Genau diese frei verfügbaren Informationen machen sich Angreifer im Rahmen von Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) zunutze, um gezielte Angriffe vorzubereiten, ohne dabei technische Schutzmechanismen direkt angreifen zu müssen. In diesem Talk wird gezeigt, wie einfach es für Angreifer ist, Unternehmen allein auf Basis öffentlich verfügbarer Daten zu analysieren und zu kompromittieren. Nach einer Einführung in die Grundlagen von OSINT und die typischen Phasen eines OSINT‑Prozesses werden verschiedene Techniken vorgestellt und eingeordnet.
