Quantum Thinking: Physics, Consciousness and the Supernatural (Tickets on Luma)
Quantum Thinking: Physics, Consciousness and the Supernatural (Tickets on Luma)
**What if the most useful tools for navigating our future world aren't from business schools or consultancies, but drawn from quantum physics, metaphysics and extra-dimensional sources?** **[Tickets must be purchased in advance via LUMA - from 9 Euros.](https://luma.com/dplywd1n?utm-source-meetup)** There’s no doubt that we are living through a period of profound disruption to humanity. From rapidly changing geopolitics to AI, we can often find ourselves confused or concerned with the implications and our own survival. With so much uncertainty and change, how do we stay grounded to make decisions that move us toward better outcomes? In this Growth Lab LIVE session, designer, futurist and author, Phil Balagtas explores how engaging with these questions can expand our thinking and unlock an alternate ambitious and optimistic approach for how to think about the future. Advancing research on consciousness, quantum physics and non-human intelligence have quietly influenced how scientists, researchers, technologists and futurists are thinking about and understanding the world around us. They’re shaping the newest technologies on the horizon and awakening us to possibilities that are beyond anything we can imagine. In this session, we’ll draw on these theories to provide new inspiration for ways to navigate uncertainty and the rapidly changing reality we are witnessing. Ultimately, we’ll offer a new perspective that can help us imagine and work toward more preferable futures for our businesses, communities and ourselves. We'll explore: • What are some basic foundations about quantum physics and how its being used today to advance computing • How consciousness and our perceptions of reality can be shifted based on quantum principles • The strange and beautiful phenomena that is being documented and disclosed that could potentially shape a future where humans are not the most intelligent species on the planet **About the speaker:** Phil is a designer, strategist and futurist based in Barcelona. He has over 25 years of experience designing digital products, services and strategies for a variety of devices and platforms. How to Structure Your Product So It Can Grow - A 2-Hour Workshop
How to Structure Your Product So It Can Grow - A 2-Hour Workshop
**🎟 Get Your Ticket: https://bit.ly/pixipap-product-structure** **Overview** From Idea to Product Series #3: A 2-Hour practical workshop to design a clear product structure and avoid future complexity **Description** As digital products grow, something almost always happens: Complexity increases. New features are added, capabilities overlap, and the product becomes harder to understand, maintain, and evolve. Many teams focus on building features but rarely stop to think about how the product should actually be structured. Without a clear structure, even great ideas can turn into products that are difficult to scale. In this practical workshop, we will explore how to design a clear structure for your product so it can grow without becoming unnecessarily complex. You will learn how to think in terms of product capabilities, domains, and structure, rather than isolated features. **What You’ll Learn** This workshop is part of the Product Building Series. Together, the three workshops provide a complete path from idea → product scope → product structure, helping you move from concept to a clear and scalable product. In this workshop we will explore: • Why product complexity appears as products grow • The difference between features and product capabilities • How to organize capabilities into a clear product structure • How good product structure helps teams scale and evolve their products. Through practical examples, you will see how successful digital products are structured around clear capabilities rather than a collection of disconnected features. **What You’ll Leave With** Participants will create a Product Capability Map for their product idea or existing product. By the end of the workshop you will have: ✔ A clearer understanding of your product’s core capabilities ✔ A simple Product Capability Map for your product ✔ A better structure for organizing future features ✔ A practical way to reduce complexity as your product grows. **Who This Workshop Is For** This workshop is ideal for: • founders and startup builders • people building new apps or SaaS products • indie hackers and makers • product teams designing new functionality. No technical background is required. **Workshop Agenda (2 hours)** 1.Welcome & Introduction Why product complexity appears as digital products grow. 2.Why Features Alone Don’t Scale Understanding the limitations of feature-based thinking. 3.Product Capabilities & Structure How successful products organize capabilities and domains. 4.Real Product Example A breakdown of how a real product is structured. 5.Practical Exercise Create a Product Capability Map for your own product. 6.Discussion & Insights Participants refine their product structure. 7.Wrap-Up & Next Steps **What to Bring** Bring a product idea, app idea, or product you are currently building. You will apply the framework directly to your product during the workshop. We kindly ask participants to arrive about 10 minutes earlier, as the workshop will start promptly at 18:30. **Format** - Interactive workshop - Small group discussion - Practical exercise After the workshop, participants are invited to continue the conversation during an informal **networking session** at Sisi Bar on the top floor, where we can share experiences and enjoy the beautiful views of Barcelona together. 🎟 **Get Your Ticket:** https://bit.ly/pixipap-product-structure

De su web: Gemma 4 introduces key capabilities and architectural advancements: Reasoning – All models in the family are designed as highly capable reasoners, with configurable thinking modes. Extended Multimodalities – Processes Text, Image with variable aspect ratio and resolution support (all models), Video, and Audio (featured natively on the E2B and E4B models). Diverse & Efficient Architectures – Offers Dense and Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) variants of different sizes for scalable deployment. Optimized for On-Device – Smaller models are specifically designed for efficient local execution on laptops and mobile devices. Increased Context Window – The small models feature a 128K context window, while the medium models support 256K. Enhanced Coding & Agentic Capabilities – Achieves notable improvements in coding benchmarks alongside native function-calling support, powering highly capable autonomous agents. Native System Prompt Support – Gemma 4 introduces native support for the system role, enabling more structured and controllable conversations. Aunque el taller es gratis, el local exige un consumo mínimo por persona de una pizza y una bebida, aprox 14 €. HTML5 Master Series (Class 03 of 04) (SPECIAL OFFERING)
