Вовкулаки Долини Мельника: 100% доходу на благодійність
🇺🇦 Note: this game will be held in Ukrainian. This week, for the first time, we’re stepping outside The Art of Coffee and playing something new outdoors 🌳 No complicated rules or mechanics — just fresh air, lots of interaction, new connections, and the atmosphere of a summer game that can easily keep you hooked until the very last round. 🐺 Werewolf: The Miller’s Hollow — a legendary game of intuition and hidden roles. The concept is simple: villagers try to find the werewolves, while the werewolves secretly try to take over the village. To win, you’ll need to lie, persuade, read people, and trust your intuition. 📅 May 16, 11:00 📍 Trinity College Park, Dublin 2, D02DP29 🇺🇦 Participation is available with a charitable donation to Ukrainian Action in Ireland ⏳ Limited spots available — only 18 places 👉 Reserve your spot here: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/graforukraine/2195899?ref=meetup

Sunday boardgame meetup
Sunday boardgame meetup
Our free-of-charge meet-up in the Black Sheep Pub on Capel Street. This is a casual meet up for people who want to play boardgames. Lots of people bring plenty of games and rules will always be explained so don't worry if you're new to the hobby and you don't have anything to bring along or think you won't know how to play. The meet-up runs for the whole day but late comers always welcome, you just may have to wait a little for a game to open up but games will be starting and ending throughout the day. **IMPORTANT!** **The meet up is free of charge but we do ask that people support the bar by buying food and/or drink. The bar is very accommodating to us and it's important that we support them in return. Bringing in outside food or drink is completely unacceptable.** Check out the comments below where people will say what games they are bringing and express your interest in joining if interested. Any questions contact either of the organisers Gavin or Stephen.
Let’s play… Sol: Beyond Earth / Bam! New Skill! / Shadowdark
Let’s play… Sol: Beyond Earth / Bam! New Skill! / Shadowdark
Join us every Sunday and tell a story as a group by playing a beginner-friendly roleplaying game. Every week we have 2-3 different games - you will choose which game you play on the day. All materials provided and rules are explained at the start of each game, you just need to bring your imagination. 🎭 **This week's facilitators:** * 🧑‍🚀 **Axel** with *[Sol: Beyond Earth](https://zeruhur.itch.io/sol-beyond-earth): The Venus Incident*, a rules-light RPG set in a retrofuturistic universe. The year is 2090, in a world where the Space Race never ended and now human colonies and outposts proliferate in Earth orbit and across the Solar System. Peace between the major global powers has been maintained by the United Nations of Earth, and humanity has entered what promises to be a golden age. You are the crew of the UN survey vessel *Sally Ride*, carrying out a survey near Venus. A routine mission…or is it…? * ⚒️ **Nathan** with *[Bam! New Skill!](https://arispen.itch.io/bns)*, micro RPG based on *Roll For Shoes*. A team of young wannabe adventurers in a small farming village hear the news that a group of orphans from a nearby village have been kidnapped by goblins to mine for treasure in the mountains nearby. Not only do they want to save the day and be celebrated as heroes for rescuing these kids, but they want that sweet reward money. Our heroes can learn anything, but they have no inherent talent. * 🐍 **Adam** (me!) taking adventurers on an old-school treasure hunt in *[Shadowdark](https://www.thearcanelibrary.com/collections/shadowdark-rpg/products/shadowdark-rpg-pdf): Raiders of the Hidden Temple*. A dubious treasure map led your characters deep into the sweltering jungles of Tal-Yool. Now, a ruined temple stands before you. Do you dare enter to claim the fabled Chalice of the Blood Queen said to be guarded by the venomous viperians inside? *** Feel free to ask the organisers any questions you have (here or on our [Discord server](https://tinyurl.com/indie-rpgs-dublin)).

OLD TOWN CAFÉ Weekend Write-Together
OLD TOWN CAFÉ Weekend Write-Together
We're hosting another in-person writing session in the Old Town Café once more. What is a write-together? It's a couple of focused writing sprints (30 mins each) with breaks in between for for snacks and chats. It's a chance to get some writing done *and* to meet other writers. All are welcome, old hands and newbies alike, and you can write whatever you like. To find us, seek out the people with laptops and notebooks (and I'll have a table sign if I remember to pack it!)

Casual Boardgames - make friends, then beat them in games
Casual Boardgames - make friends, then beat them in games
Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations.
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that. We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus.
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn.
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play.
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders…
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords…
IMPORTANT:
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for.
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.
Building Momentum: From Ambiguity to Execution
Building Momentum: From Ambiguity to Execution
**Building a great product is one thing—building momentum behind it is another.** Join **Senior Product Manager Adam Solaiman** and **User Experience Manager Tyson Smith** for a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to turn complex ideas into scalable products inside large organizations. In this session, they’ll share how teams move from ambiguity to execution—navigating organizational complexity, aligning stakeholders, and continuously evolving products after launch. You’ll walk away with insights on how to: * Build and sustain momentum across teams * Adapt to changing priorities without losing direction * Scale products thoughtfully in complex environments Whether you're driving a new initiative or growing an existing product, this conversation will give you practical strategies to keep things moving forward. Come connect, learn, and swap stories with fellow product professionals. \-\-\- Food and drinks will be provided by Switchbox, our generous host. Free parking will be available at the front and back sides of the Switchbox Office.
Columbus Code & Coffee 86 @ Improving
Columbus Code & Coffee 86 @ Improving
Columbus Code & Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way. Many people (optionally) bring projects to work on, and many other people (optionally) socialize the entire time. It's entirely up to you! **What to Expect at the Intro Circle** \~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~ Near the beginning of the event (1:30 pm), we do a standup: * Organizer announcements, updates, and logistics Round 1 - (7 secs max): * Your name * What you're working on * What you can help others with Round 2: * Community events you wanna plug. If none, that's cool too. Round 3: * Job opportunities you're hiring for OR announce that you are looking for one. If none, that's cool. After the introduction circle, everything is self-organized! Feel free to work alone, pair up, attend one of our workshops/presentations, or mingle!
