Welcome to the Winterthur Badminton Meetup! 🏸👊😉🍻 We’re an international group created for badminton fans in and around Winterthur. Open to Expats and Swiss folks who want to train and socialise with fellow ‘badmintonists’. Or perhaps you’d like to learn the sport and meet new people? Whether doing it for fun or fitness, the idea is to enjoy and have a great (kickass) midweek. And everyone is welcome to join us for a postgame drink or two! See yah! 😊 Important: We ask everyone to respect others who wish to play. That means dropping out if you won’t make it to the game by updating your RSVP. Keep in mind: RSVPs close at 21:00 two days before the event to give others enough time to plan. Anyone on the RSVP list who did not show up at the event is considered a "no-show". No-shows will still have to pay the shared cost of the court and shuttles. We keep track of no-shows and deprioritise them in future games. Please try your best to pay on the same day by Twint or in cash. With Twint, write in the comment the date and your name for reference. Cost will be around 12-20 CHF, depending on the amount of players joining and if we have to rent 1 or 2 courts. "Behind the Curtain" is a women’s group built around real conversations and genuine connection. It’s a place where you can show up as yourself, talk about the things that actually matter, and feel truly heard — without pressure and without judgment. We intentionally leave work, small talk and our phones at the door, making space instead for honest stories, thoughtful questions and meaningful connection. Welcome to Loki Welldone. We are an old-school basketball club. We focus on having fun playing and socializing afterwards. If you also like to play basketball, you've come to the right place! Everyone (all genders) is welcome here. We usually play every Friday from 8pm - 9.30pm in Schulhaus Kartaus. We organize ourselves through the clubs whatsapp chat, but would like to offer external people to join us. We are usually 4-10 players, playing either 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4. Changing room and showers are available PS: Many members of our club used to play in a competitve Basketball team or another sports team (ex. soccer or handball). Hello everyone, Since there will be sun, I changed the location to Zürich Buchlern. Therefore, we will also get 2 fields :) During this event, you’ll have the chance to meet new people, play friendly matches and learn the basic techniques, if you wish. This event is aimed at everyone that has never played before or a long time ago and is not sure to be able to pass the ball properly over the net or to someone. Let's meet on Court 1 and 2 at the Buchlern sports centre in Zurich. **Tips:** \- Bring a water bottle \(there’s a drinking fountain next to the courts\) \- Bring sunscreen/sunglasses/a cap \- The court can usually be watered\, except in rare cases — so it’s good to bring suitable socks if it’s hot **A few practical details and participation conditions:** \- A small contribution is required for court rental and other organisational expenses\, please pay before the event via TWINT at \+41784053495 by **writing your name and date of the event** or cash the day of the event. \- Please only sign up through Meetup for an easier organisation \- Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance if you can’t make it\, so others can sign up or I can reschedule the session \- If you don't cancel and do not show\, please cover your share to keep it fair for everyone\. **Price per person:** CHF 6.5 **!No shows!** Lately, there has been quite some no-shows. We play every week regardless how many people signed up in Meetup. Saturday morning kick about. Aim to play on small pitches, 6v6, 7v7 or 8v8. If you have bibs or a football please bring it along. The field is artificial grass. Meet in Juchhof in any of the 3 pitches depending on availability. Please remove yourself from the RSVP list by 17:00 on Friday so any waitlist players have enough time to plan to play. If you RVSP and fail to attend you will be removed from the group.

We are currently playing in a regular group of 12 players at higher intermediate/advanced level. Your registrations here will first be on the waiting list and when confirmed, payment is to be made by twint to secure your spot for participation. There is a charge of Chf 22 per person. Korfball is a dynamic, no contact, mixed gender team sport. It pulls together aspects of netball, handball and basketball to form an unique and inclusive game. We will do some exercises, practice, play some games and have fun! :) Everyone is welcome to training, no experience required. Don't be misled by the low sign ups, our regulars don't use meet-up.
