Hello Rubyists! This month, we're turning our attention to AI and the many ways it's already changing how we work and build with Ruby and Rails. Our meetup will have 3 shorter talks so we can get more perspectives how different developers and companies use AI. Netko je jednom rekao - jedini pravi programeri su matematičari i fizičari - pa nas programere veseli ugostiti Antoniju Capan profesoricu savjetnicu matematike, Zrinku Tomašković, profesoricu matematike i Josipa Karasa, profesora fizike. **STEM obrazovanje** sve je važnije za razvoj vještina potrebnih u svijetu koji se brzo mijenja. No kako ono izgleda u praksi – *u učionicama, projektima i radu s učenicima*? Od Antonije Capan ćemo iz prve ruke naučiti o aktivnostima karlovačkih nastavnika koji koriste integrirani pristup učenju kroz praktične projekte, učenju rješavanjem stvarnih problema i kreativnom radu s učenicima, kakvi se STEM projekti provode u karlovačkim školama, koje se digitalne i edukacijske alate koristi u nastavi i koje dobre prakse potiču kritičko razmišljanje i samostalno istraživanje učenika. Antonija je s kolegicama i kolegama pokrenula i *StemKA konferenciju*, koja u Karlovac dovodi izvrsne predavače i primjere inovativnog rada u obrazovanju. Govorit ćemo i o iskustvu organiziranja takvog događaja te o tome kako se oko STEM-a gradi lokalna zajednica. U predavanju će se također osvrnuti na aktualna istraživanja o stanju STEM obrazovanja, izazove poput nedostatka nastavnika te inicijative koje kroz rad udruga pokušavaju unaprijediti sustav. This session is open forum to share your current projects—whether complete or in progress, it’s all interesting! Whether you’re deep into embedded systems, exploring new ideas, or just getting started, you’ll find a welcoming space to collaborate, share, and get inspired. **New to electronics or curious about tinkering?** You’re absolutely welcome. If you’re a beginner and want to experiment, I’ll have a couple of starter kits available so you can try things out—whether that’s blinking your first LED, putting something on a display, or experimenting with simple sensors. No pressure and no experience required—just an interest in learning and building. While we continue to pursue a more permanent venue for this Meetup, we’ll be using public library facilities based on availability.
