Beginners Ukulele Lesson & Play-A-Long
**14:00 to 15:30 - Beginners Uke Session** We will take you from zero to playing your first song in around 30 mins, and by the end of our session you will have enough of the basics to join in with our jam session. We have spare ukuleles if you don’t have one of your own. **15:30 to 17:30 - Jam Session Part 1** As more experienced players turn up, we will play a range of songs which everyone can join in with. This is when the sing-a-long / play-a-long really starts. The second part of this session often has a theme around an artists, genre or season. Each song has an instrumental section, and we encourage people to improvise, harmonise or just to play it as they feel it. **17:30 to 18:00 - Food Break** Grab something from the menu, chat to your fellow players, meet new people. Look through the song book. Start playing random stuff. **18:00 to 20:00 - Jam Session Part 2** We will play some more advanced songs. The last part of the session is requests from the jam group. Come and join us for a play-a-long jam. We will be based in the cellar bar at Iguana on Mannerheimintie. We keep it simple ... we put the words and chords on laptop. Please bring a tablet if you have one so you can also access the songbook at ukejam.online ... or you can use one of our TV screens we will have dotted around the place. We will have a limited number of spare ukuleles and guitars. If you don't play anything, you are welcome to come and just hangout, sing if you want to. If you like, pick up a ukulele, and someone will help you play a few simple chords and play along. If you have your own instrument, it is best to bring it. Also if you have a tablet, you can access the songbook at ukejam.online and then you don't have to stare at the TV screen all night. Everyone is welcome ... we also have a community WhatsApp group that you can join when you come to the event. We aim to be a safe and inclusive space for everyone. Vibe Coding Finland: May meetup with Antilooppi at VERK
Vibe Coding Finland: May meetup with Antilooppi at VERK
Welcome to our May meetup in Helsinki, arranged together with Antilooppi (https://antilooppi.fi/). Schedule: 17:00 Doors open! 17:30 Welcome words by organizers and Antilooppi 17:40 **The Spec-Driven Revolution: Building the 20X Development Engine** **By Dr Jukka Ala-Mutka, Founder of Managentics** Traditional SaaS is hitting a wall. As job security and project timelines face constant pressure, the "Artisan Coding" model is being replaced by AI-native pipelines. In this session, Jukka also shares how Managentics is operationalising "Spec-Driven Development" to achieve results that were previously impossible. In this deep dive, we will explore: * The Specification Factory: How Managentics transforms raw business intent into high-fidelity agent specifications. This is the "Intent-to-Specs" phase, where business logic is refined into structured blueprints before a single line of code is written. * The Industrial Assembly Line for Software: How we treat platform development not as a manual craft, but as a process-driven assembly line. We apply industrial management principles to digital creation, ensuring every feature follows a repeatable, high-velocity path from the factory to production. * The Power of SDD and TDD: Moving the source of truth from ephemeral syntax to structured business logic (Spec-Driven Development) and rigorous automated validation (Test-Driven Development). In this engine, specifications are the blueprints, and tests are the quality gates. * The 20X Development Engine: How this automated approach achieved 20x efficiency, delivering 200,000 lines of production-grade code in just 3 months. If you’re interested in moving beyond simple prompting to building industrial-scale autonomous capabilities through process-driven management, this talk is for you. About the Speaker: Jukka Ala-Mutka is a Dr Sc. & BSc in Construction Management with over 20 years of experience in strategy and technology. As the founder of Managentics, he is pioneering the "Intent-to-Specs" pipeline, helping organisations transition from human-centric tools to autonomous agent swarms. \*5 min break\* 18:15 **"Building Viral Apps People Love" by Jarno Silander, Founder of Kinoon.fi and Head of Growth at Droppe.** The world is full of digital experiences that fail people. Previously you just had to put up with it, but not anymore thanks to AI. In this session, Jarno shares practical advice on finding your next project and building experiences worth sharing, using the viral cinema platform Kinoon.fi as a working example. In this session, we’ll dive into: * **The Kinoon.fi story**: how virality generated the first 20k users and put Kinoon on track for €800k+ in annual partner sales. * **Finding your next project**: UX arbitrage and using pain as a compass. * **Building shareworthy experiences**: UX frameworks, mental models, and tips that turn users into your distribution channel. * **When taste ends and science begins**: measuring what matters and running experiments to surface unintuitive wins. * **How to just do things**: getting out of your own way. About the speaker: Jarno Silander is a curious startup founder-operator with 7 years of experience helping startups find product-market-fit and scale to their next growth stage. \*5 min break\* 18:50 TBA 19:30 Mingling / free discussion etc 20:00 Doors close **About us** Vibe Coding Finland is a community for developers, designers, business professionals and tech enthusiasts who love to vibe code, learn, and connect in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere. 