Donations make Brussels Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Happen!
What we'll do
Brussels Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Fund Appeal
The Parade needs your Support!
Dear Friends of Ireland,
On Sunday 15 March 2026, the Saint Patrick's Day Parade of the Nations & Regions Committe organise their 18th annual Brussels Saint Patrick´s Day Parade of the Nations & Regions in historic streets in the city centre, safer and more event, children, and visitor friendly. The Parade assembles at Les Halles Saint Géry from 13.00 and moves off at 13.30, pass the Bourse, pass Galerie Anspach, Munt Plein and the Saint Hubert Royal Galleries, and returning to Les Halles Saint Géry. We’ll also be stopping in Grand Place where VIPs will review the parade from circa 3.30 pm from the Balcony of the two stairs at the City Hall. There will be piped and marching music and a jazz street band to play music recitals to set the atmosphere.
The 17th of March is the national holiday of Ireland. Saint Patrick's Day is celebrated in every corner of the world and parades take place in over 140 cities annually where Irish communities have settled. These global celebrations are a symbolic of the impact that a small country has had through the movement of its people.
The parade is centrally important as it brings different aspects of Irish art, music, and culture out into the public sphere and invites everyone, Irish or not, to celebrate positive values of inclusion, openness, and community.
For Brussels, the parade highlights the city's position as diverse, international capital and strengthens the bonds between two small European countries with a lot of shared history.
The Parade is the perfect platform to showcase all that the Brussels Capital has to offer in terms of its rich and varied architecture, cultural attractions, museums, art galleries, historic buildings, and its hospitality with a wide choice of hotels and enticing travel concessions. All this is enhanced by the impressive choice of restaurants with international cuisine.
The entire organisation of the Parade is organised on a volunteer basis, but such an event has administrative and material costs. Each year we rely on donations, and we hope that the same people won’t have to pay the costs each year. We need “a little help from our Irish, Belgian and international friends”. A small donation is all that it takes. The scale and size of the parade is directly proportionate to the donations we receive and the number of volunteers we have available to help organise the parade.
We want the day to be fun for all the participants and spectators, we want to put on an event that we’ll be proud to have shown on TV around the world to showcase the EU Capital and Ireland’s and other Nations and Regions active participation in the European Union, and we want it to run smoothly so we can repeat it and even expand it next year. That’s what we’re asking you to contribute to.
Participation is free and it makes a lovely afternoon family outing. Individuals, friends, work colleagues and cultural groups from all nationalities are welcome to walk in Parade. There is no participation fee. **´´Wear the Green and Be Irish for Day´´**

Belgium AI Community Building session
**Belgium AI Community - Building Together Session**
A casual event where AI and Machine Learning practitioners get to meet and exchange on projects and cool open-source AI based tooling.
**Who this is for**
AI and Data Science enthusiasts who are looking for feedback on their projects, seasoned builders who want to share their tooling with fellow AI hackers or simply curious minds looking for the next step in their AI journey.
**What we do**
We meet and exchange on projects whether they be already in flight or only getting started, we share feedback, ideas and also get our hands dirty building out our community's ideas. If you are looking for a team to enroll in a Machine learning Competition, or want help contributing to an AI-related Open-source projects, this is the place for you.
AI development is driven by real-life use-cases, and the people with ideas to apply AI are also more than welcome to come and share them with the community.
**What this is not**
While we acknowledge vibe-coding tools are a useful tool on an AI builder's belt, this meetup is not focusing on the use of vibe-coding products and starting a company from scratch, although sharing tips on customising and building upon them are always welcome.
**> Format**
**16:00 – Kickoff**
Brief intro: share what you're working on (or thinking about). We prioritise problem-solving and real-world applications. The core question: *what problem do you want to solve?*
**16:15 – Session**
Work solo or team up with others. Sessions are flexible and evolve organically around participant needs.
Tools of the trade are whiteboards, pen and paper and laptops.
The Commons Hub Brussels remains open as long as at least one member is present.
**19:30 – Wrap-up**
If time allows, we regroup to briefly present what we've explored or built. Everyone is invited to share the concrete steps taken toward their solution — and what comes next.
MIRACLE CHOICE — A GAME THAT OPENS DOORS
Hello everyone,
I’m hosting a ACIM ("A Course in Miracles") board game and dinner afternoon-evening at my home on **March Sunday 8th from 16h \~ 21h**.
This will be **"auberge espagnole"**, so bring a dish that you'd enjoy sharing with the group. : )
Here is a little bit about the game :
**MIRACLE CHOICE — A GAME THAT OPENS DOORS**
*Do you ever feel stuck, unsure, or unable to move forward with clarity? Miracle Choice invites you to explore those moments through play — and discover the inner choices that shape your life.*
*Inspired by A Course in Miracles, Miracle Choice is an experience that allows you to discover your inner choice in any moment. Playing brings individual insights, group celebrations, and feedback on your playing intention. Above all, you will have an experience of choosing Love over fear, deepening your awareness of who you truly are.* 💛
*The board game is played with a Facilitator whose presence reminds you to listen deeply to your own inner wisdom. This support creates a safe space for insights and often surprising, life-changing transformation.*
*The original game launched in 2014 and takes you on a journey to discover your inner choices. Its purpose is simple: “Choose love rather than fear and feel joy rather than pain.”*
*Each session begins with a short meditation so you can connect with your inner Guide or Teacher, followed by choosing a game intention so that the insights you receive are specific and relevant to your situation.*
*Address: La Hulpe 1310 (given to the participants)*
Please let me know if you would like to come.
Dean, an experienced learner and facilitator of « A Course In Miracles », will join us !!!
We both look forward to playing this game with you and meeting in person. : )
Warmly,
Ana & Dean
\*If you are interested but cannot make it this time, we might organize other sessions, so let us know.

Hi there curious people :)
Several of you have requested additional information about the game. Here it is:
The original game, launched in 2014, takes you on a journey to discover your inner choices. The purpose of playing is: “Choose LOVE rather than fear and feel JOY rather than pain.”It begins with a brief meditation to connect with your inner Guide or Teacher. Afterwards, you choose a game intention so that the insights received are specific and relevant to your questions.
Play is fun and dynamic. As a player, you can land on six different spaces: Needs, Body, Relationship, Identity, Choice and Miracles before you get to the Real World in the centre of the board. Cards are selected in every round. Most messages have been specially created for the game, and others are short quotes from ACIM (A Course in Miracles). The card insights are shared with the group and can relate directly or indirectly to the game intentions of all players.
Your takeaway:
\- Feeling emotionally lighter and mentally enlightened in relation to your intention/question\.
\- Feeling joyful after a nice moment of sharing with a small group of new people :\)
Looking forward to playing with you!

Columbus Comedy Improv Meetup at Gresso's!
Whether you've never done improv before, or you've done it for so long you knew Del Close on a personal level, or anywhere in between, come join us! Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup** for some fun and games!
The idea behind improv is to create entire scenes from scratch based on a suggestion from the audience. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway*, *ComedySportz*, or *Wild 'n Out*; it could also be done to tell stories, like *Middleditch and Schwartz*. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and free!) weekly comedy event, brings the games (and occasionally different forms) for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. Not only is it a lot of fun, but you get to work on thinking faster on your feet, plus it's an excellent way to meet new people and make friendships that'll last a lifetime!
Ask yourself if you want to join the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup**, and say "Yes, And" that you'll have fun!
