Come and join us for a **Free Guitar Learning Class**! Something exciting for this weekend’s guitar lesson! The class will start at 18:00 as usual and right after we will have snacks and tea and watch a short film made by a friend of mine. The movie is about Azerbaijani rock band called Coldunya (founded in the 1990s) and showcases their road to fame and current life of the band members. I haven’t watched it yet, so looking forward to sharing this moment with you. I hope to see you! And enjoy your Easter holidays! **General description of the class:** Our class is all about beginning stages: playing chords, tabs, holding guitar properly and getting the fingers ready to play. We will have enough time to cover the basics, discuss what we would like to improve and get playing at least one simple song! I also speak Hungarian, so if there is anyone who doesn’t understand English, I will translate on the go. Any newcomers are welcome and I will help you to get started and develop together with others. **What to bring:** A pen and notebook, so you can take notes as needed. Guitar (if you don't have one, you can use mine during the class, but definitely you should get a guitar later if you want to learn guitar properly). This event is totally **free of charge**, but you are welcome to donate, which helps me, the organizer, to cover the bills. Feel free to **bring your friends**. The Alliance is part of the Greater Central Ohio Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. We are an all-voices chorus dedicated to providing an inclusive environment for all those who love to sing, regardless of their race, gender identity, sexual orientation or musical background. The Alliance is the first and only all-voices barbershop chorus in Central Ohio. **Who:** Anyone with a passion for singing at a high level. Previous barbershop chorus/quartet experience not required. **When:** The Alliance rehearses weekly on Thursdays from 7pm-10pm. **Where:** Lord Of Life Lutheran Church: 2480 W Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43235 To become a full member of The Alliance, we welcome you to start by visiting us for a few rehearsals to experience the group and sing with us! Then, you may begin the 2-part audition process for membership: the assessement, and audition. We strive to make our auditions as stress-free as possible to help you let your best singing self shine.

In November 2018, Omnipresent Atheists (OA), a group that routinely meets on Tuesdays, invited AoC to merge. Omnipresent Atheists is a member of the Columbus Coalition of Reason (ColumbusCoR.org).
