Winter Vision-Boarding: The Power of Rest
This workshop is centred around a simple but often overlooked idea: life moves in seasons and growth does not come from constant output alone.
Many of us have been taught to stay in motion, to keep pushing, producing, and progressing. But rest, pause, and recalibration are not setbacks. They are essential for expansion, clarity, and becoming who you are meant to be. When we ignore that, we do not move faster. We move out of sync with ourselves.
Instead of focusing only on what you want to achieve, this session invites you to explore what your next season actually looks like. The pace, energy, and priorities that feel aligned for you right now.
Together, we will move through guided prompts and facilitated discussion to reflect on where you may be forcing, overextending, or holding onto things that no longer fit. From there, you will bring those insights into form through a hands-on, artistic vision boarding session that is intuitive, tactile, and creatively freeing.
This is a gentle but grounding space for thoughtful conversation, creative expression, and shared insight with like-minded women who are also learning to move in rhythm with themselves.
No artistic experience needed! Just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to reflect.
We'll have the essentials for vision-boarding (scissors, magazine cutouts and paper), but encourage you to bring your own materials as well (think anything extra sparkly and fun).
**What to expect**
* Guided prompts to explore your current season, your natural rhythm, and what feels aligned for your next chapter
* Facilitated group discussion (with space to listen or share)
* Physical, creative vision-boarding
* A calm, supportive environment to reset and realign
**Agenda**
*10:00am* â Mingling & settling in
*10:30am* â Facilitated group discussion with reflective prompts
*11:00am* â Vision boarding (creative session)
*12:15pm* â Sharing, reflections & wrap-up
Leave with clarity, a sense of alignment, and a visual reminder of the season you are stepping into.
**About your facilitator**
This event will be facilitated by Nadi Pax (@findingnadi).
Nadi is a writer, facilitator, and creator focused on identity, self-trust, and emotional safety. Her work explores how identity is shaped through survival, people-pleasing, and self-abandonment and how it can be consciously rebuilt through awareness, embodiment, and choice. Drawing from lived experience, psychology-informed frameworks, and years of self-inquiry, Nadi creates spaces that feel both grounding and expansive, where women can return to themselves and move forward with clarity.

Fairfield â East Malvern via the Anniversary Trail
This Saturday, 11:00 AM â ~3:00 PM
***********Weather*** Update**. if the weather is particularly bad, I'll cancel it for the next free Saturday. Check the comments, I'll make the decision around 9 a.m on Saturday. Grey skies and some light patchy rain are not reason to cancel.
**Meet**: Outside the Fairfield railway station at 11 a.m for a 11.15 am start. On the side where the trains are moving away from the city.
**Cost**: $0... yes nothing
**đThe* ****Vibe***
A flirty, whimsical winter wander for singles only â the kind of gentle, slowâburn social chemistry that happens when you mix crisp air, shared adventure, and a trail that practically invites conversation.
**Please** ***note***: **This** ***event*** ***is*** ***waitlisted***. I want a balanced gender mix, i.e even numbers of girls and guys. I have a creep code operating and event expectations around no shows, read on for how that works.
**Age** **Range**: Open
**Couples** are welcome only if theyâre very new (the kind where youâre still pretending you donât stalk each otherâs Instagram stories).
**Married** **people**: this one isnât for you.
Weâre keeping the energy light, open, and romantically unencumbered. This event will be waitlisted to help maintain a roughly balanced gender mix â not a perfect science, but enough to keep the social ecosystem feeling fair and fun.
đśââď¸đď¸ **The** **Route**
A deliciously meandering 15 km journey from Fairfield Railway Station to East Malvern Railway Station, following the Anniversary Trail â a path built for bicycles but secretly perfect for flirty winter walking.
**Detail here**: [https://www.railtrails.org.au/trails/outer-circle-rail-trail/](https://www.railtrails.org.au/trails/outer-circle-rail-trail/)
**Expect**:
Leafy suburban pockets with âI could live hereâ energy
Sweeping shared paths ideal for sideâbyâside banter
Hidden corners of the middle suburbs that feel like your own private discovery
A midâwalk lunch stop at East Camberwell â warm food, warm hands, warmer conversations. This is also the half way point at around 8km, you can exit the walk at this point and catch. train etc back into the city
We finish at a cafĂŠ/pub in East Malvern, where the group can thaw out, mingle, and see which conversations want to keep going.
