Authentic Relating Workshop: Slowing Down
Authentic Relating Workshop: Slowing Down
Join us for a grounded, body-centered journey into Authentic Relating — where slowing down allows presence, sensation, and self-awareness to guide our connections. In a world that moves fast, we often respond before we truly feel. We speak before we notice what’s happening inside. We listen to reply instead of to understand. This workshop is an invitation to pause. Communication extends far beyond words. Facial expressions, tone of voice, posture, gestures, breath, and eye contact all shape how we experience one another. When we slow down enough to notice these subtle cues — in ourselves and others — trust and safety naturally deepen. Through guided Authentic Relating practices, we will: • Notice what is happening in the body moment to moment • Build language for physical sensations and internal experiences • Practice expressing ourselves with clarity and authenticity • Explore how presence transforms connection If you’re longing for more depth, more presence, and more meaningful conversations — this space is for you. **Who would benefit from this practice:** partners, family members, those who want help connecting with others (friendships), professionals who have trouble working with team members, and team leaders who are trying to make an impact. **About the instructor:** Mike is a certified Authentic Relating facilitator, trained through ART International, with ongoing training in Nonviolent Communication, and other heart-centered communication modalities. He is passionate about creating spaces where people can slow down, connect deeply, and experience meaningful connection. Mike facilitates Authentic Relating exercises with the intention of making a real and lasting impact in people’s lives.

The Cover6 Community Meet & Greet — We're Back In Person 🔒
The Cover6 Community Meet & Greet — We're Back In Person 🔒
It's been too long. Cover6 Community is bringing back in-person meetups — and we're starting where it makes sense: the DC/Crystal City area. No conference. No panels. No $200 ticket. Just the community showing up, connecting face-to-face, and talking cybersecurity the way we always have. **What to expect:** * Pure open networking — no agenda, no presentations, no slides * Three hours to connect, catch up, and build real relationships * Genuine conversations with practitioners, newcomers, students, and professionals from across the industry * Good energy, familiar faces — and plenty of new ones * The hotel bar is right downstairs if you want a drink **🅿️ Parking is on us — 50% off in the hotel garage.** **Who should come:** Anyone in or entering the cybersecurity space in the DMV. It doesn't matter if you've been in the industry for 20 years or you're still studying for your first cert. You belong here. **Bring a friend.** Seriously — the more the merrier. Tag someone who needs to be in this room. 📍 **AC Hotel by Marriott Arlington National Landing** 1999 Richmond Highway, Arlington, VA 22202 *(Metro accessible — Blue/Yellow Line, Crystal City Station)* 📅 **Wednesday, March 25, 2026** 🕕 **6:00 PM – 9:00 PM** RSVP so we know how many people to expect. This is the first of what will be a **monthly event — last Thursday of every month starting April 30.** Mark your calendar now. See you in the room. — Tyrone & the Cover6 Community team
Read & Reflect: A Social Reading Circle.
Shared Pages, Shared Insights.
Read & Reflect: A Social Reading Circle. Shared Pages, Shared Insights.
📚 Do you love reading, but wish you had a structure and a community to share your insights with? Join our small circle of curious minds (just 4 members per gathering) as we come together for an hour of focused reading—in the calm setting of a library or the cozy atmosphere of a café. Here’s how it works: First part: Quiet reading on your own—bring a book you’re exploring, whether it’s philosophy, history, psychology, literature, or anything meaningful to you. Second part: We regroup and each person shares key takeaways, insights, or questions sparked by their reading. This sparks a structured yet free-flowing conversation around ideas, perspectives, and personal reflections. Why join? Add structure to your reading habit. Discover new books, authors, and ideas through others’ choices. Build real connections by sharing and listening deeply. Socialize around something meaningful instead of small talk.

