WIN AI — meet-up #3 | AI community for women in Luxembourg
**If building with AI feels intimidating, this meet-up is for you. If it doesn't, come watch another woman build her app.**
For our third WIN AI meet-up, we're trying something new.
Until now, we've looked at how women in our community use AI applications in their work and life.
This time, we're looking at someone building one.
Aisling McCaffrey is working on a social media posting app. Think of it as a stripped-down Canva plus Buffer. She'll walk us through the concept, some of the Claude skills she's been using to improve it, how she hosts it, and what she's learned along the way.
It's not a tutorial. Just a real look at what it's like to build something with AI.
After the demo, we open it up. What questions does this raise for you? What would you want to build if you had the time? And the usual: where is WIN AI going, and what do you want from it.
Come as you are. Bring your curiosity and your half-formed ideas, especially the ones you haven't said out loud yet.

This pilot is particularly relevant for:
• professionals navigating career transitions

• professionals seeking greater clarity and alignment in their career direction

Agentic AI in Practice
# **Agentic AI in Practice: Real Stories, Real Results**
AI agents are moving from hype to real-world use, but what does that actually look like in practice?
Join us for our next Brighton AI meetup on **Wednesday 3rd June, 6pm to 8pm**, where we’ll be exploring how people are using agentic AI in real life, not just in theory.
This session will focus on practical examples, useful lessons and honest reflections from people putting AI agents to work. We’ll look at how agentic AI is being used to improve workflows, boost productivity, support teams, speed up research, manage tasks, make decisions and get projects moving.
## **Speaker line-up so far**
We’ll be joined by:
* **Amber**, who will share how she’s using agents to support **personal productivity**
* **Thomas Mann from Clawbench**, who will talk about building an **agentic AI start-up** and how to optimise your agents
* **Antony from Brilliant Noise**, who will share how agents are being put into **client teams**, and potentially how they’re being used within their own company too
Expect short, accessible talks followed by a panel discussion on what’s working, what’s still tricky, and what others can learn from early experiments and real-world implementation.
You don’t need a technical background to join. This session is for anyone curious about how AI agents are being used now, what they can help with, and what they might mean for the way we work next.

**Details for first sync (out of 7):**
Our First sync (out of 7) will focus on setting the context, Descartes' project, his intended audience, and his communication strategy by reading the Introduction/preface and the dedication to the theological faculty of the Sorbonne.

Note: French publication context, not part of the core Latin sequence.

**How it works:**

Exclusive shopping event! Ladies' night with tapas, drinks, and a discount... :)
On Thursday 4 June, the family-run boho-chic "Dress Me Up" boutique in Luxembourg city center is welcoming our group for an exclusive shopping event!
The clothes at Dress Me Up are truly unique -- no, really, almost every article of clothing in there is literally one-of-a-kind! All of their clothes are ecologically sustainable, cruelty-free, and fairly priced for the great quality. Here is their website so you can get a feel for their general styles: https://www.dressmeup.lu/
The owners have graciously offered our group 10% off everything in their store, along with homemade Spanish tapas, crémant, and soft drinks. We will be in the shop after-hours, so nobody will interrupt us as we get to know each other over drinks and nibbles, and help each other pick out fun new pieces for our wardrobe :)
The shop is located in "Galerie Beaumont", just across from Sephora on Grand Rue. Enter past the Paris 8 and keep left in the "arcade" until you get there.
The event starts at 18:30 and we should be there for about two hours, though we aren't in any rush. If you need to arrive a little later, no worries! See you there :)

COUNT monthly event: Kitchen service at Van Buren Center's shelter
Come assist Van Buren Shelter (https://ymcacolumbus.org/locations/vanburen) staff in serving dinners and cleaning up on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Dinner for the women is 5-6 pm and for the families is 6:15-7:15 pm. There is ample free parking available in the shelter's lot. The recommended area to park is in green in the image above.
There will be a new entrance for the time being. We are asking all volunteers to enter through the Donation Dock door, the orange mark on the image above. This door is located between the Single Adults and Family Shelter. You will see 2 large garage doors with a large green trash compactor in the center. Please head to the closest garage door to the building wall, with a ramp leading up. There, you will see a door with a sign stating instructions on how to enter the building. Please ring the doorbell, and a staff member will come and escort you into the building. If a staff member takes longer than 5 minutes, please call the front desk at 614-689-2020. This is a new process for us, and we do not want to keep you waiting! We appreciate your patience as we navigate this temporary change.
The shelter needs a volunteer count the day before the event so sign-up ends Monday at 4:50 PM. Afterwards some of us go to the Omnipresent Atheists Weekly Meetup in progress to have a bit to eat or drink (http://www.meetup.com/omnipresentatheists/).
Volunteers must be 14 or older. Since we will be working around families, the YMCA does not permit volunteering by individuals with convictions for violent or sexual crimes. The YMCA reserves the right to run background checks on volunteers.
For questions, comment on this page or contact: Andrew, awhit12@yahoo.com, (614)937-5802 (cell). Please let Andrew know if you volunteer anytime other than our COUNT events so that he can count your hours toward our service record.
