Hello dear Challengers,
if you wish to join the Limmat swim and strengthen your body, join me to that swim. I will give you a short introduction on the "why" you should do it and then you will tell me if you want to do it. I am a trained lifeguard (SLRG), I did also the Hypothermia Module and I am swimming in the cold since 2015.
Take with you all the necessary to swim, flip/flop, safe buoy (something like the orange donut here below, if you have it) and a Thermos.

Wir beobachten das Wasser. Wellen, Lichtreflexe, Strukturen unter der Oberfläche. Wir nehmen uns Zeit für Details: abgeblätterte Farbe, Spuren des Sommers, leere Stege, ruhende Treppen ins Nichts. Die Kombination aus natürlicher Dynamik und stiller Architektur eröffnet spannende Kontraste.

"Lila" bedeutet auf Sanskrit "Spiel" und lehrt uns, das Leben spielerisch zu betrachten und jeden Moment anzunehmen. Dieses Konzept, das 1975 durch Harish Johari im Westen bekannt wurde, basiert auf vedischer Philosophie und analysiert die 72 grundlegenden Zustände des Bewusstseins, die den 72 Lila-Spielplätzen entsprechen. Das Lila-Spiel ist ein Werkzeug zur Selbsterkenntnis, das den Spielern hilft, ihren Lebensweg zu reflektieren und gegebenenfalls anzupassen. Durch Würfeln und die Interaktion mit karmischen Kräften bewegen sich die Spieler durch verschiedene Bewusstseinsebenen, bis sie das kosmische Bewusstsein erreichen, um unsere eigenen Muster und Verhaltensweisen zu erkennen und zu verändern. Das Leela-Spiel wird auf einem grossen Feld mit 72 Feldern gespielt, das verschiedene Lebensphasen widerspiegelt. Jedes Feld steht für einen Energietyp, einen Bewusstseinszustand oder eine Entwicklungsstufe, die wir im physischen Leben erleben. Die Herausforderungen im Spiel spiegeln die Prüfungen des realen Lebens wider und ermöglichen es, Erkenntnisse schneller zu gewinnen. Die Teilnehmer werden von spirituellen Führern begleitet, die beim Würfeln und beim Erreichen der relevanten Felder unterstützen. Erfahrene Lila-Leiter leiten das Spiel, stellen präzisierende Fragen und helfen den Spielern bei ihrer inneren Transformation. Das Spiel bietet die Möglichkeit, verschiedene Lebenswege zu erkunden und neue Lösungsansätze zu finden, ohne die Risiken des realen Lebens einzugehen. Während einige Spieler schnell durch das Spiel gehen, hängt der Fortschritt nicht von Wahrscheinlichkeit ab, sondern von der Klarheit der eigenen Absichten. Das Spiel kann still oder mit verbaler Absicht gespielt werden, was zusätzliche Bedeutung und Antworten bringt. This time we are playing "Blood on the Clocktower" again (because it was so much fun last time). It's a social deduction game similar to Werewolf with a lot of bluff and betrayal. Sounds interesting? Or ever wanted to learn it? This is your chance, new joiners are highly welcome. We are starting at 14:00, but a later drop-in is also possible, the game is designed to allow this and anyway multiple sessions will be played that day. Ideally reserve your own seat in advance to ensure to be part of the fun. English is mandatory for this game, but don't be afraid, none of us is a native english speaker so the expectations are not very high, just enough to read the game's help sheet, to communicate and to pretend to be on the "good side" ;-)

Zurich Kundalini Yoga/Meditation (Donation Basis)
Dear All,
This session is mainly for the people who want to learn kundalini yoga/meditation in a traditional way. Traditionally the master will transfer his/her kundalini energy to the student to activate his important chakras (energy centre) including Third Eye and Crown Chakra. The student can start to feel his/her Kundalini Energy is rising from their base of the spine and feeling the energy vibration(Consciousness) in the third eye (the space between the eyebrows) from the Kundalini Activation. This session is helpful for the beginners who want to learn simple yoga-meditation exercises also.
This is a general session to experience your inner kundalini energy. But if you need proper kundalini activation(Shaktipat), then pre-registration is mandatory.

**About the Teacher who conducts this session:**
The kundalini wisdom teacher Jayaprakash is from India. He is practising kundalini yoga for the since 2005 under the guidance of Self Realized Indian Master "GuruMahan". He is teaching kundalini yoga since 2008 as part of a non-profit organization "Maha Shakthi Yogam Switzerland". He teaches Yoga/Meditation/Pranic Healing/Stress Relief courses in various places of Germany and Switzerland. He is the authorized kundalini yoga wisdom teacher from UPF(India) to give kundalini initiations (Shaktipat) with the Grace and Protection of his Master.
All these events are conducted for non-profit purpose. Donations are collected on behalf of Swiss non-profit organization (Verein) "Maha Shakthi Yogam - Switzerland"

**About Kundalini Shaktipat:**
In every human being there is a source of natural energy that the yogis call the kundalini. In order to evolve in the yogic path, no matter what our path, the kundalini must be active.
For most of us, the kundalini lies dormant at the bottom of the spine in the base chakra known as the Muladhar. When it awakens, it ascends through the chakras until it reaches the highest chakra, the Sahasrar. When that occurs, we merge with our True Self and attain SELF realization (our true nature).
Shaktipat is the transfer of spiritual energy from the teacher to the student in order to awaken the kundalini. This process is compared to lighting one candle with another that is already lit and glowing. When the teacher is connected with the fully realized master and the energy is completely within his or her control, shaktipat initiation ensures that the student’s energy will remain active and stable. "Electricity is present everywhere, but there can be light only when the switch is turned on. Similarly the true master manifests the consciousness in the disciple through shaktipat.”

We gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the tone. Everyone shares: your name, what you're grateful for, and your topic. That's it. 60 seconds.

We walk 5 miles. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time, pulled by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on, just say: "I'm going to float!"

Columbus: A Study In Psalms--Psalm 3 and 4
Most people would agree that a great night's sleep is one of the sweetest experiences in life. Crawling into a wonderfully comfortable bed, drifting off to peaceful slumber, and awaking, feeling refreshed, energized, and ready for the day is a gift everyone welcomes. Unfortunately, nights of perfect sleep and restfulness can seem scarce. Particularly, during the truly hard times in life, good sleep can seem an impossibility.
The ancient shepherd-crowned-king, David, knew more than the average person about the challenge of getting a good night's sleep in the midst of being falsely maligned, hunted by enemies, and attacked by those who wanted him dead. He understood the terror of running for his life, and having thousands call for his death. What was his answer? Where could a man on the run find peace? What hope was there for a person in such circumstances?
David's hope and peace were found in the One Who he knew was Perfect Truth, Justice, Mercy, and Grace, the God Who had delivered His people before and Who would do so again, and again, and again. Because of God's provision David twice details that even in the midst of his enemies, he would "lie down and sleep, and wake again."
