In einem ruhigen und behutsamen Rahmen tauschen wir uns über unsere Emotionen und unser Innenleben aus. Die Gruppe ist nervensysteminformiert und mit einfachen, niederschwelligen Übungen öffnen wir einen Raum für mehr Selbstverbindung.
Wir treffen uns im Rychenbergpark beim Konservatorium in Winterthur.
Bei sonnigem Wetter sitzen wir draussen auf Tüchern im Gras.
Wir beginnen mit einer einfachen Begegnungsübung, um ein Gefühl dafür zu bekommen, wer heute dabei ist.
Anschliessend lernen wir unsere Emotionen und Bedürfnisse anhand einer Übung besser kennen.
Hauptsächlich geht es darum, Raum für sich und sein Innenleben zu haben – im Rahmen einer freundlichen Gruppe.

Join us for our monthly "Let's Talk"—an informal evening designed to give you a breathing space, honest conversation, and genuine connection with other parents who get it.
**This Month's Focus: The Slammed Door**
We will dive into the withdrawal, the sudden need for intense privacy, and the delicate balance between giving your teen space and staying connected.
We will weave into the conversation some practical, Relational Leadership input on how to navigate this phase without taking it personally, and how to keep the lines of connection open even when the door is physically shut.
**What to expect:**
* **Come as you are:** It is a space to drop the mask and be real about the ups and downs of raising adolescents. All feelings and experiences are welcome here.

Este encuentro nació con la intención de escucharnos entre mujeres desde los temas que más nos unen y nos atraviesan.
Desde la intimidad de una conversación, sentadas en el sofá de un restaurante, deseo abrir un espacio cuidado donde podamos reencontrarnos como mujeres. Un espacio para mirar nuestra relación con nosotras mismas, con nuestra imagen de mujer, y comenzar a sanarla.
Abordaremos temas que muchas veces han sido tabú: la sexualidad, la menstruación, el cuerpo femenino y nuestra forma de habitarnos. Un recorrido para deshacer miedos, soltar vergüenzas y volver a escuchar el cuerpo desde lo que realmente nos hace bien.
El encuentro del 18.04 es un evento gratuito informativo que abre la puerta a un proceso de cuatro encuentros en el bosque, de mayo a junio. Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance.
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues.
So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them?
That is what this meeting will be all about.

We have never until now featured Zinfandel, the ubiquitous California grape with the Dublin Wine MeetUp Group. At its best Zinfandel, is rich, voluptuous, with great depth of red and blue fruits. Jammy and hedonistic are common descriptions Each person should bring one bottle of an quality Zinfandel wine; be creative and quality conscious, with some bottle age if possible. Turley, Martinelli, Biale, Seghesio, Ridge, Hartford Bedrock, Carlisle, Klinker Brick, Frog's Leap, and anything from the Rockpile vineyard is likely to be very good to great. The Prisoner wines began as a Zinfandel blend. Also bring a protein based appetizer to share and **a wine glass for your personal use.** Cheese and meats are best with these wines. There will be a gas grill behind the clubhouse to grill.
We’ll gather at the Oak Creek clubhouse, where the Dublin Wine Group, hosted by Thom and supported by Timothy, will take it from there.
Come join us for a fantastic mix of great wine, food, and even better company! The evening wraps up at 10 PM.

This month's prompt concerns the idea of the “warrior philosopher” (seemed appropriate in these times)--that is someone whose understanding of violence, power, and justice is forged through direct experience of war. We are looking at Major General Smedley D. Butler, a highly decorated U.S. Marine raised in a Quaker (pacifist) tradition who later became a prominent critic of American militarism (there is a wonderful biography of Gen. Butler called "Gangsters of Capitalism")
Butler's argument in *War Is a Racket* (1935): that many U.S. interventions were driven less by national defense than by corporate and financial interests, with Butler portraying himself as an enforcer for business and Wall Street. We can consider the moral ambiguity of his insider critique—whether complicity strengthens or undermines credibility and also consider some of the concrete reforms he proposed (e.g., “conscript” capital before soldiers, restrict the military to coastal defense, and have only those who fight decide on war).
Butler’s life arc clearly changed from pacifist upbringing to warrior to antiwar crusader—and asks whether true understanding of peace requires firsthand knowledge of war, and what that implies about the cost of suffering. So do we need to suffer to understand suffering? Do we have to experience war to appreciate peace? As one more question: in the movie "A Few Good Men" Jack Nicholson's character says that "you have the luxury of not knowing what I know" so do most of us go through life oblivious to real violence and suffering?
