Hello everybody, I usually look for events on Saturdays but I can hardly ever find any, so I asked myself, "Why don't I organise one ?" The idea is to meet at **Next Bar in Via Crema 7** (very close to P.ta Romana underground station / yellow line) at **18:00** and hang out there for some time. You can also enjoy drinks and eat for 13 Euros (p.s. the buffet is mind-blowing). Guests are required to buy their first drink upon entry. I kindly encourage you to RSVP during the week if you can. Data is at the center of any organization. So it stands to reason that data should be at the center of how we design and write our Java applications. In this talk we are going to look at how recent changes to the Java language; Records, Pattern Matching, Seal Hierarchies, are enabling Java applications to be written in a Data-Oriented Programming (DOP) paradigm. We will look at the core concepts of DOP, and how it compares and contrasts with the OOP approach familiar to many Java developers.
