We do cycles of 4-6 weeks, with a progressive load, and a recovery week at the end of the cycle. Session: * 10 - 20’ warm up (easy run and drills) * Core session (ie. 6x5' - 2' recovery) * Cool down We run together during Warm-up, and cool down and tey to regroup during recovery time. Paces are not imposed (everyone runs at his/her own pace) given the intensity suggested. Notes: It's NOT required to have an activity tracker or smart watch to be able to follow the session, as I'll be giving signals with a whistle. Intervals training is not advised for total beginners. Men’s Sharing Circle
Many men in our current society carry burdens alone and don't have the opportunity, people or safe spaces to share personal struggles, stories, frustrations and just vent. Men are often discouraged and even judged for sharing personal issues and talking about their emotions. A lot of men live their lives with these issues and frustrations bottled up inside, making life much harder than it has to be. A lot of times, men in our current world share the same problems, so it's important to know that you're not alone. This event aims to create a safe space for men to gather and talk about their stories, struggles, and all kinds of difficulties they're facing in their everyday life and just vent about life in general. It's important to not only create a safe space but also create the necessary support system for each other, so any form of emotional support or personal advice shared with other members is welcomed and appreciated, but feel no pressure to do so. Oftentimes, a listening ear is all someone needs. **Who is this event for?** This event is free and open to all men, regardless of what you're going through. Everyone is welcome, even if you don't feel comfortable sharing personal things and being vulnerable. Curiosity and presence are what matter. **Will we cover certain topics?** There are many common issues among modern men, such as loneliness, addictions, purpose, pressure from other people, social media influences, dating and dating apps, conditional love, relationship with parents, religion and spirituality. These are just some examples of what many modern men struggle with, but we will not cover a specific topic; instead, you can use the abovementioned examples to reflect on yourself. We will keep the conversation open and welcoming for everyone. Everyone is welcome to contribute with their own stories and struggles.

We will be walking through the forest for a little over 1 1/2 hours, silently, just noticing the world around us and inside us. The idea is to experience the magic of a different type of walking, The invitation is to slow down and notice what is going on inside you and around you. Very often people experience a closer connection with nature and with self, with sometimes surprising insights. *Please make sure you are fit enough to go the 4.5 km distance. We will be walking slowly, but we will not take any breaks.* We will be meeting at the Hermann Debroux Metro at **14h**. (Exit straight ahead after leaving the platform--on the Loxam side). If you RSVP as coming, please be on time. We will be starting our walk from there 5 min. after the hour sharp. Past questions have been wide and not confined to academic philosophy: What is a genuine friend? Is social media turning us into emotional zombies? Do we lose some of the experience of things by defining them? Are we driven by sex? Is loneliness a personal failure? This is an in-person meeting. Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance. Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you. The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life. For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues.
