After Work MBS Jog 🏃‍♀️ (Ladies only for now!)
After Work MBS Jog 🏃‍♀️ (Ladies only for now!)
Join us for a stress free and chill jog at Marina Bay Sands! Unwind and take this chance to start the week on a great note - while enjoying beautiful views. While there are many running groups and clubs, I struggled to find one that is not as competitive or intense, one that is suitable for people who just want to incorporate some movement into their week - without feeling like they have to be fit and regular to join. I chose to start a ladies group first as running speeds usually differ between guys and ladies - I also want to keep it comfortable & simple for now. 🗓Date: 12th March Thursday, 7PM 📍Meeting Point: TBA via Telegram 🏃‍♀️Running Route: Art Science Museum > Past Flower Done & Cloud Forest > Marina Barrage, and back. (Approx. 3KM, 45 Minutes) Thereafter, we can go grab a drink together and chill, or you can head back to rest. Free and easy ! Please telegram me @germainewangg if I do not reply on meetup as we have a separate group on Telegram as well.
Sailing on Sundays for enthusiasts, old salts and beginners
Sailing on Sundays for enthusiasts, old salts and beginners
Welcome to my sailboat. **Please read this notice**. These are crew opportunities, not for passengers, non-swimmers, people afraid of the water or get seasick. Bring a change of clothes, a towel, a hat, non-marking footwear with heelstrap and sunblock. There is a toilet and drinking water on board. Participants like to contribute to expenses in appreciation of this opportunity. **Also**, please confirm your attendance by SMS or Whatsapp on Saturday for sailing on Sunday, to avoid no-shows and missed sailings. No-shows deprive others of a place, so be responsible and remove your reservation if you are not attending, and please do it in good time. Places unconfirmed by Saturday will not be reserved, and I can't wait for you if I'm not sure you're coming. Keep me informed and reply to my messages. Don't be late. Thank you. Derek 9807-5827.

LSC: Walk for Nature, Dine for Inclusion Bishan–AMK
We strive to share and care , join us for a meaningful weekday morning walk across Bishan–AMK Park—river to ponds, surrounded by birds and biodiversity—ending at **Professor Brawn Café (Pathlight School)**. Our mission is to support this café because it creates real jobs, skills, and confidence for persons with special needs—proving that inclusion is not charity, but dignity through opportunity. By showing up, spending, and sharing this cause, we help sustain a workplace where every contribution is valued. [https://www.profbrawn.com.sg/](https://www.profbrawn.com.sg/) Note 1. wear comfortably and equip for rain. 2. bring water to hydrate and light snack before walk. 3. repellant, sunblock and hat is wise. 4. if bad weather cat 1 notice early am, will inform asap for cancellation Distance around 5.5km mostly flat and stations exercise with drones We have reserved a private, quiet area for 20-30pax. appreciate soonest RSVP **What is Live Share and Care?** **Live, Share, and Care** is the CSR initiative by **Adventures Unlimited** (TA02844) that turns hiking into a mission for social good. Instead of just trekking for fitness, participants "hike with a purpose" to support vulnerable communities in Singapore. Key Pillars of LSC * **Support Local:** The group eats at stalls run by seniors or people with special needs to provide direct economic support. * **Give Back (Pack2treat):** They purchase meals from these vendors and hand-deliver them to isolated seniors in areas like Toa Payoh and Geylang. * **Provide Connection:** Volunteers offer companionship and help seniors link up with essential services like the AIC and Active Ageing Centres. You can join their activities on meetup: [https://www.meetup.com/live-share-care/](https://www.meetup.com/live-share-care/)

Kevin Rhodus from Lucy Deep Park Northside is coming to talk to us about his extensive neighborhood Christmas light display that is open in November and December every year north of Dublin. 9 houses over 12 acres and over 120,000 individual controlled lights that sync to music which you can tune into on your radio! Quite impressive! https://ldplights.com/ We'll dive into the tech that runs the show -- should be a blast to hear about this very elaborate display! While we continue to pursue a more permanent venue for this Meetup, we’ll be using public library facilities based on availability. This session will be at the Dublin Library in the Meeting Room 2
