đ Shamanic Drumming Journey, From Survival to Peace
On March 13, 2026, we gather under a powerful celestial alignment: Black Moon Lilith & Antares activating Venus in Aries.
This aspect invites us to soften a deeply conditioned pattern, the part of us that learned to receive love, money, safety, and abundance through struggle.
Instead of fighting for life⊠we explore how to receive from a state of inner peace.
âš This evening is a guided Shamanic Drumming Journey (Shamanic Trance Meditation) designed to help the nervous system release survival tension and reconnect with safety within.
đ Location: ESPACE44, 44 Rue de ConfĂ©dĂ©res, 1000 Brussels
đ Date & Time: 13 March 2026 - 19:30
đ¶ Energy Exchange: 30 âŹ
Registration Required: https://www.kubraozguvenc.com/event-details-registration/shamanic-drumming-journey-from-survival-to-peace
đż What Happens During the Session?
You simply lie down comfortably
Guided grounding & intention setting
Live shamanic drum journey
Deep relaxation through rhythmic sound
Integration & gentle closing
(No experience needed, everyone is welcome.)
đ Benefits of Shamanic Drumming
Research shows rhythmic drumming can:
Help shift brainwaves toward theta state (deep meditation & creativity)
Reduce stress and regulate the autonomic nervous system
Support emotional release and trauma integration
Improve relaxation and inner safety perception
Enhance clarity, intuition, and emotional balance
(Rhythmic sound stimulation has been associated with changes in brainwave activity similar to meditation and trance states.)
âš This Event Is Especially Supportive If You:
Feel tired of constantly striving or fighting for results
Experience emotional or financial survival patterns
Want deep nervous system relaxation
Seek grounding, clarity, or inner reset
Are curious about shamanic or somatic practices
Bring comfortable clothes, a yoga mat or blanket if you wish.
đ Allow yourself to rest instead of struggle.
đ„ Let rhythm guide you back to peace.

Silent Walk in the ForĂȘt de Soignes
We will be walking through the forest for a little over 1 1/2 hours, silently, just noticing the world around us and inside us. The idea is to experience the magic of a different type of walking, The invitation is to slow down and notice what is going on inside you and around you.
Very often people experience a closer connection with nature and with self, with sometimes surprising insights.
*Please make sure you are fit enough to go the 4.5 km distance. We will be walking slowly, but we will not take any breaks.*
We will be meeting at the Hermann Debroux Metro at **14h**. (Exit straight ahead after leaving the platform--on the Loxam side).
If you RSVP as coming, please be on time. We will be starting our walk from there 5 min. after the hour sharp.
There is the renovated Maison de Prieur at the exit of the forest where we could gather for a drink or a meal after our walk, depending on what you feel like.

We mostly speak English, but people in the group are very international and speak many languages. Looking forward to seeing you.
âš Northern Lights in Iceland
This is itâthe ultimate window to see the Northern Lights at their strongest in our lifetime. The Sun is reaching the peak of its 11-year cycle, and 2026 will be the final year of maximum activity before the auroras fade in intensity for a decade.
Weâre heading to Iceland during the new moon and spring equinox (March 17â23, 2026)âa cosmic alignment that gives us the highest possible chance of seeing the skies explode with color.
đ Whatâs included

Humanist Program: Fighting the Efforts to Insert Religion into Public Education
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.
Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk.
Our March speakers are Molly Gaines and Zack Parrish, co-organizers of the Secular Education Association:
They will share their story of how a small group of Ohio parents grew into a national organization tracking released-time religious instruction and other churchâstate issues in public schools. The presentation will cover SEAâs early wins and hard lessons, what weâre seeing nationally right now, and how local advocates can play a meaningful role in protecting public education. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of the landscape â and practical ways to get involved.
Going forward our meetings will be hybrid. You can meet us in-person or attend online

COUNT monthly event: Kitchen service at Van Buren Center's shelter
Come assist Van Buren Shelter (https://ymcacolumbus.org/locations/vanburen) staff in serving dinners and cleaning up on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Dinner for the women is 5-6 pm and for the families is 6:15-7:15 pm. There is ample free parking available in the shelter's lot. The recommended area to park is in green in the image above.
There will be a new entrance for the time being. We are asking all volunteers to enter through the Donation Dock door, the orange mark on the image above. This door is located between the Single Adults and Family Shelter. You will see 2 large garage doors with a large green trash compactor in the center. Please head to the closest garage door to the building wall, with a ramp leading up. There, you will see a door with a sign stating instructions on how to enter the building. Please ring the doorbell, and a staff member will come and escort you into the building. If a staff member takes longer than 5 minutes, please call the front desk at 614-689-2020. This is a new process for us, and we do not want to keep you waiting! We appreciate your patience as we navigate this temporary change.
The shelter needs a volunteer count the day before the event so sign-up ends Monday at 4:50 PM. Afterwards some of us go to the Omnipresent Atheists Weekly Meetup in progress to have a bit to eat or drink (http://www.meetup.com/omnipresentatheists/).
Volunteers must be 14 or older. Since we will be working around families, the YMCA does not permit volunteering by individuals with convictions for violent or sexual crimes. The YMCA reserves the right to run background checks on volunteers.
For questions, comment on this page or contact: Andrew, awhit12@yahoo.com, (614)937-5802 (cell). Please let Andrew know if you volunteer anytime other than our COUNT events so that he can count your hours toward our service record.

Engaging in menâs work is the new way to forge friendships while being open-minded to personal growth. Many men experience healthier relationships, personally and professionally, by engaging in this work.
Open Menâs Group is a container for men to share vulnerably without receiving judgment or feedback.
We believe that emotionally mature, powerful, compassionate, and purpose-driven men will help heal some of societyâs deepest wounds. We support the powerful brilliance of men and we are willing to look at, and take full responsibility for, the pain we are also capable of creating â and suffering. We care deeply about men, our families, communities, and the planet.
