**We are happy to announce a new Tandem Night!** After the success of our previous Sprachyfass events, we’re excited to present our latest edition; this time focusing exclusively on **German and French**. This event offers a relaxed environment to practice your language skills while meeting new people. Whether you’re improving your German or perfecting your French, Sprachbar – Sprachyfass is the perfect opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with fellow learners and native speakers. **Event Details:** * **Location:** Sisyfass – Wildenbruchstr. 7, 12045 Berlin * **Time:** From 19:45 – Open End (music will follow from 22:00 on) * **Fee:** Free participation – but don’t forget to grab a drink at the bar to support the venue * **Host:** The event will be hosted by **Christine**! **How It Works:** * Focused on German and French – all levels are welcome, with a target range of **A2–B1**. * Participants are grouped by proficiency to ensure comfortable conversations. * Regular rotations give everyone the chance to meet new people and practice both languages. **FAQs:** 1. **I’m interested in practicing German/French but don’t speak the other language. Can I still participate?** Yes, you’re welcome to join even if one language is stronger for you. However, the goal is to create a tandem environment between German and French, so it’s ideal if you have some knowledge of both. 2. **My proficiency isn’t very high, but I’d like to participate. Is this event suitable for me?** Absolutely! This event is all about practicing and connecting, so all skill levels are encouraged. Just keep in mind that the focus is on German and French. 3. **Is there a fee to attend?** No, the event is free. However, purchasing a drink at the bar helps support the venue, and we encourage everyone to enjoy the cozy atmosphere with a drink or two! We look forward to a fantastic evening of language exchange and fun!

The Language Café is primarily aimed at people who are struggling with their mental health which can make it hard to go to regular courses. We want to create a safe space for everyone to learn and practise without pressure. Everyone is welcome! Please try to be on time so we can all get started together :) We mainly practise on a beginner/lower intermediate level and adapt to everyone's prior level of German. The Language Café will focus on teaching you the most important words and phrases and basic grammar in German. The content of the course is adapted to real life. (everyday life in Germany, dealing with authorities, etc.) We will cover different topics every week and you can join us anytime, since the topics do not necessarily build on each other.
