En route, Lemmy meets the professor’s daughter (Anna Karina, of course), who is incapable of loving. Hi, all Independent Movie Lovers. You are invited meet at 7 pm, on Friday the 20th of February. This meeting is at the Café on the ground floor of the Light House Cinema, Smithfield Square, Dublin. We will discuss the film: **My Father's Shadow** (2025), directed by Akinola Davies. My Father's Shadow is set in 1993, and examines a family's struggles in Lagos. We will also discuss: **Apocalypse Now** (1979), directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Several versions are in circulation. It seems the Apple TV and Sky Store are showing the 147 minute cut that was essentially the original theatrical release. I think Coppola's 2019 'Final Cut' is available for rental from YouTube, and this would be the preferred cut for discussion.
