This talk will discuss a playbook security teams can apply today — covering the CSA "Mythos-Ready" framework, AWS Security Agent, agentic threat modeling, and the fundamentals that continue to work **Using HoneyPots to protect critical Infrastructure (Giulio):** How do you protect your critical infrastructure in the days of agentic ai and very limited options on your hosts? You need to get creative and use stone age tech. I’ll give you some insights, from our journey and pitfalls you might be facing (and should be avoided :)) **We Tried to Detect Prompt Injection in Coding Agents. Here's What Broke (Paulo):** As a community, we are delegating a significant part of our development workflow to agents, and as the use cases grow, the risk of prompt injection keeps increasing - to the point that it made it to the top of the OWASP LLM Top 10. In this talk, I'll explore the concept of "detect and prevent prompt injection" and why it is particularly hard to do for coding agents. **Speaker Details:** **Markus Rollwagen** Senior Solutions Architect at AWS, based in Switzerland Markus enjoys deep dive technical discussions, while keeping an eye on the big picture and the customer goals. With a software engineering background, he embraces infrastructure as code and is passionate about all things security. **Giulio Grazzi** Head IT Security, SRF From bike messaging to networking to infosec - always maximize never max out. Currently at Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen dealing with all Infosec topics, background in networking, embedded devices and mobile security. **Paulo Martin** Principal Security Engineer, GitLab since 2021 Now focused on AI security: prompt injection, sandboxing, and keeping agentic workflows from doing things they shouldn't.

Over the past few years, the platform team standardized CI/CD, shifted to an API-first cloud model, and enforced GitOps and Infrastructure-as-Code — not just for operational hygiene, but as the foundation for what comes next: autonomous AI coding agents that implement features, review code, design architectures, and flag security issues. This talk covers the journey from platform engineering to AI-driven delivery, what's already running in production, and what it means for development teams when the agent ships and the human approves. Talk 2 Title: Directly from Vegas, the SRE extension, baked in Zürich, is live! Speaker: Ricc & Ramón, Google

Impact Over Perfection – A Practical Approach to Accessibility
Impact Over Perfection – A Practical Approach to Accessibility
Accessibility often feels overwhelming with all its guidelines, standards and edge cases. But in practice, meaningful improvements don’t require perfection. They require empathy and a sincere motivation to create a truly usable experience for all. In this talk, we share real learnings from UX and UI projects: what actually made a difference, where teams struggled, and how small, deliberate changes created a much more inclusive experience. You’ll walk away with a practical mindset and actionable ideas to start improving accessibility in your own projects — without waiting for the “perfect” solution. ZH3 Hash # 1729: The Can‘t Get You Out of My Head. Head, Who Said Head Hash?
ZH3 Hash # 1729: The Can‘t Get You Out of My Head. Head, Who Said Head Hash?
Kylie Minogue said Head and today we celebrate the birthday of the Pint of Aussie Beer Sized Princess of Pop. Your glamorous Hares have made a pop splendid trail Especially For You. A trail that will have you doing The Loca-Motion from A to A and a popfantastic drink stop to have you Spinning Around. A refreshing swim stop where hopefully the water won’t get In Your Eyes. A trail so good it might just get named trail of the year - I Should Be So Lucky! Bag drop at the mobility car at the end of Hermetschloostrasse. Final stop on the bus 31. VIP glitzy On after at Micas Garten. Hares are Just Beggin' For It & Cheese Eating Surrender Monkey. **Where**: See location. Typically within Zurich Zone 10. Look for English speakers wearing running gear. **When:** We'll meet at 6:50 pm to start at 7:00 pm. There's a charge of CHF 5 for participating, which covers all you can drink beer/cider (and non-alcoholic alternatives) plus snacks afterwards. **All Welcome:** If you are new, curious, and want to get out of the house, stretch your legs, talk shit, enjoy a drink, and hopefully a laugh, then here's what you need to know: • We are a social running/walking group, physical fitness is not required, but a sense of humour is useful. • The aim is to find the '*Beer Stop*' at the end of the '*trail*' and have fun. • 'True Trail' is typically 4-7 km. Some will go less (especially those walking or walk/running), and some over-achieving fast runners will go further. • The '*Hare*', which changes each event (along with location), cleverly lays the trail (typically with flour marks) so that everyone reaches the end at the same time. • There is always a place to deposit your bag and sometimes a place to change. • **After Trail**, we group for \~20-40 minutes for drinks, snacks, and some fun. This '*Circle*' is typically outside, so leave something warm in your bag in winter (and bring a flashlight when it's dark). If you don't want to stand around drinking afterwards, you can head home. We occasionally all go to a restaurant afterwards. **Why bother leaving your warm & dry sofa?** If you enjoy getting outside, being around people, and doing something a bit different, you will probably enjoy hashing. Exercise is important, and this is probably the least boring way to get it. 'Hashing' and the idea of some physical activity to work up a thirst, have been around for almost 90 years and there are groups (*Hashes*) in most major cities. Its humor and 'traditions' can be explored on the internet - **or you can just come along and find out.** *See you there.* We are of many nationalities, all ages, full of misfits and idiots (at least there is no one taking themselves seriously!) and always welcome newbies 'Virgin Hashers' and visitors from other groups. Web Zurich Mai 2026
Web Zurich Mai 2026
Web Zurich presents inspiring talks all about the web. Join us for the Mai 2026 meetup! We will have three talks as well as chit-chat and drinks. Whatapp: [https://chat.whatsapp.com/FxOfVTK9nf431xHtVl3eGK](https://chat.whatsapp.com/FxOfVTK9nf431xHtVl3eGK) Website: [https://webzurich.ch](https://webzurich.ch) 18:30 \~ 19:00 Arrival time with drinks, chat 19:00 \~ 19:10 Welcome and introduction 19:10 \~ 19:30 *Alex Suzuki* **Monetizing JavaScript: Building Profitable Products as a Solo Developer** Lessons learned from building and launching a commercial JavaScript library as a solo developer. 19:30 \~ 19:50 *Hugo Sousa* **Ten times tea** I'm building a programming language. When I got to the frontend, I ran into a problem: React's mental model is elegant, but the mental model is at odds with the code. Hooks, effects, and render passes create a runtime that bears little resemblance to the code we write. The Elm programming language works differently and its architecture (TEA = The Elm Architecture) has been adopted by other tools over the years. So I copied it as well. My language embeds TEA at the language level, not as a library. This unlocks time-travel debugging, reproducible application state and serializable bug reports that include the entire program state. This talk covers the quick introduction of my language, TEA, why TEA is the right fit and what becomes possible when the architecture is baked into the language itself. 19:50 \~ 20:10 *Marco Gähler* **Software testing** Many old software projects don't have any tests - if the code works, why should you bother with tests? Well, you really should bother, because code changes all the time. During development, you keep adding new features which at times requires large scale modifications of the code that will inevitably alter existing functionality. And in existing projects, one still has to make updates once in a while, for example for security patches. These things will always break existing functionality and tests are the only remedy against this issue. In this talk, we will look at the basic idea of tests, how to implement them, what issues to look out for and how you can test pretty much any piece of code if your code base is well structured. 20:10 onward More drinks & chat We look forward to see you there! Location https://zurich.impacthub.ch/space/bogen_d/ Viaduktstrasse 93, 8005 Zürich, Switzerland Visit our website https://webzurich.ch/ for more information about the Web Zurich community. This event is supported by Impact Hub Zürich, The global community of entrepreneurial people prototyping the future of business. At Impact Hub, you can connect, collaborate, co-work and create great content in an inspiring environment.