**đ§ŁWinter** **Wisdom &** ***What*** ***to*** ***Bring***
Comfortable walking shoes (your feet will thank you)
Snacks + water
Warm layers â itâs winter, and Melbourne weather loves drama
A playful, open attitude
A willingness to chat with strangers who ight not stay strangers
**đśââď¸Fitness** ***and*** **etiquette**
I like walking at a relaxed pace around 4+km/hr
It's a long walk, so make sure you can keep up and can make the distance
.
People who speed ahead aren't really welcome, find a speed walking group instead.
If you are too slow and dawdle you might be asked to leave, same goes with inappropriate behaviour.
Do not turn up un announced and not on the guest list, you will be asked to leave., Check ins will be performed.
No shows will likely be removed from the group. If you can't make it take yourself off the going list
đ **Flirtation** **Guidelines**
This is a social event, not a pressure cooker.Donât be pushy about phone numbers â let the moment offer itself
If the vibe is mutual, go for it
Become a regular â Iâll be testing this format over 3â4 events
Youâll likely see the same lovely humans again at future singles nights/events or Eat Drink Dance âopenâ events
The goal is to build a small, recurring ecosystem where people feel comfortable, familiar, and relaxed enough to be themselves.
**đĽWaitlist & Gender Ratios**
To keep things balanced and comfortable:
Event capped at max 30 people to test interest,
Generally guys admitted only after a woman registers (to maintain ratios) at my discretion until the format matures. If you become a regular I'm not so discriminating as long as you behave yourself.
Women can be a little flaky (we love them anyway), so I may accept 1â2 extra
**đ§The Creep** **Code**
A refined social compass keeps the vibe safe, fun, and dramaâfree.
So: No married individuals or those already coupled up (generally)
No Tinder Swindlerâstyle minglers
**Guys**: **Please Take Special Note**
Must have a clear face photo (no sunglasses, no blurry shadows, no âmysterious man in witness protectionâ)
No wide shots taken from a distance where you can't be identified.
No yacht/car/jet flexing â if your profile screams âcryptoâadjacentâ, you will be gently declined. If you are declined, update your profile photo to something less creepy.
**Girls**: No restrictions â privacy and safety firstâ
â ď¸ **SMAL EVENT EXPECTATIONS â ď¸**
**đť NoâShows**
Noâshows block waitlisted people from attending and disrupt small-group events.
Remove yourself at least 24 hours before the event.
Noâshows will likely be removed and blocked from the group.
Lastâminute cancellations (âflakingâ) may also result in group removal, especially when there is a waitlist.
đ **Attending** **Without** **Being** **on** **the** **Going** **List**
This is a security issue.
**Do** **NOT** **turn** **up** **unannounced**.
If youâre not on the Going list and havenât arranged it with the organiser beforehand, you will be asked to leave. Event checkâins are performed.
**đąWhy** **This** **Event** **Exists**
A few people have asked me to run something for singles, and Meetup is already full of solo attendees. Dating apps feel like a minefield, and IRL conversations tend to be and are rare and sometimes awkward. So this is an experiment â a softâlaunch into a more human, more organic way of meeting people for singles..
Fundamentals of Authentic Relating - In Tension with Others
Itâs easy to feel connected when everything is smooth. But the real test is when there is tension: when something feels off, when boundaries are crossed, or when conflict arises.
Instead of creating distance by avoiding these moments or pushing through them, this workshop is an invitation to stay relational while navigating friction.
You will learn tools to reduce the likelihood of tensions creeping in and the skills to stay in connection when navigating conflicts.
Through structured activities, we will explore what supports honest and resilient relationships, and experiment with how to:
* Become aware of the contexts we operate in
* Limit misunderstandings or unmet expectations that lead to disappointment
* Offer feedback in a way that builds trust
* Stay grounded when someone is impacted by us or coming with a charge
* Navigate our own triggers without collapsing or attacking
* Repair connection after a rupture
The workshop is mostly experiential. You can expect a mix of structured activities in pairs or small groups (50%), facilitated reflection time (30%) and teachings (20%).
We aim to foster a sense of connection, insight, and fun in/between participants.
After the workshop you will be emailed session notes (a summary of teachings, prompts for self reflection, suggestions for integration in daily life etc.)
**TICKETS**
Tickets start at $30.
Weâre committed to accessibility and offer further discount if money is a real barrier to attending.
