We are delighted to welcome you to the second year of the **Mama Cacao Showcase**, a series of intimate gatherings where music, cacao, movement, and community come together in the heart of nature. These evenings are created as a space to celebrate presence, creativity, and connection. Under the open sky and surrounded by the quiet beauty of the forest, we gather to share ceremonial cacao and experience a carefully curated musical journey. Each edition of the Showcase features a **special guest artist**, making every gathering unique. Together with Jkson, our guest will guide us through a night of sound, rhythm, and movement—an invitation to open the heart, awaken the body, and celebrate the joy of being alive. This is more than a performance; it is a shared experience where music becomes a bridge between inner reflection and collective celebration. ## The Journey **Cacao Ceremony** We begin by opening the circle with the sacred medicine of Mama Cacao, brought from the lands of Peru. This ancient plant has been used for centuries to support connection, presence, and heartfelt communication. **Music & Ecstatic Dance Journey** Together with a special guest artist, Jkson will guide the musical journey of the evening. This part of the gathering invites free movement and authentic expression. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome!
