Great news - **Toronto Writers Community** is having an Open Mic event (our 14th) on March 4, 2026 at the Tranzac (**292 Brunswick Ave**). At 6:00pm we begin to gather, at 6:30pm we begin to read. Welcome! Join us at the North York Centre to colour and chat. You can bring your own colouring books and colouring pencils. There’s a Dollarama across the street to buy them. If you’re coming empty-handed, no worries, you can use ours for $2 cash. You can do other art related projects such as sketching, crocheting, etc. As long as you bring your own materials :) We’re meeting at the North York Centre food court by 5:55pm, at the long table in front of the subway. This group is for badminton enthusiasts who are passionate about exploring the connections between metabolism, energy, and exercise. We are welcome beginner plus, intermediate and advance level players looking to improve your skill or a seasoned player seeking to optimize your performance on the court, this group is for you! Join us for friendly games. This badminton session is a weekly event and it is followed with dinner together but it is optional.
