Ever want to try ceramics or build on your skills? Then this would be the perfect opportunity. The main technique used during the session is hand-building giving you the option to make so many different things for yourself, friends or family - bowls, plates, sushi dishes, plants pots and much more. Beginners will be guided through the process of making things using techniques such as slab building, coiling, pinching, texturing, under-glazing and glazing. The more advanced will be free to create and those with experience throwing would be welcome to use my wheel (to be reserved in advance). Those of you who would like to learn about glazing would need to book 2 workshops. The workshops are run in English but I do speak Catalan and Spanish. Nos encontramos una vez más para poner las manos en el barro y la creatividad al sol Como todos sábados, trabajaremos con arcilla utilizando ténicas manuales básicas para crear piezas con el objetivo de crear un momento de conexión con la creatividad y con el hacer manual, una pausa entre tanto apuro y ruido. Podrán llevarse las piezas crudas o dejarlas para buscarlas más adelante ya listas. Acompaño como profe ese momento, guiando y asistiendo en lo que necesiten.
La idea es compartir un momento relajado, con gente nueva o con amigxs, al aire libre y al sol... es un planazo o no? El encuentro es de dos horas y tiene un valor de 10 euros (se paga en efectivo o bizum). **Importante! La plaza se reserva con un adelanto de 5 euros, el resto se paga el mismo día. #### Un taller experiencial y sensorial que transforma la fotografía sin cámara en un acto pictórico. Trabajaremos con papeles alternativos y específicos para cianotipia, explorando cómo cada superficie ofrece una textura y un lenguaje distinto. La segunda parte será pura alquimia visual: experimentaremos con el **Wet Cyanotype**, un proceso donde el agua, el calor y los pigmentos crean imágenes irrepetibles, llenas de veladuras, texturas orgánicas y matices. ### ¿Qué haremos? * Preparación de papeles específicos y alternativos. * Tiras de prueba y exposición con sol e insoladora. * Creación de piezas únicas mediante el método Wet Cyanotype, trabajando con agua, pigmentos y elementos naturales. * Varias obras sobre papeles distintos, explorando contrastes y transiciones cromáticas. ### ¿Cómo va a ser? * **Primera parte:** Preparación de emulsión y sensibilización de diferentes papeles. * **Segunda parte:** Insolación práctica y experimental con los diferentes tipos de papeles, para ver las diferencias. * **Tercera parte:** Ejercicios libres de Wet Cyanotype, explorando las posibilidades pictóricas y orgánicas de la técnica. ### ¿A quién va dirigido? In April WQC's Creativity Circle will be making beaded bracelets and keychains! All supplies provided, open to all, bring yourself (and a friend or two) for when you are able to make it in the two hour window.
