Endet dein Schreiben auch oft, obwohl du noch gar nicht angefangen hast? Bevor die ersten Zeilen überhaupt auf den Tasten oder dem Papier landen, werden sie schon im Kopf zensiert und am Ende gar nicht geschrieben. Weil man es immer gleich perfekt machen will, das Geschriebene von Anfang an „gut“ sein und die Idee schon ausgereift sein muss. Wer kennt’s? Kein Wunder, dass uns das blockiert! Damit unser Schreiben wieder leicht wird, habe ich einen Workshop erstellt, mit dem wir wieder lernen, uns zu vertrauen. Lass deinen Körper seine Arbeit machen und gönne deinem Kopf mal eine Pause. Der Schreibfluss darf sich leicht anfühlen – und das Ergebnis trotzdem (oder gerade deshalb) gut werden. Unser Körper hat uns so viel zu erzählen. Wenn wir uns den Raum geben, mal wirklich hineinzufühlen, kann er ganze Geschichten erzählen. Wir müssen ihm nur zuhören. \-\-\- Does your writing often end before you've even started? Before the first lines even hit the keyboard or paper, they're already being censored in your head and end up not being written at all. Because you always want to get it perfect right away, you want what you write to be “good” from the start and the idea to be fully developed. Who hasn't been there? To make writing easy again, I have created a workshop that teaches us to trust ourselves again. Let your body do its work and give your head a break. The flow of writing should feel easy—and the result will still be good (or because of it). Our bodies have so much to tell us. If we give ourselves the space to really listen, they can tell whole stories. We just have to look closely.

**Welcome to the inaugural meeting of the International Relations / Foreign Policy Group Columbus!** This group brings together students, professionals, academics, and anyone interested in global affairs, diplomacy, and geopolitics. Our first meetup will be an informal discussion focused on current international developments and global trends. This is a great opportunity to: • Meet others interested in international relations and foreign policy • Discuss current global events and geopolitical developments • Exchange perspectives and ideas in a respectful environment • Build a network of globally minded individuals in Central Ohio (Columbus and periphery) **Discussion topics may include:** * Strategic planning for the group and the way forward * US foreign policy priorities in 2026 * Major geopolitical developments (Europe, Asia, Middle East) * Global security and strategic competition * International economic and diplomatic trends No prior expertise is required—everyone is welcome, whether you're a student, professional, or simply interested in world affairs. **This will be a casual, friendly, and intellectually engaging conversation.** I look forward to meeting everyone and building a strong international relations / foreign policy community in Central Ohio.

We'll meet at The Capital One Café, 167 Easton Town Center, Space A-103. This is in the main mall where the Microsoft store used to be, on your left if you're standing at the bottom of the AMC Theater escalator. Join us on Saturday for an hour of uninterrupted wordmaking! • What we'll do Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 10AM on Saturday mornings. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: 10:00 - SESSION 1: quick intros. 10:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour. 11:10 - chat / take off / keep writing. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 11A-11:30ish. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session.
