**Liquid Foundation Models: Jenseits klassischer LLMs - Anastasia Hort**
**Domain-Driven Architecture - Stefan Priebsch**

WP Meetup Vienna (March) â Marketing, AI & The Future of Social
Join us for an evening about visibility, marketing, and rebuilding digital communities in a post-AI world.
This Meetup explores how we build presence and trust online today. From marketing WordPress products in an era of AI-generated noise to rethinking what healthy social media could look like, weâll examine how developers, founders, and digital professionals can stand out, without losing authenticity.
Instead of growth hacks and algorithm chasing, expect strong opinions, practical experience, and plenty of room for discussion.

âąď¸ 18:45 â Rodolfo Melogli
**âMarketing for Developers After AI + Live WooCommerce Q&Aâ**
Marketing for developers has changed fast. With AI making content cheap and abundant, volume is no longer an advantage, itâs noise.
In this talk, Rodolfo Melogli explains why personality, taste, and a clear point of view are now the real differentiators, especially for developers building WordPress products, plugins, or services.
Youâll learn how to build a recognizable presence in public without chasing algorithms or trying to become an influencer. Instead, weâll explore practical ways to turn everyday developer work, shipping features, solving support tickets, sharing opinions into marketing that actually works.
The session concludes with a live WooCommerce Q&A, applying these ideas to real-world product and growth challenges developers face today.
Rodolfo is an author, WooCommerce expert, and founder of [Business Bloomer](https://www.businessbloomer.com), [Checkout Summit](https://checkoutsummit.com), and WCWKLY. He has worked as an independent WooCommerce freelancer since 2011, helping entrepreneurs and developers overcome their WooCommerce challenges. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, playing tennis and soccer, and of course, wood-fired oven pizza.
âąď¸ 19:45 â Michael Eisenriegler
**blackâ˘box 2026: Social Media as It Should Be**
Founded in 1992, Blackâ˘Box was Austriaâs first online community and anticipated many features that define todayâs social media platforms. But back then, there were no manipulative algorithms, no bots, and far fewer trolls and fake accounts.
In this talk, Michael Eisenriegler shares how the original spirit of Blackâ˘Box can be revived using modern technology. The goal: to create digital spaces where people feel comfortable, connect meaningfully, and can truly relax online again.
We bring the âSocialâ back into Social Media.
Michael Eisenriegler (born 1964) studied Communication Science and Political Science and has been working with digital networks as human communication spaces since 1990. He is co-founder and managing director of [MediaClan GmbH](https://www.mediaclan.at) and GenSoup GmbH. His focus areas include integrated communication strategies, social media consulting, and online genealogy. He also teaches Online Journalism at the University of Vienna.
Whether youâre building WordPress products, running an agency, experimenting with AI-driven marketing, or rethinking what digital communities should look like in 2026, this Meetup will give you practical insights, fresh perspectives, and great conversations with fellow web professionals.
See you in Vienna!

**Stranger Platform Engineering: The Two Sides of Observability in Your IDP**
Your Internal Developer Platform lives in two worlds. In the **Right Side Up**, developers rely on selfâservice observability to build, deploy, operate and debug their apps. In the **Upside Down**, the platform itself must be observable to ensure its reliability, performance, and to understand usage patterns and adoption.
**The twist?** these two worlds are not separate. Improving observability *of* the platform directly improves the observability *for* the applications built on top of it. Just like in *Stranger Things*, observability becomes the force that connects both realitiesâcreating feedback loops, strengthening the platformâs foundations, and enabling teams to spot issues before they cross between worlds.
This talk reveals why mastering both sides of observability is essential for any modern IDP. Expect real-world examples, a few supernatural analogies, and practical guidance you can bring back to your platform teamâno Demogorgon hunting required
đ˛Spring Hike from Vienna (with Uschi đź)
Spring is back! You are invited to hike with us on Sunday, March 15, in the quiet hills around Vienna, starting together at 13:00 from Hßtteldorf U4 U-Bahn/S-Bahn station and reaching the Jubiläumswarte on foot at around 450 mt altitude.
The exact **meeting point** is just outside the station door facing the bus stops (you'll have the Anker bakery on your left when you exit through that door). A funny pug named Uschi will probably join us.
We'll reach the Stadtwanderweg number 4 together and then we'll follow that hiking path entirely. We'll do a 30-minute stop near the observation tower on the top of the hill, where you can eat your fruits and snacks, and we plan to be back at the HĂźtteldorf station at 17:00.
Please bring 1 liter of water and wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothes. The hike is not long, but it is moderately difficult. We might sit in the meadow for a while if the weather allows it, so bringing a blanket could also be useful.
IMPORTANT: This is not a guided hike, but simply a chance to experience nature around Vienna together, so everyone is responsible for their own health and safety.
If you need more information, please ask in the comments below.

**Attendees:**
Don't have a game to show? Not a problem! All are welcomed and invited from all ages and backgrounds. The more we can have to play test our games the better!
**Developers:**
Do you have a game that you would like to get critical feedback on? Would you like an excuse to work on a game with other talented artists, programmers, musicians, designers, and writers? Digital, table-top, non-experienced developers, and the like are welcomed! We'll provide signage for your game to help others learn more about your work. Wifi, outlets, tables, and seats (though standing tables also) are available.
Come to the Prototype and Play workshop to collaborate and meet local game developers for an evening of epic and raw game play fun! Play works-in-progress, show off your own game, work with others to add polish to a game, or even lend your talents to other fellow developers.
Can use South Garage at the Gateway with a $5 voucher on your way out.
