It's a modern take on how a Scala native solution can look like, instead of copying Haskell -- this is not your grandpa's cats! The next book we're reading is centered around a mundane idea and relationship but since it's famous we'll read it. We're reading Lolita. (That's two ironic introductions to the events in a row so I will be sincere in the next one...to keep it interesting ;) We'll have a discussion around the these questions: 1. How does Nabokov use Humbert's literary sophistication and unreliable narration to manipulate reader sympathy? 2. What role does America itself play in the novel? 3. How do we see Dolores Haze as a real person despite Humbert's attempts to transform her into "Lolita"? If discussing this book in a group setting creates a mixture of uncertainty and excitement - good - you're just like us and the other millions of people who have read it. A classic Italian road comedy that was so good the film ministry recognized it as "culturally significant." Starring Vittorio Gassman and Jean-Louis Trintignant, the film shows that for young men in love the rules of the road are only suggestions. And the rules for love? Hey, this is an Italian picture!
