AI & Coffee — OpenClaw, Agentic AI, and More
AI & Coffee — OpenClaw, Agentic AI, and More
**⚡ AI & Coffee — OpenClaw, Agentic AI, and More** The conversation is shifting. We are moving beyond "chatting" with AI to building **AI Agents** that can actually execute tasks on our behalf. Join us on **Wednesday, March 4th**, as we explore the rise of Agentic AI and the tools leading the charge. We will be deconstructing the hype around **OpenClaw** (the open-source agent that recently exploded on GitHub) and discussing the broader landscape of autonomous assistants that can manage our calendars, clear our inboxes, and write code independently. **Why are we meeting to talk about this?** * **The Shift to Agency:** What is the difference between a "chatbot" and an "agent," and why does it change everything for productivity? * **The OpenClaw Viral Moment:** Is the hype around this open-source "Jarvis" justified, or is it a security nightmare? * **Agentic Frameworks:** Beyond OpenClaw, what other tools (like CrewAI, AutoGPT, or LangChain agents) are actually being used in real business settings? * **Privacy & Control:** The trade-off between giving an AI agent full access to your files versus the convenience of total automation. **Details:** 📅 **Wednesday, March 4** ⏰ **19:00 – 21:00** 📍 ** SixtyFour° Bar - 6 Rue du Fort Niedergruenewald, 2226, Kierchberg Luxembourg 🎟️ **Free to attend** (Drinks/food at own expense) **Who’s welcome?** Professionals, developers, entrepreneurs, and the simply curious. Whether you’re looking to build your own agent or just wondering how "Agentic AI" will impact your daily work, you are welcome here. No deep technical expertise is required—just an interest in where AI is headed next. **What to expect:** * A relaxed, open-circle discussion (no formal presentations). * Practical insights from community members who are experimenting with agents. * High-quality networking with Luxembourg’s AI community. Bring your curiosity, your questions, and your perspective on the future of autonomous AI. See you in the Grund! ☕✨ *** ## **Quick Note on Agentic AI** Unlike standard LLMs that wait for your next prompt, **Agentic AI** systems use "reasoning loops" to break down complex goals into smaller steps and use tools (like your browser, email, or terminal) to finish the job. This is currently the most active frontier in AI development.
Open Doors - Networking Meeting - Luxembourg Centre
Open Doors - Networking Meeting - Luxembourg Centre
The chapter meets periodically and brings together a carefully curated group of business owners, independent and liberal professionals, sole proprietors, self-employed individuals, traders, and craftsmen. Our objective goes beyond networking, as we will work to give back to the society. To preserve the value of these groups, each chapter will have the policy of only one representative per profession. This ensures a non-competitive environment where members can openly support one another, exchange insights, and grow together. Additionally, an attendance policy will be in place to encourage commitment and continuity, ensuring that every member contributes and benefits the collective momentum of the group. At this initial stage, all participation revenues will be donated to a non-profit organization called SOS Villages d'Enfants Monde, reinforcing our belief that successful businesses have a responsibility beyond themselves. The meetings will be held every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Members will be encouraged to purchase drinks from the venue as they will be hosting the place at no charge for the club. **Agenda outline:** • People registration and welcome (10 min) • Introduction of the agenda (2 min) • Individual presentation (2 min p/person) • Speech of the day (5-10 minutes) – Given only by oficial members • Referrals and testimonials (5-10 min) • End of the session / Open Networking (10-20 min) **Investment packages:** 3 months: EUR 59 Half year: EUR 99 Yearly: EUR 179 As places are strictly limited, we strongly encourage you to confirm your participation as soon as possible if you wish to join us. Non-members are welcome to participate twice without being official members. For membership instructions, please contact the event organizer. Warm regards,
Climate Justice Book club : a new book to read
Climate Justice Book club : a new book to read
Climate change is a big issue: you can ignore it, downplay it, hate it, or try to understand it in order to tackle it Whether you are a casual reader or a real bookworm, come and join our book club where we will read a whole book together by sharing it (a collective reading method known as ‘arpentage’ in French). We will explain everything when you arrive! After having read “Braiding Sweetgrass” from Robin Wall Kimerer and “Not the end of the World “from Hannah Ritchie, and “How to blow up a pipeline” from Andreas Malm this year we propose you to carry on with : **Climate Justice : What rich nations owe to the world and the future** by Cass R Sunstein If you’re injuring someone, you should stop—and pay for the damage you’ve caused. Why, this book asks, does this simple proposition, generally accepted, not apply to climate change? In Climate Justice, a bracing challenge to status-quo thinking on the ethics of climate change, renowned author and legal scholar Cass Sunstein clearly frames what’s at stake and lays out the moral imperative Interested ? **Please register** at the following address: bookclub@citim.lu

Humanist Program: Fighting the Efforts to Insert Religion into Public Education
Humanist Program: Fighting the Efforts to Insert Religion into Public Education
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk. Our March speakers are Molly Gaines and Zack Parrish, co-organizers of the Secular Education Association: They will share their story of how a small group of Ohio parents grew into a national organization tracking released-time religious instruction and other church–state issues in public schools. The presentation will cover SEA’s early wins and hard lessons, what we’re seeing nationally right now, and how local advocates can play a meaningful role in protecting public education. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of the landscape — and practical ways to get involved. Going forward our meetings will be hybrid.
