Ebenso gibt es eine hohe Kadenz der Bereitstellungen. Dies birgt immer das Risiko, das sich Fehler in der neuen Version einschleichen, oder Ausfälle der Software während der Bereitstellung auftreten. Eine Möglichkeit das Risiko zu minimieren ist das Verwenden von verschiedenen Deploymentstrategien wie z.B. Blue/Green Deployments, Canary-Deployments oder A/B-Testing. Ein Tool das uns hier sehr gut unterstützen kann ist Flagger. In diesem Vortrag wird anhand von Live-Demos gezeigt wie mit Flagger im Zusammenspiel mit Flux, Istio (oder einem anderen ServiceMesh) oder einem IngressController diese Deploymentstrategien umgesetzt werden können. The February meetup of AWS User Group Ljubljana is coming up, and this month we will be hosted by Celtra! \-\-\- We will follow Žiga on a migration of a production service with a database from Heroku to AWS and how database was migrated with Database Migration Service. We will take a look at what DMS is, what it offers and the gotchas encountered when planning the migration. In the last part of the talk, we will hear about the uncaught error in the migration process that would break the migration planned for next day. \-\-\- Anej will present how Celtra implemented AWS Organization Security into their existing organization managed by years-old Terraform project. We will take a look at common patterns and specific use-cases encountered in the implementation.
