Workshop: Your Inner Calling - MĂ€nnergruppe Berlin "Men with Courage"
Was du dabei entdeckst, lĂ€sst sich schwer in Worte fassen.

Hi, This is Sagar here. This is my first ever group and just the second event. The point is: to come open-minded and look forward to meet some Berliners interested to learn, grow and build. Or help others to Learn, grow and build. As I said earlier, I am someone with an itch to get into entrepreneurship, but lacking the exact directions, and failing myself in some of the very basic things. I am sure there are many, sailing in the same ship. Building a business needs a bit of everything : Digital literacy, knowledge of the bureaucracy, taxation, network building, social media skills, Tech- aptitude, AI-competence and what not. Lets meet and find out who can help whom with what. At the end, there is nothing to lose. We all will make friends and learn a thing or two. Cheers.
Blood on the Clocktower at Manifesto! (beginner/intermediate)
Hi folks, this is the meetup group for the weekly Sunday Blood on the Clocktower games in Manifesto at Potsdamer Platz. We run beginner-friendly and intermediate-level games throughout the afternoon and evening. **Friendly newcomers of all skill levels are welcome, no experience required!**
Our group aims to provide a fun and welcoming space to experience this thrilling game of social deception. **We focus on promoting a positive and fun group atmosphere, where players donât take themselves or the game too seriously, whether theyâre heroically winning or spectacularly losing.** Our players follow the code of conduct for the Berlin Board Gamers group and are expected to treat each other with respect and consideration â âkilling with grace, and dying with dignityâ.
We are usually able to offer two simultaneous games on Sundays. If you are marked as "attending" in Meetup and are in your seat at 15:00, your place is guaranteed for as long as you want to stay. All other seats are first come, first served. We always run at least one beginner-friendly game of the basic version of Clocktower ("Trouble Brewing") throughout the afternoon and evening. We also usually have enough players for a second intermediate-level game. If you are already very familiar with Clocktower, consider also joining our Tuesday meetup for advanced players, when we play with complex custom scripts and characters.
Blood on the Clocktower is a deep, mechanical game of murder and mystery, lies and logic, deduction and deception⊠think Werewolf on steroids. Each player receives a unique secret role and plays either for the good team â the uninformed majority, gathering info and working with others to solve the puzzle â or the evil team, the informed minority, scheming to eliminate good players and protect their demon from execution. In our beginner games no prior experience is expected and we will gladly explain the game rules to any newcomers.
We play in English so players should be able to understand and express themselves in English: an exception is possible for one pair of players willing to play together (as a âRevolutionaryâ pair) where one player can interpret into and out of English. Please let us know in advance if this is the case.
We are very grateful to the wonderful folks at Manifesto for hosting our meetup! **Please support the venue during your visit by buying drinks and/or food.**
Letâs Play Azul & CATAN - Play and socialize
Join our **CATAN** Meetup to play, socialize, and enjoy this classic board game.
Everyone is welcome, whether youâre a beginner or an experienced player. Expect fun, friendly games, plenty of laughter, and the chance to make new friends.
This is a relaxed, casual meetup: **no hardcore competition**, just friendly rivalry.
đ **Please RSVP only if you plan to attend.**
**đ Most people on the waiting list would be moved to the âGoingâ list.**
**How to Play (Quick Guide):** *** Setup: **Build the island with hex tiles, place number tokens, roads, settlements, and give each player starting resources.** *Turn order: **On your turn, roll two dice to produce resources, then trade and build.*** Resource production: **Players gain resources (wood, brick, sheep, wheat, ore) from tiles next to their settlements/cities when the tileâs number is rolled.** *Robber: **If a 7 is rolled, players with too many cards discard half; move the robber to block a tile and steal a card. *NOTE: Friendly robber rule: We play with the friendly robber rule, which means that the robber cannot be placed on a player with less than 3 points.**** Trading: **Trade resources with other players or with the bank (usually 4:1, better with ports).** *Building: **Spend resources to build roads, settlements, cities, or buy development cards.*** Victory points: **Earn points from settlements, cities, development cards, Longest Road, and Largest Army.** *Winning: **The first player to reach 10 victory points on their turn wins. *2-Hours-Max: If no one reaches 10 points by the end of the second hour, the player with the most points wins. This keeps our game capped at **two hours**. â°ïž
**Our Game Set-Up & Attendance Policy:**
1. We will have two CATAN sets available for up to six players each, assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Since each game takes a considerable amount of time, arriving after a game has already started may make it difficult to place you at a table.
3. In such cases, you may need to place your first two settlements on the remaining available parts of the mapâif space allows.
4. Please make sure to update your RSVP in advance. Failure to do so may cause unnecessary delays for everyone at the start.
5. Not showing up without notice will result in being blacklisted for at least one future meetup.

