**ABSTRACT**
**From Curiosity to Capability: Build Your First Home Lab**
A home lab is a personal computing environment you build and run yourself — a sandbox to experiment, break things, and learn. In this workshop, we explore why building one at home is one of the most practical ways to develop real cybersecurity skills, bridging the gap between textbook knowledge and hands-on capability. We will walk through how home lab concepts map directly to professional cybersecurity environments, and demystify the core terminologies you will encounter along the way — SSH, NAT, VLANs, IP and DNS, virtualisation, Docker, and remote access. Whether you are a student, a career switcher, or an IT professional looking to go deeper, this workshop gives you the foundation to start building with confidence.
**LEARNING OBJECTIVES**
* Homelab foundations + Quick Threat Modeling
* Lets build a simple DNS lab
* Monitoring logs
* What's next?
**SET UP REQUIREMENTS**
Bring your own laptops (and laptop chargers)
* Install VMware
* Download Proxmox Virtual Environment (VE) iso file and install in VMware
* Make sure to use NAT Network Mode when installing Proxmox as a guest VM on VMWare

**ABOUT**
**In association with [Women's Dev Singapore](https://www.meetup.com/women-devs-sg/), [Zenika](https://www.linkedin.com/company/zenikasingapore/) presents -** An engaging session exploring what it means to lead, build and adapt when AI becomes part of everyday work.
AI is transforming how teams operate, make decisions and build products.
**Yet the biggest challenges remain deeply human:**
* Creating conditions where **people can do their best work** — with high support and high challenge in equal measure
* **Building products that solve real problems**, not just ship solutions
* **Engaging with AI** and change with curiosity rather than fear
This session explores the convergence of three forces reshaping how value gets created today: **leadership, product thinking, and AI**. Through the lens of modern product teams and real-world experience, **[Jolyn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/jolyn-c/)** will make the case that these are no longer separate conversations.
Participants will walk away with three honest questions every leader and builder should keep asking themselves:
* **Lead** — *Am I creating conditions where people can do their best work?*
* **Build** — *Am I solving real problems or just shipping solutions?*
* **Adapt** — *Am I engaging with change with curiosity or with fear?*
The future belongs not to those with the most information, nor to those who fear disruption — but to those who stay human at the centre of it all.
Join us for an evening of honest insights, practical frameworks and real-world stories for navigating the future of leadership and product in an AI-enabled world.

STACK Meetup [AI]: Delivering AI as a Capability
**ANNOUNCEMENT – Registration via this [link](https://go.gov.sg/stackmeetup-2jul2026-mc) only.**
Moving AI from prototype to a reliable production often raises questions about optimisation, scalability and compliance. At this STACK Meetup [AI], we strip away the hype to offer an exclusive look under the hood of PlatformAI, GovTech’s developer-first platform built to scale AI capabilities reliably for the Government.
Take a peek into how PlatformAI provides an enterprise-ready platform layer to govern and orchestrate large-scale AI model and capability deployments. Our speakers will share strategies on unifying secure model access, balancing costs using Pay-As-You-Go (PAYGO) versus Provisioned Throughput, and leveraging managed multimodal pipelines – Vision, Document, and Audio – without the overhead of maintaining fragmented infrastructure.
Walk away with fresh insights on how GovTech is democratising AI deployment at scale, whilst ensuring proper governance like prompt security, throughput optimisation, and architectural guardrails to address modern scaling bottlenecks.
**Secure your spot for STACK Meetup [AI] today: [https://go.gov.sg/stackmeetup-2jul2026-mc](https://go.gov.sg/stackmeetup-2jul2026-mc)**. Limited seats available!

AWS Security User Group Singapore: July 2026!
Hey AWS Security fam 👋
**Our goal remains the same: bring security and cloud practitioners together.**
Security is wide; cloud teams move fast. Let us meet in the middle — share what is working, what is painful, and how we can ship safer, faster.
Want to speak next time?
We are lining up lightning talks and deep dives for upcoming meetups — 30-minute sessions, interactive by design. New voices welcome: operators, builders, blue/red/purple teamers, platform folks.

Shipping AI Agents in the Enterprise ft. Prudential & AWS Speakers
Everyone is building agents. Far fewer have gotten them past the pilot and into the hands of real users inside a large organisation, where the constraints are different and the room for error is smaller. This edition of The Agentic AI Club brings together speakers who have done that, sharing first-hand what it took to move agentic AI from a working prototype into the enterprise.
## **What You'll Take Away**
* What it takes to move an agent past the pilot and into everyday use across a large organisation
* Where enterprise realities reshape the build: security reviews, legacy systems, procurement, and sign-off
* Which design choices survived production, and which ones fell over
* A sharper sense of where enterprise agentic AI is paying off right now
## **Agenda**
4:00 PM — Doors open · Registration
4:10 PM — Welcome by The Agentic AI Club
4:15 PM — Speaker sessions
5:45 PM till late — Community Mixers