The **"Connection Space"** is exactly the opposite of that; its a **fun** social environment outside family and work, a cultural exchange, where we **unite** and hangout with **new and old friends** as **one community**. . Thats it. . No to phones, laptops, zoom-calls, books No to a specific reason to get together (eg. only for specific hobbies, genders, age groups, languages etc) No to just talking to your friends Not a dating, not a party, not an expat-only meetup NO to division (political racial gender etc) . Yes to simple and real in-person connection with new and old friends YES TO FUN! We got many optional activities for you to try out Yes to feeling like home & come as you are Yes to unity, love and respect for one another Yes to eating, drinking and music Yes to everyone-is-welcome & always-free events YES to UNITY! Getting along with each other in spite of different opinions . Our events are **inspired** by the Greek village culture of "[Καφενείο](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kafenio)" (village coffeeshops) with photos [HERE](https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=569660528&sxsrf=AM9HkKlXnclaLfgcockKtdr9qHdmD5jaGw:1696060562834&q=greek+%CE%BA%CE%B1%CF%86%CE%B5%CE%BD%CE%B5%CE%B9%CE%BF&tbm=isch&source=lnms&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi52fX67dGBAxXnlf0HHZNiBHUQ0pQJegQICRAB&biw=1460&bih=913&dpr=2). When myself Christos was a kid, my granddad took me to these "[Καφενείο](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kafenio)". Every neighbourhood had one, and people met, without an exaggeration, on a daily-basis. It was the community center of the village. People met new and old friends, played games, socialised, ate snacks, drank coffee and ouzo. It was a very friendly, welcoming and homey environment. Unfortunately this concept is rapidly dying in Greece. As a kid I had extremely good memories of these coffeeshops, and for this reason I am passionate to revive and recreate this environment and also add a modern twist. Hope you enjoy it! . * **WHAT is NOT Connection Space? NOT** a drinks or party event (responsible drinking only, no shots, no free drinks). **NOT** a dating event. **NOT** foreigners-only, but everyone is welcome * **What KIND of event is this?** Its a mix of **social** and **cultural event** that build **community**. We have many people from so many different cultures socialising, we promote culture with events with Art exhibitions and Live Music and we also revive the social culture of the Greek traditional village coffeeshop (Καφενείο - read more above). * **WHO?** Wir wollen gerne mehr **Schweizer/innen** dabei haben! Alle sind willkommen und die meisten können Deutsch sprechen. Not an expat event. **Everyone welcome**! * **Mindful Connection Games:** from [The School of Life](https://www.theschooloflife.com/shop/?_product_type=games-card-sets) available: Confessions Game, The Friendship Game, Connection Game, The Loser Game, Games for grown-ups and three sets of "100 questions" (Conversation Toolkit & Careers & Relationships) * **Fun Social Games:** bring your own **board/card games** or choose from: Cards against humanity, Exploding Kittens, Codenames, Debatable, Sotally Tober, Taboo, Mafia, Uno, Monopoly and more. . Looking forward to **fun quality Connections**! 🙂

**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you. The building address is 4450 Bridge Park The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400 You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge. **Abstract** Like it or not, AI agents are now capable of turning a quickly written paragraph of requirements into a pull request that is ready to be integrated into real-world production applications and it's now our responsibility to make sure AI doesn't go rogue and take down prod - or corrupt our data by misunderstanding the requirements or our existing schemas. In this session we'll explore strategies to protect our codebases through unit and integration testing, documentation, and code review along with additional ways of providing context and guard rails to our AI agents as they carry out the work we've assigned them to do. By the time we're done, you'll have a firm grasp of the problem and understand some helpful options for protecting your codebase from vibe coding mishaps getting YOLOed into prod. **YouTube Link** https://youtube.com/live/BltmWMH1zG0?feature=share
