Hey members, come join us for this lovely evening sunset walk with your SG Hiking friends. It is a scenic stroll to enjoy the beautiful Park Connectors alongside the rivers and reservoirs. From the nice lookout bridges at Yishun/Lower Seletar, we'll walk through a tunnel along the Springleaf PCN river to Springleaf Nature Park and continue to Rocket Tower at Upper Seletar Reservoir to enjoy the breathtaking sunset. Thereafter, we'll continue with a Food Tour to check out the nice food & eateries along Springleaf row of shop-houses for dinner/ drinks (optional) eg. the famous Ampang Yong Tau Foo, Springleaf Prata etc. beside the Springleaf Mrt Station. Most importantly, this event is a good opportunity for you to catch up, meet up and get to know more SG Hiking friends. As this is a free event and slots are limited, please RSVP early. Remember to provide us your Mobile Number when you RSVP so that we can send you the details and exact place to meet once RSVP closes.. Those without Nos. shall be removed from the list. Hello everyone! Place to Meet: Tampines MRT Passenger Service Control Centre (East West Line) Time: 5pm 1\. Dinner at Tampines MRT 2\. Walk along Tampines Ave 4/3/10/North Dr 2/St 64/Ave 11/St 62/Ave 12/Ave 9/Ave 6/Ave 2 before ending at Tampines East MRT The route may be modified during the walk to better suit the group’s pace and fitness levels. The organizers will make adjustments as needed to ensure the walk remains enjoyable and manageable for all participants. Do drop me a message via whatsapp or via meetup if you will be late. You may consider the following: 1\. Comfortable Clothing • Moisture-wicking fabrics: Avoid cotton, as it traps moisture and causes chafing. Instead, choose clothing made from materials like polyester, nylon, or merino wool, which keep you dry.
 • Comfortable socks: Opt for moisture-wicking socks with cushioning to reduce the risk of blisters. 2\. Proper Footwear
 • Well-fitting shoes: Ensure your shoes are properly broken in and provide enough support, especially if you're walking long distances. Sturdy hiking or walking shoes with good arch support are ideal.
 • Blister prevention: Consider blister-resistant socks or pack blister pads to address any discomfort before it becomes a problem. 3\. Hydration
 • Water bottle: Stay hydrated throughout the walk to maintain energy levels and prevent dehydration. 4\. Snacks
 • Energy bars or trail mix: Portable, nutrient-packed snacks high in carbohydrates and protein—perfect for refueling during breaks.
 • Nuts or dried fruit: Easy to carry and great for providing long-lasting energy. 5\. Umbrella

Welcome to my sailboat. **Please read this notice**. These are crew opportunities, not for passengers, non-swimmers, people afraid of the water or get seasick. Bring a change of clothes, a towel, a hat, non-marking footwear with heelstrap and sunblock. There is a toilet and drinking water on board. Participants like to contribute to expenses in appreciation of this opportunity. **Also**, please confirm your attendance by SMS or Whatsapp on Saturday for sailing on Sunday, to avoid no-shows and missed sailings. No-shows deprive others of a place, so be responsible and remove your reservation if you are not attending, and please do it in good time.
