Join us for a HIIT-style hill training hike This hike is part of the **HikeFit Series**, a collection of fitness-focused hikes designed to build strength, endurance, and overall hiking fitness. We’ll challenge you with steep climbs, rugged terrain, and a high-intensity workout. This isn’t a fast-paced hike, but it is **intense**. We’ll tackle multiple **very steep hills** in intervals, with plenty of chances to catch your breath, recover, or skip hills if needed. This hike is designed for intermediate hikers, but it’s **beginner-friendly** since you can skip as many hills as you need. Guests are given a music folder and encouraged to participate in singing with the chorus in subsequent weeks. We'll be going to the festival at the Japanese Cultural Centre where we'll see plenty of things such as cultural performances, food, arts and crafts, and a tea ceremony. There will be martial artists demonstrations, there is traditional Japanese dancing and instruments such as drumming. There will be arts and crafts for sale as well as Japanese food. There is also a museum and art gallery at the centre. We go to this every year and it's highly recommended.
