Where will we work in the age of AI? (second edition)
## **What IdeaVerse is about**
**We meet usually once a month to discuss some of the current challenges as well and perhaps come up with new ideas on how to overcome them. The format of the meeting includes an initial sharing of viewpoints by each participant without judgment, and in the second half we will discuss our ideas and try to find things to learn from each other.**
**In this next meeting we'll be discussing a second time (focusing on discussing strategies and solutions to adapt or work around this issue this time)...**
the future of work in the age of AI. I know, people are talking too much about this already in tech meetups where they just praise it to Kingdom Come. We're tired of it. But whether we like that it exists or not, we are confronted with a choice that I'd like us to discuss: **Do I lean into AI like I'm told I HAVE TO, or choose a different path, one more into physical labor or working with people? Or do I just say goodbye to work and start my own business?**
We hear thhat AI is going to replace a large number of jobs, starting with call centers, Uber drivers, writers, graphic designers, translators, etc. That a senior expert will replace 4 others in his team using AI. That the only jobs that will remain are those which require human touch like holding meetings, talking face to face with customers, jobs that require empathy or jobs that require dexterity like plumbing.
**But the path forward seems so unclear:**
1\. Who should learn AI: young people who want to compete with seniors\, or seniors because juniors don't know enough to spot errors?
2\. Should I double down on AI courses and certificates or jump a sinking ship and learn a craft or improve my social work skills? Or start my own business to escape irrelevance at work?
3\. Do we go with the flow and adapt to this rapid overwhelming change\, or demand from policy makers that they do not let companies do as they please if that means lower wages and unemployment at scale?
**Some suggested reading/watching:**
* [If AI Takes All Of Our Jobs... Who's Going To Buy Everything?](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYB0SVTGRj4) (the answer may shock you! :) - a 12 minute video) - good summary of the most likely future scenarios for automation and economics. Does not answer our questions but sets the scene for it.
* [AI Experts: These Are The Only 5 Jobs That Will Remain in 2030!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCjmK66x_Yk) (15 minute video) - a collage of various human and AI experts discussing options for work in the future (mostly from the famous DOAC).
* [Why Companies Are Quietly Rehiring Software Engineers](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFmxKgaLN80) (9 minute video) - some good news, at least for experienced developers; AI can be overhyped.
**The meeting is free to attend, but please buy a drink or two at our patron's place, to make them happy. They also have food in case you find the meeting too early (see [menu](https://altangrebovka.choiceqr.com/section:kavarna---jidelni-listek)).**
Letâs Discuss! Friedrich Hayek, The Use of Knowledge in Society
On Thursday, 9th of July, weâre going to meet and discuss Friedrich Hayekâs essay *The Use of Knowledge in Society*. First published in 1945, it is widely regarded as one of the most influential essays in economics and political philosophy of the twentieth century.
In the essay, Hayek explores a simple question: how can society make use of knowledge that is dispersed among millions of individuals? He argues that no single person, expert, corporation, or government possesses all the information needed to organize a complex economy. Instead, much of the knowledge relevant to social cooperation exists only in fragmented and local forms â in the experiences, circumstances, and decisions of ordinary people. According to Hayek, the price system acts as a remarkable mechanism for communicating and coordinating this knowledge without anyone needing to understand the whole picture.
The essay raises broader questions that extend far beyond economics. How much can society be consciously designed? What are the limits of expertise? When should we trust centralized planning, and when should we rely on decentralized processes? Letâs discuss!
Friedrich Hayek (1899â1992) was an Austrian-British economist, political philosopher, and one of the leading defenders of classical liberalism in the twentieth century. His work explored the nature of markets, knowledge, law, and social institutions. In 1974, he received the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences for his contributions to the understanding of economic and social order.
⸝
Anyone is welcome to join! No background in economics or philosophy is needed. Before the meeting, please read the essay (itâs only about 15 pages long), think about it, and note any passages you find especially interesting, challenging, or worth discussing. Weâll share our thoughts and interpretations during the meeting.