It’s the most unique Real Estate Investor Community of Mentors, Coaches & Masterminds. A community of growth oriented, abundance mindset, go-giver individuals with a BARE MINIMUM commitment to become financially free through real estate investing. We focus on providing education and building networks to help every member solve their cash-flow freedom equation, so they can have the time-freedom needed to follow their passions, make a lasting impact and even change the world! The unique format of this event, which consists of high-level education, gamified networking, mastermind breakout sessions, case studies, group deal analysis, market deep dives, and peer-to-peer coaching facilitation makes this the most impactful local real estate investor group a real estate investor can be a part of. The foundation of the group is built around the belief that everyone in the room has the potential to change the world… however most of us never have the time, energy or financial situation to even dare to dream big enough. Most of us have passions that will never be followed, amazing businesses or ideas that will never be pursued… unless we can solve the Cash-Flow Freedom Equation, which ultimately leads to Time-Freedom. Once that happens it is usually much easier for us to think bigger, dream bigger, be bigger. · 🤯 Learn more about the Cash-Flow Breakfast Club [HERE](https://cashflowbreakfastclub.com/) · 🥇 Get in the VIP List to be notified about the next event in your area [HERE](https://the.cashflowbreakfastclub.com/VIP) · 🤙🏼 Learn more about Launching your own Cash-Flow Breakfast Club Location [HERE](https://cashflowbreakfastclub.com/launch-your-own-club/) · 🤝🏼 Learn more about becoming an Affiliate-Sponsor at one of our club locations [HERE](https://cashflowbreakfastclub.com/affiliate-sponsors/) · 📷 View photos and videos of some of our recent events [HERE](https://cashflowbreakfastclub.com/about-the-cash-flow-breakfast-club/) · 😎 Looking to represent? Firefly Foundations Class: History of Wicca and the House
Firefly Foundations Class: History of Wicca and the House
It's almost spring! That means, it's time for the Firefly House's annual Foundations class series. These classes are meant to provide students the opportunity to learn about the House and about our way of being Pagan. For the second class of our seven-class series, we'll cover the vast array of folks whose philosophical or theological work leads to the House. Because Wicca is a formative part of our House's foundations, that means we'll be going over some of the usual suspects with respect to Wiccan history. When you RSVP for this class, you'll be asked to provide an email address. We'll send you a link to the class video at that address as soon as possible after we receive it. We keep won't share your email with anyone ever. Watch the video before the class date and time, and come to class with any questions you might have. During the class session, we'll be going over anything from the video you wanted to review, and then for the remainder of the time, we'll be discussing a few folks who have had an influence on the house that we don't discuss in the video as an example of cultural appropriation. If there's time, we'll also go over a soul alignment ritual that comes to the house from those very individuals. If you're comfortable with it, join us at the MLK Memorial Library in the Room 401-D to join the conversation in-person. Masks will be welcomed, but not provided, for in-person attendees. We will also have the necessary technology to allow folks to join in online via Google Meet if you prefer to attend remotely. Video conferencing information will be sent out the morning of the event. If you're connecting that way, please give us a few minutes past 3:30pm to get the stream online. This class is a part of our [foundations class series](https://docs.google.com/document/d/18-tA9ewEm1YEvY26jlWq07F2DT_-_HKwd-_wnl0l84g/edit?usp=sharing), which is only required if you wish to join the Firefly House as an initiate. If that does not interest you, then feel free to skip classes that you find less important for your journey. If you want to keep your options open with respect to initiation but cannot attend this session at the listed date and time, please contact the event host prior to the session. Keep in mind, you can only miss two of seven sessions in this way. Time spent with initiates of the House and your fellow classmates is an important part of knowing if you want to initiate. If you don't initiate, regardless of the reason, you're still welcome to all of the public events we organize. If you would like to, feel free to [join our Discord](https://discord.gg/RrS9XNzf9X) to chat with others in the Firefly House between sessions. This is also a great place to ask for help if you've lost a link to a video, for example. \*\*\* The Firefly House seeks to provide a friendly, safe environment in which all participants can engage in productive dialogue, sharing, and learning with each other in an atmosphere of mutual respect. We are committed to providing a harassment-free environment for all, regardless of gender identity or expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body type, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact the host.

My Body Don't Flow So Fast - Slow Flow Vinyasa

How LLMs Like ChatGPT Actually Work and How to Build With Them
**First meetup of the Columbus AI Engineering group.** We’ll kick things off with a practical, beginner-friendly discussion on: **How LLMs like ChatGPT actually work — and how to build real applications with them.** We’ll cover: * what’s actually happening under the hood (at a high level) * why LLMs behave the way they do (hallucinations, prompt sensitivity, etc.) * how people are building real systems with them today * where things break in practice This will be a **short, informal talk (\~15–20 min)** followed by open discussion and Q&A. Whether you’re an engineer, builder, or just curious about how modern AI systems work, you’re welcome to join. No slides, no fluff — just real conversation about real systems.
