What we believe our partner or a potential partner might want. Or maybe it’s what we believe we need to do and have to be happy. I was one of these people. My life checked all the boxes for what I thought I needed in order to be happy. And still, I wasn’t. Join me for a coffee talk on what it means to live a Life By Design. Where your choices are deliberate and based on your authentic, true self. What you have to let go off to achieve this (hint: the notion that vulnerability is a weakness and feelings of fear and guilt) and who you will become in the process.

Join a calming and creative workshop where we work with pure, natural beeswax. Over 2.5–3 hours, participants will make several types of candles – free-standing rolled candles, hand-dipped tapers, and poured tealights. We are a group of people meeting on Tuesdays to socialize around cooking and eating together. Usually around 40-50 people. Many are international students, but also other people join. The foodclub exist independent of Meetup, we invite you because we have room for a few more people. The food is vegan and made from donated leftover veggies from a local greengrocery. The place has originally hosted leftwing activist groups, and many of the people joining are also involved in political groups. If you want to join for chopping and cooking, we will be doing that from 3 to 6 pm. It is possible to join part of the time. From 6 to 8pm we are serving food. Donation around 30 kroner. If you are helping out some hours, chopping, cooking or cleaning, you can eat for free. From 8 to 9 - 9:30 pm we are cleaning up the place. We hope to see you in our lovely foodclub <3

**Co-working for writers in Amager!** Join us for an hour of focused writing time. All writers and all experience levels are welcome and don’t worry, no one will see what you've written. This session is about getting your writing done and meeting other writers in the area. We meet in this lovely spacious café, chilled out, usually not very busy at this time, with an on-site bakery of delicious pastries. Once everyone is here and settled, I will lead a quick introduction, and then set the timer for our quiet and focused writing session. After the hour is up feel free to chat / take off / keep writing if you're on a roll. We often talk about our successes and challenges as writers, and it can be a great way to learn from eachother. **A note about the format** We don’t host critiques or readings. **Hi everyone** 👋 I’m David, and I’d love to start a social bouldering club for anyone who wants to climb, hang out, and meet new people! I will arrange a meetup climbing event every 2nd week or once a month, at different climbing gyms around the city. The focus is on: • 🧗‍♂️ Climbing and challenging ourselves • 🤝 Being social and building a fun community • 💪 Training together – all levels welcome I’ve been climbing for about 1.5 years, so I’m still in my learning phase, but I’m more than happy to help beginners get started and share the basics with anyone who’s new. We will start at **Bison in the meatpacking district the 21 February @ 14.00** o’clock. If people want, we can go for a drink or a bit of food afterwards. There will be a warm up and cool down, focusing on climbing and mobility. If you want to join in on that, otherwise drop in when ever. If you’re interested in joining, just drop a comment. Looking forward to climbing with you all! 🙌 **Short Overview of Boulder Gyms in Copenhagen and bouldering is:** **Beta Boulders** A modern and friendly gym with lots of different wall styles. Great for both beginners and experienced climbers, and there’s a nice training area as well. **Bison Boulders** Located a bit outside the city, but very relaxed and welcoming. Good variety of routes and plenty of space. A calm, nice atmosphere. **Boulders CPH** One of the biggest and most popular bouldering gyms in Copenhagen. Many routes for all levels and a very social environment. **What Is Bouldering?** Bouldering is a type of climbing done at low heights — usually up to around 4–5 meters — **without ropes or harnesses**. Instead, there are thick mats on the floor for safety. You only need climbing shoes, which you can rent, and maybe some chalk for your hands. Climbs are short “problems” or routes that you try to solve using balance, technique, and strength. Some are easy, some are challenging, and you can always choose the level that fits you. Bouldering is also very social — people often help each other, share tips, cheer each other on, and have fun together. It’s perfect for meeting new people while getting a good workout.

This season our Klangbad is going to be performed in English to include some of our many Expats in our community. The instruments are doing most of the work, but the prayer and the meditation is going to be in English. Everybody is welcome of course. It’s said that the sound of the Tibetan bowls, the shaman drum, gongs and other instruments can calibrate the nervous system and the frequencies of our organs. The topic for February is "Transitions" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect.