Meeting â4. AI: Between Techno-Optimism and Techno-Pessimism
âArtificial intelligence is evolving at an extraordinary pace and is already reshaping how we work, learn, create, and make decisions. Some see AI as a powerful tool that will enhance human potential and solve global problems. Others warn about risks: bias, automation, loss of control, and long-term societal impact.
âIn this meeting, we will explore AI from both perspectives â techno-optimism and techno-pessimism. What can AI actually do today? How does it work under the hood? Where are its real strengths, and where are its limitations? And how should we think about its future development?
âWe invite both professionals and non-professionals to join the discussion. Whether you work with AI, study it, are simply curious about it, or approach it from philosophy, psychology, sociology, or everyday experience â your perspective is welcome.
## **âPreparation & Suggested Materials**
âTo help you prepare, weâve put together a curated reading list that includes books, research papers, articles, interviews, and practical guides. The world of AI moves fast, so alongside well-known books you will also find recent articles and research projects.
âYou donât need to read everything. Choosing one book, article, or even a short explainer is enough to take part in the discussion. Youâre also welcome to bring your own material, as long as it relates to artificial intelligence and its societal impact.

How to Structure Real Estate Deals Using Seller Finance and Notes
Learn how seller finance and notes can create cash flow and new deal opportunities with 40-year investor Eddie Speed
**FREE TICKET** đïž https://www.eventbrite.com/e/how-to-structure-real-estate-deals-using-seller-finance-and-notes-tickets-1984826171509?aff=cicmeetupapp
Most real estate investors only know one way to make money:
Buy the property. Fix the property. Rent it or sell it.
But thereâs another side of real estate that can create cash flow, flexibility, and opportunity without only focusing on owning more property.
At this monthâs Columbus Investors Club, Tiffany and Josh High are sitting down with Eddie Speed - a real estate veteran with 40 years of experience who has closed more than 50,000 note deals. He has spent decades helping investors understand how to structure deals through seller finance and notes, and how to think more like the bank instead of just the buyer.
This will be a practical conversation around a part of real estate most people have heard about, but very few truly understand.
If youâve ever wanted to know how to create more opportunities in deals, generate cash flow in a different way, or understand how seller finance actually works in the real world, this is a night you want to be in the room for.
Youâll walk away thinking about deals differently, seeing new possibilities, and understanding how creative structuring can open doors that traditional investing alone canât.
**What Youâll Learn**
* How seller finance works in real estate deals
* How notes fit into real estate and create opportunity
* How to structure deals more creatively
* How investors generate cash flow by focusing on the payment
* How to think like the bank instead of only focusing on owning the property
* How this strategy can create flexibility in todayâs market
**Open Q&A - Ask Eddie Anything About**
* Seller finance and how to use it in real deals
* How notes work in a practical, beginner-friendly way
* Creating cash flow without only relying on rentals
* Structuring deals that others might miss
* How experienced investors think differently about financing
* Common mistakes investors make when they only focus on the property
**Why You Should Be in the Room**
Because the investors who win in the long run know how to do more than just buy houses.
They know how to structure. They know how to create terms. They know how to see opportunities other people miss.
This is the kind of conversation that can expand the way you think about real estate entirely.
Come ready to learn, ask questions, take notes, and connect with people who are serious about growing in this business.
**Reserve your free seat now - and be part of the conversation.**