Holistic Intuitive Healing with RapĂŠ
**Holistic Intuitive Healing with RapĂŠ**
Greetings to everyone on the path of self-discovery and deep healing.
We have decided to host another RapĂŠ Ceremony, which will once again be unique in its approach.
As the name suggests, this ceremony offers a holistic and intuitive approach to working with spiritual trauma and its root causes, combined with the medicine of rapĂŠ. Throughout the process, we will gently guide you with both words and touch. For example, we may help release physical blockages in the body so you can fully experience and process the emotions connected to whatever arises during your process.
### What is RapĂŠ?
RapĂŠ is a traditional Amazonian sacred medicine.
It is a blend of finely ground tobacco and the ashes of sacred medicinal plants, administered through the nostrils using a special applicator.
RapĂŠ supports grounding, inner cleansing, and a deeper connection with yourself. It helps bring awareness into the body and encourages presence in the present moment.
### What can you expect?
We will begin by introducing the concept of holistic intuitive healing.
Next, we will choose a rapĂŠ blend that best matches the intention or issue you are bringing with you and administer the medicine.
Throughout the ceremony, we will accompany you with live music to support and deepen your healing process.
We will bring djembes, shamanic drums, rattles, harmonicas, flutes, shepherd's flutes (fujaras), and of course, our voices.
The ceremony will conclude with an energetic cleansing using herbal macerates and waira.
We work with several different varieties of rapĂŠ, always selecting the one that best suits your individual needs or preferences.
Our recommendation is to approach this experience without expectations.
A safe and supportive space will be held for you, where the expression of emotionsâwhether through crying, laughter, shouting, or silenceâis completely welcome.
We recommend bringing your own bucket in case your body goes through a physical cleansing process.
### Time
**Start:** 6:00 PM
**Estimated finish:** around 9:00 PM
Please note that the duration may vary depending on the needs of the group.
### A few important things
* Please arrive on an empty stomach so your body is more receptive to the medicine.
* Bring your own bucket if possible. If you prefer not to carry one on public transport, we will have spare buckets available. If you know you will need one, please let us know in advance.
* Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax and move freely without restriction.
We will also be available in the days following the ceremony to support you, if needed, in integrating and working through any themes that may have opened during the experience.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us via Messenger or call:
**Tereza:** +420 731 358 849
**JindĹich:** +420 792 643 977
Please confirm on fb event or by text message.
FB event:
https://fb.me/e/43tCzX3cU
### Contribution
Participation is offered on a donation basis.
The minimum contribution is **500 CZK**, which covers the cost of the rapĂŠ, herbal macerates, and the venue rental.
Any contribution above this amount is considered support and appreciation for our work.
For reference, the energetic value of this experience, including all expenses, is approximately **1,200 CZK per person**.
Please reserve your place by sending us a private message or contacting us on one of the phone numbers above.
We look forward to sharing this journey with you.
11/07 - REAL PEOPLE: HOME COOKING
Real People is where food, conversation, and simple shared experiences bring people together.
Home Cooking takes us into the kitchen.
This is not a cooking class where one person prepares the meal and everyone else watches. We all take part. We chop, mix, taste, exchange stories and recipes, and then sit down around one table to eat what we have created together.
This time, Moheb will invite us into his world through food, sharing a meal connected to his culture, memories, and everyday life.
You do not need to know how to cook. Come with curiosity, an appetite, and a willingness to join in.
Everyone cooks. Everyone eats. We split the bill for materials.

10/07 - BREATHWORK CEREMONY: EVERYTHING IS AS IT SHOULD BE
Everything Is As It Should Be is an evening breathwork ceremony about slowing down, coming back to the present moment, and allowing yourself to enjoy what is already here.
Through breath, music and gentle guidance, held by the presence of the group, we will create space to release accumulated tension and melt into the body, the breath and the room.
The practice is focused on the quality of enjoying the moment â a feeling that can support us in enjoying summer more fully, not only during the ceremony, but also afterwards: on a walk, over dinner, or in an ordinary quiet moment.
We will begin with an introduction to the practice and important information, then move into a guided breathwork journey of around 50 minutes.
After the practice, there will be time to return slowly, drink tea and share in the circle.
Breathwork can be a gentle and effective way to relax the nervous system, especially for people who find meditation difficult. Every experience is different. You may meet images, sensations, emotions, insights â or simply deep relaxation with beautiful music.
Please avoid eating a heavy meal during the two hours before the practice.
Please bring an eye mask or scarf to cover your eyes, a bottle of water, and optionally a notebook and pen. Wear comfortable clothes that do not restrict breathing or movement.
Breathwork can be intense. If you have heart conditions, high or low blood pressure, arrhythmia, lung disease, recent surgery, pregnancy or breastfeeding, diagnosed psychological disorders, or glaucoma, please contact us before booking so we can discuss the safest way for you to participate.

