On these sound maps that activate when we walk across the squares with our phones' speakers, we will also improvise with small custom-designed solar-powered electroacoustic instruments. Participating does not require any background in music, but an interest in sound, for encountering new people and sharing ideas related to identity and memories. A careful listening attitude is central to the activities, as well as an interest for sharing and conversing within respect of differences. This workshop is related to a research and the registered participants will receive detailed information prior to decide on consenting to participate to the research. The activities will be documented for research purposes and there are various options for being or not included in the documentation. You may participate to the whole workshop or select the times that suit the best to your schedules. **After registering you will anyway be contacted and given more information, but you may as well ask information prior to registration by email at marianne.decoster-taivalkoski@uniarts.fi.** About the facilitator: Marianne Decoster-Taivalkoski (IG: marianne.d_t ) is a media and sound artist with French origins and based in Helsinki since 1993. Board Games at Arkade (Thursday)
Board Games at Arkade (Thursday)
Pay the **5 € board gaming fee** to the bar at the counter when you arrive. You must be at least 18 years old to enter [Arkade](https://www.arkade.fi/). We play in English and the game rules are taught before starting play, unless everyone is already familiar with the game. No previous experience with board gaming required. Despite our RSVP numbers here on Meetup, we almost always have at least 20 people participating weekly. The venue has a great board game library, the host and other players usually bring their own games too: our selection varies weekly. We're a very casual group so you're welcome to arrive early or late and join whatever game is starting up, there is no attendance tracking, or welcoming process. The bar has alcoholic drinks, mocktails, and soft drinks available as well as some snack foods. They've been okay with people ordering food to the bar with meal delivery services. If you are feeling sick, please stay home.
Vibe Coding Finland: May meetup with Antilooppi at VERK
Vibe Coding Finland: May meetup with Antilooppi at VERK
Welcome to our May meetup in Helsinki, arranged together with Antilooppi (https://antilooppi.fi/). Schedule: 17:00 Doors open! 17:30 Welcome words by organizers and Antilooppi 17:40 **The Spec-Driven Revolution: Building the 20X Development Engine** **By Dr Jukka Ala-Mutka, Founder of Managentics** Traditional SaaS is hitting a wall. As job security and project timelines face constant pressure, the "Artisan Coding" model is being replaced by AI-native pipelines. In this session, Jukka also shares how Managentics is operationalising "Spec-Driven Development" to achieve results that were previously impossible. In this deep dive, we will explore: * The Specification Factory: How Managentics transforms raw business intent into high-fidelity agent specifications. This is the "Intent-to-Specs" phase, where business logic is refined into structured blueprints before a single line of code is written. * The Industrial Assembly Line for Software: How we treat platform development not as a manual craft, but as a process-driven assembly line. We apply industrial management principles to digital creation, ensuring every feature follows a repeatable, high-velocity path from the factory to production. * The Power of SDD and TDD: Moving the source of truth from ephemeral syntax to structured business logic (Spec-Driven Development) and rigorous automated validation (Test-Driven Development). In this engine, specifications are the blueprints, and tests are the quality gates. * The 20X Development Engine: How this automated approach achieved 20x efficiency, delivering 200,000 lines of production-grade code in just 3 months. If you’re interested in moving beyond simple prompting to building industrial-scale autonomous capabilities through process-driven management, this talk is for you. About the Speaker: Jukka Ala-Mutka is a Dr Sc. & BSc in Construction Management with over 20 years of experience in strategy and technology. As the founder of Managentics, he is pioneering the "Intent-to-Specs" pipeline, helping organisations transition from human-centric tools to autonomous agent swarms. \*5 min break\* 18:15 **"Building Viral Apps People Love" by Jarno Silander, Founder of Kinoon.fi and Head of Growth at Droppe.** The world is full of digital experiences that fail people. Previously you just had to put up with it, but not anymore thanks to AI. In this session, Jarno shares practical advice on finding your next project and building experiences worth sharing, using the viral cinema platform Kinoon.fi as a working example. In this session, we’ll dive into: * **The Kinoon.fi story**: how virality generated the first 20k users and put Kinoon on track for €800k+ in annual partner sales. * **Finding your next project**: UX arbitrage and using pain as a compass. * **Building shareworthy experiences**: UX frameworks, mental models, and tips that turn users into your distribution channel. * **When taste ends and science begins**: measuring what matters and running experiments to surface unintuitive wins. * **How to just do things**: getting out of your own way. About the speaker: Jarno Silander is a curious startup founder-operator with 7 years of experience helping startups find product-market-fit and scale to their next growth stage. \*5 min break\* 18:50 TBA 19:30 Mingling / free discussion etc 20:00 Doors close **About us** Vibe Coding Finland is a community for developers, designers, business professionals and tech enthusiasts who love to vibe code, learn, and connect in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere. Building Scalable Customer Identity Resolution Pipelines on AWS Using AI
Building Scalable Customer Identity Resolution Pipelines on AWS Using AI
Customer identity resolution becomes increasingly complex as organizations scale across multiple systems, regions, and data formats. Traditional rule-based approaches often fail to keep up with data variability, require constant manual tuning, and struggle with real-time processing needs. This session presents a practical approach to building a scalable identity resolution pipeline using AWS services and modern AI techniques. The architecture combines data ingestion through Amazon S3 and AWS Glue, transformation pipelines using Spark on EMR, and machine learning models deployed via SageMaker for entity matching and standardization. Graph-based relationship modeling is implemented using Amazon Neptune to improve resolution accuracy by incorporating household and shared attribute context. We will walk through how machine learning models can be used for name and address normalization, how intelligent blocking strategies improve matching efficiency, and how feedback loops can be introduced to continuously improve accuracy. The session also highlights how serverless components such as AWS Lambda can be used for orchestration and real-time processing. **SPEAKER BIO** Mosaic Syed is a Senior Data Engineering and Cloud Solutions Architect with over 20 years of experience designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions across global enterprise environments. https://www.linkedin.com/in/mosaic-basha-syed-92300856 **CALL FOR SPEAKERS** Learn more: [https://www.awscolumbus.com/get-involved/](https://www.awscolumbus.com/get-involved/) **THANK YOU** *VEEAM* for hosting our meetup!
