Many people today feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected despite living in a time of unprecedented comfort and opportunity. In this first gathering of the **Vienna Mind & Meaning Circle**, we will explore the psychological and societal factors behind burnout, attention difficulties, and the growing search for meaning in modern life. **Anknüpfend an die Fahrt in den Frühling - von der bereits im August 2024 in der Bromton Junction berichtet wurde - machten sich Michl, Gerald, Seppi, Gudrun und Daniel erneut auf den Weg Richtung Süden.** Dieses Mal starteten sie im Oktober 2025 dort, wo sie im Frühling angekommen waren. Dem Motto des Rennradwanderns blieben sie auch dieses Mal dank des großen Interesses an ausgefallenen Orten und vergessenen Pfaden treu. Leicht bepackt ging es in 11 Tagen mit mehr als 1.500km und über 20.000 Höhenmeter quer durch das Hinterland des Balkan. Von Kroatien aus radelten die Fünf durch Bosnien, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albanien und Nordmazedonien bis nach Griechenland auf dem Weg nach Athen. Natürlich warteten aber auch einige ungeplante Überraschungen auf die Rennradwanderer - davon und noch viel mehr wird am 18.März in der Brompton Junktion berichtet.

Weekly screenings from a large archive of many of the most significant, yet seldom seen and rarely accessible cinematic masterpieces in the history of film - from its earliest beginnings to the present day. Screenings are in original language, if English, or original language with English subtitles. Films are selected democratically on the inspiration of a brief pre-screening discussion. The selected title is typically a "neglected gem" that most of us discover together for the first time. Individual taste is not a criterion and all participants are expected to put the interests of the group as a whole above personal preference or prejudice. In this sense, the emphasis is on openness, exploration, and surprise. Each screening is followed by an in-depth group discussion, led and moderated by the curator. WARNNG: FilmStory is not just about watching movies! Rather, it's a socially responsible, intellectual engagement, involving an organic approach to group study of film language, philosophy, art, history, politics, and technology. In this sense, the film is always merely the current highlight in an explorative, ongoing group discussion. **FilmStory** is a members-only series that involves a closely knit community of cinephiles. Im Liechtenstein Gartenpalais läuft derzeit eine internationale Ausstellung, die sich erstmals genauer mit den Dynamiken des Kunstmarkts beschäftigt – also zum Beispiel mit Marktplätzen, Verkaufsstrategien und der Preisgestaltung. In der Ausstellung zeigen die Sammlungen des Fürsten von Liechtenstein, wie sich der europäische Kunsthandel entwickelt hat: von der Antike über die italienischen Stadtstaaten der Renaissance bis zum Goldenen Zeitalter der Niederlande und den spektakulären Präsentationen und transatlantischen Verkäufen im 19. Du wirst in diesem lockeren Kunstgeschichte Kurs direkt vor den Originalen Meisterwerken im Kunsthistorischen Museum Wien einen Überblick über die wichtigsten Epochen der Kunstgeschichte von der Kunst des Mittelalters bis ins 18. Jahrhundert bekommen und wirst fortan Kunst in allen Ausstellungen anders sehen und verstehen und Zusammenhänge besser erkennen können. Jede Woche wenden wir uns einer Epoche zu und einem der wichtigsten Werke von einem der bedeutendsten Künstler im Kunsthistorischen Museum. Vorkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich, der Kurs ist aber auch für Fortgeschrittene gut besuchbar. Alles wird in lockerem Beisammensein vor den Bildern stattfinden, anschließend stehen das wunderschöne Café in der Kuppelhalle im Museum und die vielen netten Lokale in nächster Nähe für weiteres Beisammensein zur Verfügung und natürlich kann man auch einfach noch weiter alleine oder mit alten und den neuen Bekannten sich selbständig im Museum noch mehr anschauen. The topic for March is "Our Bodies, Ourselves" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human.