A monthly healing space where we gather to tend the pieces of ourselves and weave them back into wholeness that we are. Each session opens with a Soulbits oracle image setting the tone for the gathering we will move through. We will come together to honor the natural rhythms of rooting, rising, releasing, and receiving; the cycles that shape the soulâs journey.
Through the four pillars of being: mindset, movement, connection & nourishment, we will create a space where imagery, sensation, and community weave together. Where the body becomes the guide, images act as mirrors, and the soul speaks. This circle is about noticing what rises, honoring whatâs true, and reconnecting with the parts of yourself ready to be seen.
This is a space to gather your scattered pieces, soften your body, and return to your truth with community by your side. Soulbits Circle is a reminder that every fragment of your story, every soulbit, belongs. Together we weave them into the blooming wholeness that you are.

Recruiting Virtual Mental Health Group Leaders!
We are recruiting new group leaders for virtual men's groups! Our primary groups are outdoor movement groups, but we are launching virtual groups for the state of Ohio and beyond and the groups will move outside in the spring, creating room for men's groups, women's groups and coed groups all over the country.
Read below to learn about our groups and click the links at the bottom to apply.
### **What is an Outdoor Empowerment Group?**
Our Outdoor Movement & Community Empowerment Groups are simple, guided experiences designed to help people reconnect with nature, themselves, and others. We combine some form of movement (hike, walk, run, bike, yoga, workout) and meaningful conversation within a simple community circle to create a space where individuals can support each other while prioritizing mental and physical well-being.
Whether youâre seeking stress relief, personal growth, or community, our groups offer everyone a unique and welcoming environment.
## **Why Join?**
* **Improve Mental & Physical Well-Being** â Movement, nature, and supportive conversations reduce stress and promote balance.
* **Feel Less Alone** â Build genuine connections with like-minded people in a safe, welcoming space.
* **Gain Clarity & Perspective** â Step outside daily routines and into a space designed for personal growth and reflection.
## **The Ideal Group Leader**
The ideal group leader
* Has a born-in passion for mental health, movement, connecting with nature and building community.
* Has 5 extra hours per week to dedicate to a meaningful cause for at least one year. Yes, you can leave any organization at any time and we can also ask you to leave, but we are building with legacy in mind and we need people who can commit and be ALL IN on this mission to build with us.
* Is independently financially stable with the ability to volunteer with no expectation of pay. This is a deeply beautiful journey of service that all participants commit to at Speak Your Mind.
* An ability to manage groups with high emotional intelligence and desire for human connection.
* An ability to self-motivate and market/promote their group on Facebook and other social platforms.
* Nature informed therapy or clinical therapists/psychologists a plus.
## **Our Impact**

Since launching, we have helped thousands find support, connection, and healing through our Outdoor Movement Groups. 100% of participants surveyed have reported:
* A noticeable improvement in mental clarity and emotional well-being.
* An increase in social connection and a sense of belonging.
* Said they would return again.
We believe mental health should be accessible, community-driven, and rooted in nature. Join us and take the first step toward a more connected, grounded, and supported version of yourself.
### **Why Our Groups are Donation-Based**
Our Outdoor Movement Groups are made possible through a donation-based model. This approach allows us to keep our events accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, while also ensuring that we can continue expanding our reach. Itâs a great way to pay it forward and support the growth of this beautiful mission!
Every contribution helps us:
* **Cover Essential Costs** â Donations allow us to pay essential legal, marketing, insurance, and admin costs as well as nourish the important people who run the organization.
* **Grow Our Mission** â With your support, we can bring these healing experiences to thousands more people in the future and execute our long term plan to expand across the USA, affecting up to 500,000 people per year.
By choosing to contribute, youâre not just leading an eventâyouâre helping build a mental health movement that supports long-term well-being and connection for all during a severe mental health epidemic.
