* Host will tell you parts of an existing lesser known myth. * You retell this myth as a team using the prompt from the host. * Host reveals the original myth. The event showcases the power of collective story telling. There is no compulsion to speak, one can attend by merely listening to the stories. It is a safe place 🙂✨ Everyone plays the game in the way they feel the most comfortable. The event price is 10 euros, which includes one drink. Host gets 5 for the preparation of the myths and prompts, the rest goes to the establishment where the event is hosted.

Whether you are a veteran board gamer, or it is your first time playing board games, time to roll some dice, play some cards and flip the table!!! :P You can bring your own games and/or play those brought by others. Also, plenty of games to be chosen from Het Lab to be played. No need to know the rules to a game beforehand. Usually people are happy to explain the rules. Hi everyone! For those who want to enjoy nature, trips/excursions, and generally a more outdoors setting, let’s get together for a hiking excursion! The plan is to meet at Utrecht Central (and/or a train station that is closest to our hiking area), and then we begin our hiking route. For first-timers (or as a helpful reminder 😉), I recommend that you wear a comfy outfit & shoes and bring water & a snack or two. At some point during the excursion, we can do a break in-between to rest and eat/drink for a while. Depending on the time & weather, and whether people are up for it, there’s always the possibility of follow-up drinks later that day. From March 2026, by default we'll organize the Japanese Language Club **on Sundays from 12:30 at a new location** \- in Amstelveen Library\, just across the street from the previous location :\) This new location has more space for us, so we can also have a bit more attendees, and we can use the study books from the library :) ❗Please note: * **Food is not allowed** in the library (but we'll go grab a lunch after the event - this is optional). * Drinks are allowed, you can bring your own, and there are also tea and coffee machines, paid by card. * You can arrive a bit earlier (from 12:15), but try to be there by 12:30, that's the official start time. * Toilets are not free, but they are pretty cheap (0.50€), paid by card. * We don't need to worry about making noise, as long as we keep it reasonable (so no yelling or loud music). 📍**How to find us**: enter via the Venstra Cafe entrance, then continue straight and take stairs up one level to enter the Amstelveen Library.
