Let's meet to practice Taiji Pushhands!
You can suggest drills and exercices or I can also suggest to try a few things.
As I am starting to develop some sensitivity to different qualities of touch and weight balance, I wish to further explore by practicing push hands with different partners of all levels and all styles (Bagua, Taichi, Yiquan, Aikido...), in a gentle, soft, and non-competitive way. Just having fun exploring what happens, what works and what doesn't.
Noticing what's not working also helps moving forward in the right direction towards the real and surprising skills of internal arts
I only have a few years experience of Taichichuan.
There is a nice garden near Republique when we could meet to practice during the week at lunchtime, if that time slot suits you.

Cours de hatha yoga
🌙 Pourquoi pratiquer le soir en cours collectif ?
Après une journée de travail ou d’obligations, le corps accumule tensions et fatigue mentale. Un cours de Hatha Yoga en soirée permet de relâcher la pression, de ralentir le rythme et de mieux dormir.
La dynamique de groupe aide à rester motivé(e) et à s’accorder ce temps pour soi. L’énergie collective soutient la pratique, même si l’on débute. On se sent porté(e), sans jugement, dans un cadre simple et bienveillant.

En fin de séance, la relaxation profonde aide à apaiser le système nerveux, favorise un sommeil plus réparateur et permet de terminer la journée plus sereinement.
Cours d'initiation au théâtre et à l'improvisation
Apparemment jamais deux sans trois, donc on remet ça !
Notre rendez-vous avec le théâtre et l’improvisation commence doucement à prendre sa place au café.
L’idée reste la même : créer un moment simple, où l’on peut venir essayer sans pression.
Alors si tu veux rejoindre l’aventure maintenant, pas besoin d’être venu aux précédentes éditions, pas besoin d’avoir déjà fait du théâtre, ni même d’être extraverti.
L’idée, c’est juste de venir, de te laisser porter par les exercices, les échanges, les impros, et tu seras peut-être surpris de voir ce qui en sort.
C’est un atelier qui permet de découvrir une discipline artistique, mais aussi de rencontrer du monde autrement, en tentant quelque chose qu’on n’ose pas toujours faire.
Nico sera encore là pour animer tout ça, pour notre plaisir à tous.
Si tu étais là aux premières sessions, tu connais déjà l’ambiance.
Et pour les autres, ce 3e atelier sera peut-être l’occasion de venir découvrir.

This is a free, in person meeting.
Burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to “pin the blame” on someone or something. If you don’t find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse.
Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well.
Whether you are suffering from a divorce, or a painful break-up, don’t know who to trust (or who to CHOOSE) as a partner, friend, boss or employee - the anxiety of relationship troubles can really make a mess of things. Maybe you’ve suffered a betrayal, or are dealing with hostility or criticalness or invalidation. Dwindling relationships can involve destructive behavior, where we hurt those we love, or start succumbing to self-destructive thoughts, attitudes or behaviors that spiral out of control and affect much more than our immediate relationship.

Join us at Unity of Columbus for our Weekly Reiki Share, a peaceful and uplifting gathering for connection, healing, and growth. A Reiki Share is a time where Reiki practitioners and students come together to give and receive healing energy in a supportive and welcoming environment. These sessions will be moderated by Columbus Unity Reiki. Reiki is a hands-on energy healing method from Japan that first came to the United States in 1938. Since then, it has grown in popularity and is now widely practiced throughout the West.
All levels are welcome, and you do not need to be a practitioner at Unity of Columbus to attend.
