Welcome to our weekly physical or virtual Club Polyglotte meeting. * As usual, a minimum consumption of one drink or something small to eat is obligatory at Restaurant Quai Steffen at 13, Place de la gare at the Luxembourg railway station. * We start our get together at 19:00 h and finish at 22:00 h. As on every Tuesday, participate at one of the following language tables: 1. English 2. French 3. Luxemburgish 4. German 5. Spanish 6. Italian or languages like Mandarin, Russian, Romanian or Arabic, if needed. We are constantly searching for Buddies who lead the various language tables and for those who would like to participate in the organisation for our club established in 1999. L’intelligence artificielle va-t-elle petit à petit changer radicalement nos vies en nous aidant à guérir des cancers, voire à atteindre l’immortalité comme nous le promettent les prophètes de la Silicon Valley ? Ou au contraire, va-t-elle faire de nous tous des chômeurs, pour finalement nous éradiquer en tant qu’espèce humaine ? The chapter meets periodically and brings together a carefully curated group of business owners, independent and liberal professionals, sole proprietors, self-employed individuals, traders, and craftsmen. Our objective goes beyond networking, as we will work to give back to the society. To preserve the value of these groups, each chapter will have the policy of only one representative per profession. This ensures a non-competitive environment where members can openly support one another, exchange insights, and grow together. Additionally, an attendance policy will be in place to encourage commitment and continuity, ensuring that every member contributes and benefits the collective momentum of the group. At this initial stage, all participation revenues will be donated to a non-profit organization called SOS Villages d'Enfants Monde, reinforcing our belief that successful businesses have a responsibility beyond themselves. The meetings will be held every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup** for some fun and games! The idea behind improv is to create entire scenes from scratch based on a suggestion from the audience. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway*, *ComedySportz*, or *Wild 'n Out*; it could also be done to tell stories, like *Middleditch and Schwartz*. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and free!) weekly comedy event, brings the games (and occasionally different forms) for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. The topic for March is "Our Bodies, Ourselves" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills.
