\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-
This time, we'll be hosted again by **[Kraken](https://kraken.tech/)** (the clean tech company, not the crypto one) - one of the largest Django codebases and employers. Be sure to chat to them while you sample their food and drinks.
Our speaker, **Johannes Tigges**, consultant in Open Collaboration, Community Management, OSPO, spatial technologies, and DevOps, will give the main talk on: **“21 Days: The Free Beer That Turned Into a €500K Bill — and what to do about It”**
Covering SBOMs, licenses, and why FOSS isn’t always as simple as it seems.
As always, please make use of the lightning talks and talk about anything you like: a problem that you'd like help with, a thing you've built, or a hobby you like. Doesn't have to be Django, doesn't even have to be tech!
**18:30 Doors open**
**19:00 Main talk by Johannes Tigges**
**19:30 Lightning talks**
**19:45 Get eatin'**
This event is governed by the **[Berlin code of conduct](https://berlincodeofconduct.org/de/).** We want this to be a safe space for all. Any questions and concerns can always be directed towards the organizers Lara Krämer (lara.softwareengineer@gmail.com) and Markus Binsteiner (markus@frkl.dev) before, at and after the event.
**Accessibility information:** The main entrance door to the building is quite heavy and must be opened manually, as does the office door. There are a few steps leading to the elevator, along with a relatively steep ramp built into those stairs. If you need assistance, please reach out to us and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.
🎶 Techno Lovers Meetup: For Berlin’s Most Rhythmic Souls
Event will happen in 2026!(event is postponed until the third week of February as i will come back to Berlin a little later than planned…thanks for understanding!)
Techno is not just music — it’s part of Berlin’s soul. For some, it’s the reason they came here. For others, it’s what keeps them staying. Without techno, Berlin simply wouldn’t be Berlin.
This meetup is for those who feel the beat beyond the dance floor — for people who find connection, freedom, and creativity in the rhythm. Whether you go out every weekend or just love the culture, this is your space to meet other techno lovers.
Let’s gather, talk, and connect — maybe plan some club nights or form our Winter Techno Crew together. The idea is simple: to bring together interesting souls who move to the same frequency.
🎧 All techno lovers welcome — from deep minimal to industrial beats
💬 Expect chill vibes, good conversations, and potential afterparty friends

Silent Reading / Creating Club at W66 (Saturday) [Luma to RSVP]
RSVP on Luma: https://luma.com/66zp1utm
Silent Reading / Creating Club is a gathering for people who enjoy focusing together in public.
Bring a book, a notebook, a sketchpad, knitting needles — whatever you’d like to spend a quiet hour with. All projects and all participants are welcome.
This year is about creating more — quietly, consistently, imperfectly — and shaping environments that support that. If you’re building something of your own, you’re especially welcome here.
We’re building a community of readers and creators who value depth, presence, and shared silence. The magic isn’t just in the quiet hour — it’s in the people who return and make it feel like a familiar room.
(Please RSVP “yes” only if you can make it, so we can save a seat for you and others on the waitlist.)
This quiet ritual unfolds at **W66 Café**.
There’s no entrance fee, but please order at least one item from the café and don’t bring outside drinks 🙂
No assignments. No pressure. No productivity race. Just a shared hour of intentional silence, followed by relaxed conversation.
🕰 Our Agenda
**10:30 – 11:00**
Arrivals, ordering drinks/food, light social time
**11:00 – 12:00**

**12:00 – 12:30**
Optional socializing — share what you were reading or creating, or simply continue in quiet focus.
## **🏡 House Guidelines**
To keep this space calm and welcoming for everyone:
• Silence during the focus hour (no calls or conversations)
• Phones on silent mode
• If using a laptop, please avoid meetings or audio — headphones welcome

ReSee and the Zeitgeist Zentrum are teaming up for another edition of Zeit für Deutsch, our monthly, donation-based movie event taking place at the Zeitgeist Zentrum Sprachschule in Wedding.
At each event, we'll screen a different German language film and spend a little time before and after the movie chatting amongst each other, speaking as much or as little German as you'd like, and just coming together as a community for a relaxed, low-pressure movie night.

• Doors open at 2:30pm
• Film starts at 3pm
• Guests are encouraged to stick around and speak a little German after, but there's no pressure. This is 95% fun, 5% German practice :)
