I mean, not really, but I seem to be running out of yarn puns. Anyway... come on out to the sip and stitch in Alexandria for some community crafting and craft beer. Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery, or any other fun project you want to work on. We'll once again be at Aslin Taproom, which is very well lit for crafting, and has a full kitchen, craft beers, and soft drinks. I hope to see you there!

Weekly Draft night in NW. We currently meet up at Franklin Hall near 14th and Florida. U Street Metro is the closest stop. I'll have packs but feel free to bring packs if you have them. Entry is $17 (you can bring Play Booster packs to lower the cost by $3.50). If it is a special set, it will be more.

Come and join Northern Virginia porcelain artists. We will provide all the paints and materials needed. Just bring your smile and creativity. Join DC Metro Crafts for the first Thursday meetup. Bring your own cross stitch, knitting, crochet, or other portable craft. The Southwest Library is right off the Waterfront Metro. We'll be in Meeting Room 1. Go through both glass double doors and loop around to the right to find us. There are plenty of tables to spread out.

Join DC Metro Crafts for a field trip. We'll be at Quill and Crumbs, the cafe at the Shakespeare Folger Library. The Shakespeare Folger Library is about 3 blocks from the Capitol South metro. Head up First as you get out of the station, pass the Library of Congress and the Capitol, turn right on East Capitol, and the Folger is on the right. The entrance is around the side, not through the front of the building. Head upstairs to the cafe and we'll be at the tables at the back. Bring your own cross stitch, knitting, crochet, or other portable craft.

The Craft Cocktail's Club is experimenting with a Hump-Day Craft Cocktails events for those members in dire need of libations and social contact during the weekday. We're gathering at Bobby Van's Grill (*not the Steakhouse*) to partake in their half-off Cocktail Happy Hour (which last until 6pm). Artistic Artifacts is hosting **Open Stitch sessions on the first and third Thursday evenings** from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. This is a drop-in, bring your own hand stitching project and the necessary supplies (or you can knit, crochet... whatever needle arts you like).