HTML5 Master Series (Class 03 of 04) (SPECIAL OFFERING)
**PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT NOTES:** 1. The dates listed for this series are about 95% reliable. We are completing our 2026 schedule as we speak, so minor adjustments are still occurring. 2. Each class in this series has an attendance fee, though this first offering is free on a first-come, first-served basis. 3. Each class, from BOTH a sign-up and fee perspective, is a separate entity. **Introduction:** HTML5 is the foundational technology for modern web development, serving as the standard markup language for structuring and presenting content on the World Wide Web. Developed through a collaboration between the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Web Hypertext Application Technology Working Group (WHATWG), HTML5 provides a robust system of elements (tags) that tell a browser how to display text, images, and multimedia in a clear and meaningful way. It works in concert with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for presentation and JavaScript for interactivity, forming the core technology stack for virtually all websites and many web applications today. One of the significant advancements of HTML5 is the introduction of powerful new features and elements designed to improve functionality and simplify development. Key additions include native multimedia support via the \ and \ tags, allowing developers to embed media without third-party plugins. It also offers new form controls for better user input, such as date and email types, and introduces web storage capabilities to store data offline for enhanced performance. These features streamline the process of building rich, interactive web experiences. A significant focus of HTML5 is enhanced semantics and better structural organization of content. New semantic elements like , , , , and \ provide meaningful structure to documents, which aids in search engine optimization (SEO) and improves accessibility for assistive technologies. These elements define different parts of a webpage (e.g., a header for the top, a nav for navigation links, a footer for the bottom), making the code more readable and understandable for both developers and machines. This emphasis on clear structure helps in creating more logical and maintainable websites. Developing websites in today's competitive environment requires taking advantage of every technique you can to get the maximum exposure possible. Our HTML5 class will not only show you what's new in the HTML specification, but also the best way to develop optimized web pages that get the attention your client and/or company requires. **The breakdown of the four-class series is as follows:** **Class 1: Introduction to Web Structure and Basic HTML5** This class introduces the core concepts of web development, the history of HTML, and the fundamental structure of an HTML5 document. * **Topics**: * **Web Architecture Overview**: How browsers, servers, and web pages interact. * **HTML Fundamentals**: Understanding elements, tags, and attributes. * **Basic Document Structure**: Using !DOCTYPE html, html, head, and body. * **Text Formatting**: Headings (h1 to h6), paragraphs (p), and text-level semantics (e.g., strong, em, br). * **Lists and Links**: Creating ordered (ol) and unordered (ul) lists, and linking between pages using anchor tags (a). * **Activity**: Students create a basic personal webpage containing text, a list of hobbies, and a link to an external website. **Class 2: Semantic HTML5 and Multimedia Integration** Class 2 focuses on modern HTML5 elements that provide meaning (semantics) to content, improving accessibility and search engine optimization. It also covers adding images and multimedia. * **Topics**: * **Semantic Elements**: Understanding and implementing elements like header, footer, nav, section, and article. * **Images**: Adding images using the img tag and attributes like src, alt, width, and height. * **Multimedia**: Embedding audio and video content using the audio and video tags. * **File and Folder Structure**: Best practices for organizing project files and managing file paths. * **Activity**: Students refactor their Class 1 project to use a proper semantic layout and add an image and a link to a video file. **Class 3: Forms and User Input** This session is dedicated to building interactive HTML5 forms, which are essential for capturing user data and input. * **Topics**: * **Form Basics**: Using the form element, action and method attributes. * **Input Types**: Exploring various input types (e.g., text, password, checkbox, radio, date, submit). * **Form Elements**: Utilizing label, textarea, select, option, and button. * **Client-side Validation**: Implementing HTML5 validation attributes like required, minlength, and pattern. * **Activity**: Students build a complete contact form with different input fields, radio buttons, and basic HTML5 validation. **Class 4: Introduction to CSS3 and Basic Styling** The final class introduces Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to style the HTML content and make the web pages visually appealing and accessible. * **Topics**: * **CSS Fundamentals**: The role of CSS, selectors, properties, and values. * **Integrating CSS**: Using inline, internal, and external style sheets. * **The Box Model**: Understanding margin, padding, border, and content for basic layout. * **Basic Styling**: Changing colors, fonts, and text alignment. * **Accessibility Basics**: Identifying principles of web design usability and accessibility, including ARIA labels. * **Activity**: Students apply an external CSS file to their Class 3 form project to style the layout, colors, and fonts, culminating in a well-structured and styled webpage.
