O enredo da peça gira em torno das instruções de segurança antes do espetáculo, muito comum antes da sessão de cinema. Percebendo que, no teatro, esta determinação muitas vezes não é cumprida, o “Sargento-Tenente-Major” Peçanha – um dos personagens mais populares do coletivo Porta dos Fundos – , resolveu inovar e oferecer os serviços de quem tem “mais de vinte anos de corporação nas costas”.
