Board Games & Gaming Consoles @ Yo Mana (10-20 attendees)
🎮 Even though it is not an event held by us, we're thrilled by the fantastic board game nights and the vibrant gaming community of Yo Mana! With an impressive collection of **100+ board games and access to game consoles like PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch**, this is a gaming paradise.
💰 To support the community and help cover the rent, there's a **5€ participation fee**. It would be the easiest for you to bring it in cash. Trust us, it is a modest fee considering the hours of enjoyment and the variety of games at your disposal.
📅 **Check out their [website](www.yomana.ee)**! They have a Discord channel and many other events happening. Just scroll down on the website to see the calendar. Also also, there's a recurring [Facebook event](https://facebook.com/events/s/wednesday-board-games-yo-mana-/967419134491734/) for these Wednesdays.
**💬** Because **we're not the organizers of these events**, for any specific inquiries or additional information please reach out to Yo Mana through the contacts on their website.

Multi-Language Exchange Fridays @ RUKIS (10+ attendees)
👋 **Host** (text/call if you can't find the group)
* Alisa +372 560 49 272 (call) / +972 585 77 45 37 (WA text)
Love languages? 👅 Want to practice speaking? Come to our meetup!
*How does it work? Simple!*
👉 Make a name tag with your name and languages that you speak/learn!
👉 Look for someone who has a language you want to practice - and strike a conversation!
*Important:*
* **Be comfortable to "eavesdrop"** **on a conversation** in a fascinating language you are not ready to speak yet - "I just want to listen" is a thing! ☝😎
* If someone joins you with this intention - **don't switch to English** (as you normally would, because you don't want to exclude your friend from a conversation!) - but in this setting - **keep talking!** You are giving others an opportunity to listen! 😁👂
Well, this is it... we are looking forward to seeing you on Friday! Let's discover unexpected language matches together! 🤩
📸Disclaimer: The host may take photos during the event for promotion purposes. If you do not agree with this, please inform the host directly at the beginning of the meetup, otherwise it will be understood as consent.
✅**Please RSVP** so that we could take your participation into account. Let the hosts know if you happen to be late. Invite friends and family who share your love for books and languages!

Bible Study every Friday (in English)
To all locals, expats, and visitors in Tallinn, welcome!
My wife and I are delighted to invite you to study the Word of God with us every Friday at 6:30 p.m. in a casual setting, accompanied by coffee and tea.
We believe the Bible is entirely true, and we strive to live by its teachings. We also believe that the love of God is so powerful that it can touch hearts and heal what's broken in all of us.
Let's study Christianity together to help you find answers to questions like:
\*What is the meaning of life?
* How do I deal with difficult situations
* Who is God, and what is the Trinity?
* How can Jesus Christ help me?
* How can I forgive and treat others with love?
Please join us or reach out if you have any questions!
The meetups are in English.

Join us on **Friday, June 19th** in Tallinn Old Town for a deep dive into the landscape of AI equities.
AI stocks are no longer just a Nvidia story.
We see surreal charts like Intel, SK Hynix, Sandisk on a regular basis now. Lets learn why.
We welcome all investors, analysts and tech specialists - come learn why AI is currently running so hot.
**Memory**
As AI models grow, one of the key bottlenecks is the amount of memory they require. We will learn about High Bandwidth Memory (HBM), and the 3 key players driving this market.
**Semiconductor and CPU**
The compute ecosystem is shifting rapidly, including a surge in CPU and ASIC demand. We’ll analyze the competitive landscape and upcoming prospects of these players.

Cherokee Double Wall Basket Weaving Workshop - Newark Earthworks - $140, 9a-1p
This workshop offers more than a class—it is a hands-on cultural experience rooted in patience, precision, and ancestral knowledge.
Learn the fundamentals of Cherokee double-wall basket construction, a technique known for its strength, balance, and visual depth. This style creates two walls woven simultaneously, resulting in a seamless, durable basket that holds both function and story. Each kit thoughtfully includes pre-soaked and hand-dyed reed, core weaving materials, and guidance through every step of the process. You’ll learn proper starts, shaping, tension control, and how the inner and outer walls work together as one structure.
Designed to be accessible for beginners and deeply satisfying for experienced weavers, this workshop emphasizes respect for materials, intentional making, and the rhythm of the hands. With proper supervision, older children and teens may participate, making this an excellent intergenerational learning experience.

This workshop is led by Renata Cauthon, a Cherokee artist and enrolled citizen of the Cherokee Nation, and one of the few IACB-listed Cherokee artists in Ohio.
Beginning her professional art career in 2023, Renata has participated in several exhibitions across the country, including juried art shows. Her work is featured in her tribe’s official gift shop as well as several museum shops, blending traditional Cherokee design with contemporary storytelling to explore identity, resilience, and cultural continuity.
The 2025 Reach Indigenous Advocacy Indigenous Advocate of the Year has worked tirelessly to provide access to Cherokee culture in Ohio through partnerships like her work with Fort Ancient Earthworks & Nature Preserve — part of the UNESCO-listed Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks.
Since 2024, Renata has led hands-on workshops at Fort Ancient, giving visitors the opportunity to experience Cherokee traditions as living, evolving practices. Customize the IDE: Building Extensions for Visual Studio Code - Alan Barber
**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you.
The building address is 4450 Bridge Park
The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400
You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge.
**Abstract**
*Customize the IDE: Building Extensions for Visual Studio Code*
Visual Studio Code is one of the most widely used development environments today, and much of its flexibility comes from its extension ecosystem. Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs.
In this session, we’ll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps. We’ll also look at practical reasons a developer might create an extension, from automating repetitive tasks to adding custom tooling.
The session includes a hands-on walkthrough of creating a new extension, testing it locally, and understanding the basic project structure. We’ll close with a brief overview of how extensions are packaged and published to the Visual Studio Marketplace and other distribution options.
