**Trip**: Christmas Family / Kids Friendly Hike with Beautiful Seaview **Where**: UAE East Coast **Difficulty Level**: Beginner. Suitable for children above 10 Years. **Trip Details**: This is a relatively easy hike on an established trail. Hike start point is about 1.5 hours drive from Dubai and any type of car can reach the start point. **Plan**: · Leave Dubai early morning around 5.00 am and reach the meeting point by 6.30 am. Park the cars at the meeting point and start the hike after a brief by our hike leaders · Hike is expected to take about 3-4 hours, and we reach back to the cars by 10.30 am or so and drive back home. **Preparation:** 1. Suitable hiking clothes (Full sleeve shirt/Top and full pants are always recommended) 2. At least 3 liters of water/fluids for the hike. 3. Fruits/Dry fruits/snacks 4. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.