【IMPORTANT SUMMARY】 * The purpose of social games is to know some people, do some exercise and enjoy the games together with others. Winning and getting points is not the focus of this session. Please play with consideration to your opponents' level. * Please purchase your slot through this link [https://7538e9.myshopify.com/](https://7538e9.myshopify.com/) 【SIGN-UP SYSTEM】 * Please sign up and pay through this link. [https://7538e9.myshopify.com/products/social-game](https://7538e9.myshopify.com/products/social-game) * We don't use the signup system on Meetup.com anymore. (Neither the waiting list) * It says this event is full on this meetup page, because I didn't open any slots here for you to sign up. You have to check this [sign-up page](https://7538e9.myshopify.com/products/social-game) to see if there is still a slot available there. * The background of using an external sign-up and payment system is because Meetup.com introduced a service fee to increase 21% of the fee in May 2023, and we want to reduce this cost. 【FEE and REFUND POLICY】 * Fee includes courts and plastic shuttles. Please sign up and pay before you come. NO refund if you do not cancel until 48 hours before the event. * Racket: bring one or rent one at the counter. * You can put a comment to sell your slot after the deadline of refund, or sell your slot in our whatsapp group. * No matter the reason is sickness, accident or anything, the group or I will not afford the cost caused by your absence. * Of course you CAN'T ask me, "Can I sign up for free for next week because I didn't come to use my slot this week?". Please remember, the court booked for you was there and it costs money. The court doesn't simply become "free of charge", just because you didn't come to use it. 【COMMUNICATION】 * Communication: our whatsapp group [https://chat.whatsapp.com/JJQbJlisbcj5YDnlcSu347](https://chat.whatsapp.com/JJQbJlisbcj5YDnlcSu347) * There are too many spams, so I only accept +358 number to join whatsapp group. Numbers from other countries will all be rejected. 【OTHERS】 * Please always keep 1 meter away from those courts where people are playing. Never step into the corners of other courts! If I see you do this, I probably will yell at you! * If you have some questions, you can put your questions in the comments on the event page. People will respond. * We play double games to 21 points. After each game, please let those who are waiting to play. Feel free to play with whoever you want, but please avoid playing with the same people all the time. * If you are new to badminton, please Google basic badminton rules in advance. Serve rules, double rules and point counting rules. You are always welcome to ask anyone in our group. Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 7:00pm on Wednesday, February 11 at Streetlight Guild. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. **SCHEDULE:** 6:45ish - Quick introductions 7:00 - Timer starts: write for 1 hour 8:00 - The End **OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING** happens before and after the writing hour. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. **BEING LATE IS OKAY:** just show up and get settled! If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer. Happy writing & I look forward to seeing you at Streetlight Guild! **WHAT SHOULD I BRING?** Whatever you need to be able to write! You're welcome to bring earplugs/headphones if noise will bother you! **OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS:** * **RSVP:** Please RSVP by 6:00pm the evening of the meeting. This helps me know how many to expect, and if we'll need additional space! * **COVID:** While masks are not required, please be mindful of the other writers around you and their comfort levels. * **WIFI/OUTLETS:** Outlets are limited, so please ensure your devices are charged when you come! But Streetlight Guild does have free WiFi! Yay! * **PARKING:** There is free public parking at Streetlight Guild.

Shut Up & Write! Kingsdale Shopping Center
Shut Up & Write! Kingsdale Shopping Center
Greetings writers! Come down and join your fellow wordsmiths for one hour of uninterrupted writing time in the upper level of the Market District Supermarket in Upper Arlington. The main entrance of the shopping center opens onto stairs/elevator leading up to the 2nd floor cafe section where we will have a table displaying a sign with the Shut Up & Write logo. Writing is largely a solitary craft. Practicing with others in a community setting may be the thing you need to fire your own routine. We’ll meet on Wednesday evenings, starting the clock at 6:30, following a brief period of introductions. This is solid writing time and all inclusive. Any project is acceptable, be it fiction, non -fiction, work or homework assignment. All is welcome and will remain private to you. The market boasts a Starbucks, a full service bar and various affordable food options. Parking is plentiful, free Wifi is provided as well as outlets for charging your devices, though they are somewhat limited, so plan accordingly. Show up as early as you like, or stay late. This group tends to socialize some, both before and after the alloted time, but this is not mandatory to you. Feel free to come and go as you please and late arrivals are welcome. The cafe may be noisy on occasion so headphones/ earbuds are reccommended as you see fit. Please try to RSVP if possible so that we may grab enough seats for all—the venue can be busy at times. Feel free to message me privately wth any questions and/ or concerns you may have. Happy writing!
