We’ll be working together **to remove invasive and non-indigenous plants** that threaten the native ecosystem. These species spread aggressively and outcompete the plants that local wildlife depends on. This time, we will focus on removing the **Butterfly Bush (Buddleja**). Although it provides nectar for adult butterflies, it is not a host plant for most native caterpillars. When invasive plants replace native vegetation, butterfly diversity declines and disrupt local ecosystems. Before we begin, **Stadt Zug Werkhof** will give a short introduction about the environmental impact of invasive plants and why removing them matters.
