Saturday Acting Workshop - CORIOLANUS
Saturday Acting Workshop - CORIOLANUS
Following our critically acclaimed productions of OTHELLO, MACBETH and TWELFTH NIGHT the Acting gymnasium's Saturday workshop returns to Theatre Deli on Saturday 28th March with a new imagining of Shakepeare's CORIOLANUS. Plenty of superb roles available!! WE WILL PERFORM THE SHOW FROM 6TH-11TH JULY AT NETWORK THEATRE WATERLOO. Set in a post-apocalyptic landscape, Coriolanus, a fierce and proud Roman general, earns fame after defeating Rome’s enemies, especially at Corioli. Despite his military success, he despises the common people and refuses to flatter them for political gain. Urged to seek public office, his arrogance alienates citizens, leading to his banishment. In anger, he allies with his former enemy Aufidius and marches against Rome. As destruction looms, his mother, Volumnia, pleads with him to spare the city. Moved by her words, he relents, choosing honor over revenge. His decision saves Rome but seals his fate, as he is killed for betraying his allies in return. Scotland & the Lake District National Park - Easter bank Holiday
Scotland, Lake District National Park - Saturday 4th April to Monday 6th 2026 (Easter weekend) During the 3 days we will visit the most beautiful views in Southern Scotland (Dumfries and Galloway) and the Lake District National Park. Starting on Saturday morning in Scotland, this event is only suitable for members that are in or near Scotland during this period. The below itinerary is very full, so only suitable for members that are energetic and keen walkers. Easter is a great time for this adventure, not too hot for our walks and sunset is around 7:30pm so will have over 13 hours of daylight each day to explore. Saturday 4th April: Scotland: Solway coast with sea views, bays, lochs and forest trails Sunday 5th April: two Scottish walks: 1.Circular walk of Loch Trool (lake) + 2. Merrick walk Monday 6st April (Easter Monday): Lake District - Cats Bells (fantastic lake views) For the above three days event I only have 8 FREE places for members that are fit, regular walkers and have access to a car as there are no public transportation to our walks as we are in remote areas. In the Lakes you will find proper mountains, wild and rugged. We will walk along the best Lake walks, Cat Bells with Derwent Lake this walk have been voted as one of Britain’s top 5 walks. All the photos you see below are the places we plan to explore during the April event. There are no mountain climbs on this event just big hills to get to high viewpoints for the fantastic lake views. I have lead walks in the Lakes for over 20 years and believe the walks I have selected are the best for scenery. Southern Scotland (Dumfries and Galloway) Our walk in Scotland will be very contrasting to the other 2 National Park in the Lakes and Peaks, giving you a memorable experience. There will be lochs (Scottish lakes), coastal views, bay and wild Scottish forest. On Saturday our Scottish coastal walk is along the Solway coast encompassing splendid sea views, bays and lochs. On Sunday there will be two walks, the first is a circular walk around Loch Trool and is arguably the finest short 5 miles walk in the Dumfries area. We will walk around the whole lake with high hills all around. For the free offer I can ONLY send you essential details for the three hike days i.e. walk description, meeting points & kit list but cannot provide info on accommodation or transportation. Connected Westerville Night of Networking!
Connected Westerville Night of Networking!
**Connected Westerville Night of Networking** *April Edition: The Introduction Economy* You've been to the networking events. You've done the small talk. Collected the cards. Forgotten the names. And walked out feeling like you just wasted two hours of your life. The problem isn't you. It's the format. Most networking events put you in a room and tell you to figure it out. So everyone defaults to elevator pitches and business talk, and nothing real gets built. Here's the truth about networking that most people miss: Your network isn't just who you know. It's who thinks of you when they're talking to someone else. *That's* The Introduction Economy. And it only works when relationships are real. There's a reason people who come once keep coming back. It starts with seven minutes that feel nothing like networking. Then we open it up. Free networking. More conversations. More momentum. This is a room full of corporate professionals, entrepreneurs, business owners, creatives, and career builders in the Westerville and Columbus area. The mix is the magic. You might never do business with everyone you meet tonight. But someone in this room will think of *you.* **By name**. So, the next time someone needs exactly what you do, you get the recommendation. **April 14th. RSVP now.** **When:** Tuesday\, April 14th \| 6:15 PM \-\- 8:00 PM **Where:** Vineyard Community Center \| 6000 Cooper Rd\, Westerville\, OH 43081
