Shut Up & Write!® at Cocottes Chimay
Join us for some focused writing time. All writers and all experience levels are welcome and don’t worry, no one will see what you've written. This session is about getting your writing done and meeting other writers in your area.
When you show up, say hello to everyone, grab a drink, and get your writing tools ready. Once you’re all settled, take some time to chat with your fellow writers. Once everyone’s arrived, I will lead quick introductions and then set the timer for our quiet and focused writing session.
Afterward, we’ll have time to chat and get to know each other. We often talk about our successes and challenges as writers. If you don’t have time to stick around, no worries!
**A note about the format**
We don’t host critiques or readings. These events are a safe space for writers of all skill levels and genres to work on their craft, so no one will read or critique your writing.
For our full event schedule, visit [https://shutupwrite.com](https://www.shutupwrite.com).
**Other Important Details:**
1\. Until further notice\, this event will take place on the 1st floor of Cocottes Chimay in the city centre\. I’ve been there several times in the morning\, and it’s never busy\.
2\. I usually sit on the left\-hand side at the top of the stairs\, and you’ll be able to find me by the Shut Up and Write print on the table\. I will\, however\, always let you know in the chat below where I am\.
3\. First time? Don’t be afraid\! Everyone is welcome\! 🙂
4\. Anyone who would like to can join me for lunch or a drink at the venue\.
5\. I will bring an extension cable for anyone who needs to power up their laptop\.
If the timing of this event doesn’t suit your schedule, you could always join one of the other writing groups in Luxembourg. I currently know of only one: [Writers Who Talk](https://www.facebook.com/groups/345612909170599/)

Context for AI | Leiden AI Community Meetup
**Context is becoming the missing link that transforms powerful AI models into truly intelligent systems.**
In 2026, the next leap in AI comes from understanding *context* \- user intent\, environment\, history\, and goals\. This shift separates generic outputs from meaningful\, real\-world outcomes\.
Join this Meetup to explore why context is the foundation of more reliable, human-centered, and transformative AI. We’ll dive into the role of **knowledge graphs** and how they help AI systems make sense of complex information and connect insights the way humans do.
**16:30 - Welcome snacks and drinks**
#### **17:00 - Talk 1**
#### **Why Context Matters in AI – Grounding LLMs**
Aniket Mitra will explore how enterprise data captures the *DNA of an organisation*—the what, where, when, who, how, and ultimately the why behind decisions. He will explain why siloed data limits AI-driven decision-making, and how knowledge graphs provide a unified semantic layer that enables trustworthy, AI-powered control towers across the value chain.
**Aniket Mitra** – Aniket Mitra is the founder of Computationele Wetenschapsgroep (CW) which is a technology development SME that specialises in designing, building & scaling
Knowledge Graphs for enterprise customers across industry verticals like retail, manufacturing & logistics.
**17:30 - Talk 2**
**Building Trustworthy AI in Regulated Sectors – Moonjelly, Knowledge Graphs, and the Context Layer**
Surajeet Bhuinya will share how a dedicated context layer helps AI systems understand how organisations actually work. Using Moonjelly as a practical example, he will show how connecting people, documents, and processes into a living enterprise graph creates context unique to each industry and use case—leading to better decisions, clearer accountability, and real business impact.
**Surajeet Bhuinya** – Surajeet Bhuinya is the founder of DataPebbles, a leading Data & AI company in the Netherlands. With 25+ years of IT experience, he operates at the intersection of data, AI, and innovation, building scalable, practical AI systems that deliver measurable business impact.
He is also the founder of Moonjelly, a platform that connects people, documents, and processes into a living enterprise graph, enabling teams to understand context, see impact, and act with confidence.
**18:00 - Talk 3**
**ReviewGraph – Using Knowledge Graphs to Predict Customer Satisfaction and Extract Hidden Insights**
Lifeng Han will present ReviewGraph, a graph-based framework that transforms customer reviews into knowledge graphs to predict ratings and uncover hidden insights. He will compare this approach with traditional NLP methods and LLMs, highlighting how knowledge graphs offer strong performance with lower computational cost, greater interpretability, and promising integration with RAG systems.
**Lifeng Han** – Researcher, **[4D Picture](https://www.linkedin.com/company/4dpicture/)** Project. Dr. Han has authored 50+ peer-reviewed publications and previously worked at the University of Manchester on Healthcare NLP. His PhD focused on machine translation (ADAPT Centre, DCU, Ireland).
**18:30 - 19:30 - Networking, drinks and snack**
Project Equilibrium Private Salon: The 24/7 Trading System Walkthrough (Zurich)
## (Lesson one)
## What to expect
Project Equilibrium is an in-person introduction to disciplined, rule-based trading automation. This first event is designed to be clear, practical, and approachable—no hype, no pressure, and no prior technical background required.
### Why we meet (two-session structure)
This meetup is structured as **two lessons**:
**Lesson 1 — The “Why” (mindset + framework)**
* What Project Equilibrium is (and what it is not)
* Why we focus on process, rules, and execution discipline
* What “24/7 execution” means in practice
* Q&A and open discussion
**Lesson 2 — The “How” (step-by-step setup)**
* A simple walkthrough of the basic tools you need
* Step-by-step guidance to install and prepare the required exchange apps/accounts
* A clear checklist to be ready for future sessions
(You won’t be left alone—everything is explained calmly and in order.)
### What to bring
To make the second lesson smooth, please bring:
* **A smartphone** (for authentication and exchange app setup)
* **A laptop** (for the setup steps and configuration)
If you only have one device, you can still join Lesson 1. The setup lesson is simply easier with both.
### Who this is for
* People curious about algorithmic execution and portfolio discipline
* Beginners who want a structured approach
* Experienced traders who want more consistency and less stress
### Agenda
* Welcome + introductions
* Lesson focus of the day (Why / How)
* Guided walkthrough (where applicable)
* Q&A + next steps
### How to find the group
* Arrive a few minutes early and look for the **Project Equilibrium** group.
* I will be there to welcome attendees if you’re unsure, simply ask the venue staff for the Meetup group name.

