I'll be hosting Pick-Your-Poison this Wednesday — it's a great chance to bring Lorwyn Eclipsed packs and draft with them before the official release! Injuries: Play safely and be mindful of others on the court. Respect positions and avoid risky moves that could lead to injury. We're playing board games at Your Hobby Place, a Friendly Local Gaming Store in Old Town Alexandria. Feel free to bring your own games. They also have their own library of games available for play. We start at 6:00, but your group can certainly show up earlier. The store closes at 9:30. Snacks and drinks are available for sale, and several good restaurants are nearby. Free parking on Wythe St. and Columbus St. The store is 1/2 mile east from the Braddock Road Metro station down Wythe St.

On Sunday, July 5, take a break from the heat and drop in to our shop anytime from 11:00 am-3:00 pm for a creative break — **we'll be celebrating Christmas in July with a free collaged tag project!** Get a head start on preparing for the upcoming holiday season and make tags perfect for attaching to gift boxes or hanging from your tree. Beginners will be invited to join as they improve. Goal is maximum 2 tables of 5 players, we can play in multiples of 3,4, or 5. Housekeeping notes: 1. We have just learned that if you are on the wait list and a spot opens up you do not get notified. I will try to notify when I see this happening but will not always catch it...check back. 2. If you cancel after RSVP window, those on wait list will not get a notification, the wait list goes away, nor do I get notification.
