Wednesday Vltava Run
Wednesday Vltava Run
We are a group of runners who meet most weeks for a run around the beautiful Vltava River's edge. You can bring your running shoes straight from the office/home office if you don't have time to stop at home. There will be a place to put your bags in the Cafe. We will run about 9 km along the river and have a drink afterwards. Paces vary! We will meet in the square near Kavarna Liberal (Hermanova 6), near the Vltavska metro/tram stop at 6:30 on Wednesday. See you there!
About permaculture, agroforestry and effective action
About permaculture, agroforestry and effective action
Abstract: I'm tired to see ground that could be used for heirloom turnips (they grow better in cold and you can hardly see them in shops, there are courgettes and tomatoes in winter and spring instead..) trees and bushes being used exclusively for grass instead. Mushrooms can be grown easily and safely outdoors in wooden logs.. Some parks in several cities specially abroad but also in Czech Rep. and areas elsewhere seem to want to imitate those that were imitating Victorian times: lush huge lawns. Do we all really like grandeur without a trace of food gardens, and because that's how it's done it has to be this way? People would not take care and give continuity to small initiatives, many have been there done that. But isn't it the fault of the organization always? I think so. People like the idea of thinking outside of the box, [while being] inside the box. That just doesn't really work very well. So this is an invite, for each other to be able to know what might appeal to others in the framework of finding spaces to grow food to not need to rely so much on what one sees in the shops. 🌿🌿

Filozofická kavárna (Café Philo): přemýšlet a diskutovat
Filozofická kavárna (Café Philo): přemýšlet a diskutovat

Eros Reading Circle: Sexual myths and the Tantric Vision
Eros Reading Circle: Sexual myths and the Tantric Vision
Would you like to know more about the tantric approach and add more depth to your sexual life but don’t know where to start? Would you like to deepen the relationship with yourself or with your partner? Or maybe you just want to be able to talk about these topics openly with like-minded people? I created Eros Reading Circle because I believe erotica nowadays is very misunderstood. Fast satisfaction is the preferred way on societal level. There are plenty of negative emotions – shame, guilt, low self worth – attached to the topic of pleasure in the collective and also on the individual level. The past few years I dedicated to self-exploration and the broadening of my horizon when it comes to depths of pleasure and living the tantric approach. We gather every three weeks in a cozy tearoom in the heart of Prague (near I.P. Pavlova). You don’t need to join every time. You can attend only one session or more – each time we will cover a different topic. We don’t read full books. When you book your spot, you will receive an email with the text for the upcoming circle and 2-3 reflection prompts. We usually cover one chapter, 10 to 30 pages (written in English). You are asked to read the chapter before the session. All genders, singles and couples are welcome. Our readings explore erotica, pleasure, tantra, ecstasy, desire and the polarity of masculine and feminine energies. Some sessions focus on men’s sexuality, others on women’s, and some on pleasure as a whole. During each circle, we begin with a short grounding practice, share what resonated or didn’t, engage in discussion and end with a closing reflection. Eros Reading Circle is for you: - If you are desiring to have a more conscious sexual life - If you want to deepen your relationship to self (and to your partner) - If you would love to attract a partner who complements you - If you would like to connect and exchange ideas with like-minded people - If you want to experiment with new practices, try new things - If you would like to leave behind negative imprints attached to your sexuality - If you are interested to learn about pleasure from a more spiritual or philosophical aspect - If you have wondered what tantra is and how could you apply it in your own life - If you would love to join a circle of book lovers but can’t commit to reading long books When? 19th February, 19.00-21.30 Where? Čajovna Šamanka How much does it cost? 350 CZK Facebook event link: https://www.facebook.com/share/1GBTAgfZRP/?mibextid=wwXIfr You can book your spot after clicking to the below link: https://buy.stripe.com/14A3cu2CJ8g40dZ7Uh5Ne08 If you cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice, you can reschedule within three months. Our topic will be: Sexual myths and the Tantric Vision I look forward to welcoming you in the circle <3

Saturday running and coffee
Hi All, Come and join us for social running and a coffee! We meet at the main gate of Vystaviste - tram stop Vystaviste Holesovice. We will run in Stromovka. Usually we run around 50mins and it is up to everyone how many kilometres. We welcome all levels of runner. We can all run together or, if there is more of us, we can split into groups and at the end of the run we all meet close to the starting point to go for a coffee to a nice local coffee place (where they also sell cakes and great chocolate). Spec-Driven Development with GitHub Spec-Kit - Barret Blake
Spec-Driven Development with GitHub Spec-Kit - Barret Blake
**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you. The building address is 4450 Bridge Park The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400 You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge. **Abstract** *Spec-Driven Development with GitHub Spec-Kit: From Intent to Implementation* Spec-driven development flips the traditional workflow on its head: instead of code being the source of truth, the specification becomes the backbone of design, collaboration, and delivery. In this session, we’ll explore how GitHub Spec-Kit enables teams to treat specifications as first-class artifacts—living documents that drive architecture, implementation, and verification. You’ll learn how Spec-Kit helps teams clearly express intent using structured, version-controlled specs that live alongside code. We’ll walk through a practical workflow that starts with defining system behavior and constraints, then progressively refines those specs into testable, automatable outcomes. Along the way, we’ll show how specs can reduce ambiguity, improve cross-functional collaboration, and make design decisions explicit before a single line of production code is written. This talk will cover: --What spec-driven development is (and what it isn’t) --How GitHub Spec-Kit fits into modern developer workflows --Using specs to align product, engineering, and AI-assisted development --Real-world examples of turning specs into implementations with confidence Whether you’re building greenfield systems, integrating AI into your stack, or trying to reduce costly rework, spec-driven development offers a scalable way to move faster without sacrificing clarity. Attendees will leave with concrete patterns and a clear mental model for adopting GitHub Spec-Kit in their own projects. **YouTube Link** TBA

We believe mental health should be accessible, community-driven, and rooted in nature. Join us and take the first step toward a more connected, grounded, and supported version of yourself. ### **Why Our Groups are Donation-Based** Our Outdoor Movement Groups are made possible through a donation-based model. This approach allows us to keep our events accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, while also ensuring that we can continue expanding our reach. Casual Boardgames - make friends, then beat them in games
Casual Boardgames - make friends, then beat them in games
Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations.
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that. We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus.
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn.
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play.
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders…
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords…
IMPORTANT:
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for.
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.