**You will need to buy a ticket for attending -**
[https://lux31stjan.eventbrite.co.uk](https://lux31stjan.eventbrite.co.uk)
\*You can use any debit or credit card to purchase your ticket at PayPal checkout. It will ask you for your email address but that is only to send you a receipt. You do not need a PayPal account.
TICKETS:-
Early Bird - €5 / person
Regular Ticket - €10 / person
Cash at meetup: If you do not purchase a ticket in advance then you can pay Shye cash of €15 when you attend.
**Here’s how our Fast Friending works:-**
\- We will meet at 7\.00 and have time to get settle down and get a drink\.
\- From about 7\.30 to 8\.30 we will run the fast friending system\. Half of the group \(mixed gender\) will stay in a fixed place and the other half of the group \(mixed gender\) will be asked to rotate\. During these intervals\, each pair of people will get the opportunity to talk to each other\.
\- Shye will be hosting the evening and she will organize the fast friending process\. She will indicate when you should move to the next person\.
\- From 8\.30 onwards we will stop the system and people will have to chance go chat and interact with those they have met as well as others\.
If you are a bit shy or anxious then please come early. Shye will help you meet other members in a small group and help you settle down and get comfortable. All attendees are also welcome to bring a lady friend along with them for free. This will make it a lot less stressful for you as you will always have your friend alongside.
\- We are not a close knit tight group\. Our evenings are warm and comfortable for members attending for the first time and those coming alone\. You will not feel alone\!
\- We have many groups in this city\. Members of our other groups who RSVP are included as guests of the organisers in order to give you an indication of expected people\.
\- This evening is for ladies and gents in the 25 to 45 age group\. While some will be at the younger end of this range there will also be others at the other end of the range and lots in\-between\! You will naturally gel with others of your own age range and so you will always find many attendees who fit your range\.
\- We are not a dating group\. Our events are not organised to manage your dating life\. Our group is created to help ladies and gents meet other like minded ladies and gents\. Please do not attend our event if a perfect gender balance is important for your enjoyment of our meet\-up\.
Why do we have tickets?
1. Cover our costs - Our host is compensated for their time and work. We also pay meetup and have dedicated staff to manage our events, hosts, venues and communication.
2. Group Safety - By securing your ticket we have a record and you contribute to a well organized evening where everyone is more committed and better behaved.
3. Management - Tickets help us better manage attendee group size, book suitable space and activity.

Data & Analytics Wednesday - Compensation Data
**People Analytics 101: Making Sense of Compensation Data**
Compensation data is one of the most widely used and widely misunderstood forms of people analytics.
The session will cover where compensation data comes from, including market pricing data, internal payroll data, and benchmarking sources, and how companies think about structuring and analyzing that information. We will explore how compensation data is leveraged to set salary ranges, manage internal equity, support hiring and retention, and align pay with business strategy. A portion of the session will address common data challenges and limitations, such as market noise, inconsistent job matching, and incomplete datasets, while keeping the primary focus on practical use rather than technical depth.
The session will also look ahead at where the space is going, including the growing impact of pay transparency laws, expanding pay equity requirements, and emerging regulations in the US and Europe that require organizations to report on gender and pay gaps. The goal is to give attendees a clear mental model for how compensation analytics works today and why getting it right is becoming increasingly critical.
(note: we are back at Rev1 this month!)

CBusData - Ok I Want to Get Data into Fabric - Now What?
I love my job and one of the main things I do is help customers get going with any of the data technologies at Microsoft. Right now there are a lot of my customers asking about Microsoft Fabric. It's hard to weave across all the shiny new options across the Fabric landscape, let alone figure out where it fits into your organization. In this session we'll focus on answering one question - how can I get data into Fabric? We'll talk through the "it depends" options and see some of the options in live demos.