[Book here](https://relational-spaces.com/event/fundamentals-of-authentic-relating-tension-with-others/)
**FUNDAMENTALS OF AUTHENTIC RELATING**
Fundamentals of Authentic Relating (AR) happens every 3rd Saturday of the month.
Itâs for people who want to bring more awareness, honesty, and connection into their relationships.
Anyone curious about personal growth, wanting more ease and connection in their interactions, interested in improving their relational skills, or wishing to gain a formal understanding of AR frameworks and mechanics.
Sessions are themed and weâll begin by exploring how to notice what is happening inside (Feb), followed by listening more deeply (Mar), developing curiosity (Apr), expressing oneself with clarity and courage (May), and navigating boundaries and conflict with care (June).
**YOUR FACILITATOR**
Guillaume has been training in Authentic Relating since 2020, and most recently with ART international (level 4 facilitation certification).
He facilitates online and in-person AR workshops for corporates, training institutions, mental health organisations (Menergy, Island of Men), and at private events and festivals (Confest, Renaissance).
After 15+ years in leadership positions in the corporate world, Guillaumeâs focus is now in the relational arts (Authentic Relating, Circling, Non Violent Communication) and therapeutic modalities (counselling, Gestalt psychotherapy). He is the founder of [Relational Spaces](https://relational-spaces.com/) where he supports others in their personal growth both through individual sessions and group facilitation, and the co-creator of Intentional dinner, a space for human connections and a meal.

We will be focusing on learning what specific roles on the court entail, improving 'volleyball IQ', breaking bad habits, and building better techniques.
**[[WHERE]]**
The session will be held as State Netball Hockey centre.
Please enter via the main entrance (the entrance with the larger parking lot), we will be on Court 3 & 4, please ask the person at the front desk if you need directions.

ThoughtstormÂŽ Session Topic: International Day of Play, Yarraville
Would you like to enhance your creativity, confidence and increase your awareness? Weâd love you to join us to ThoughtstormÂŽ the topic International Day of Play in the warm, friendly environment of the Yarraville Community Centre.
How Thoughtstorm came about
Thoughtstorm is a technique developed from a seed of speculation: are there more effective (rational, cooperative, compassionate) ways of thinking? Methods whose long-term consequences will not lead to oblivion. This is the genesis of Thoughtstorm.
What is it?
For anyone with an interest in leadership, deeper conversations or creative problem solving, something much more than a group discussion occurs. What is experienced in Thoughtstorm is a forgotten sensory ability - mind-linking. An evolution in human thinking and learning.
The direction moves from a narrow range of possibility into discovering corecepts, when individual minds merge into a much more powerful collective awareness and experience a deeper, more compassionate comprehension of reality. Corecepts trigger intuitive recognition and agreement by the group, a âWhy, of course!â reaction.
New insights guaranteed!
Because this process taps into abilities already present in the human mind and into aggregates of consciousness straining to express themselves, very little practice is required.
Would you like to see and understand things in a way that is new for all of us? Would you like to develop your consciousness and your creative intelligence? Would you like to be inspired to create positive change?
Then come and join us to Thoughtstorm together.
If itâs your first time to Thoughtstorm, please RSVP early to give plenty of time to arrange a brief prep call on Zoom to go over the Thoughtstorm procedures so we can all get started on time together.
**Agenda:**
2pm - Arrive, meet and greet, read over Thoughtstorm instructions
2.15pm - Begin the Thoughtstorm
3.15pm - Finish
When you RSVP we will be in touch with the details.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Free In-Person Meeting: Get Over Losses & Betrayals, Build Lasting Relationships
This is a free, in-person meeting on the subject of betrayals, losses and how to get over them so you can build lasting relationships.
Burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to âpin the blameâ on someone or something. If you donât find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse.
Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well.
Whether you are suffering from a divorce, or a painful break-up, donât know who to trust (or who to CHOOSE) as a partner, friend, boss or employee - the anxiety of relationship troubles can really make a mess of things. Maybe youâve suffered a betrayal, or are dealing with hostility or criticalness or invalidation. Dwindling relationships can involve destructive behavior, where we hurt those we love, or start succumbing to self-destructive thoughts, attitudes or behaviors that spiral out of control and affect much more than our immediate relationship.
Past losses in love or life can affect how we act or react to new people and situations and hold us back from even starting to create new, possibly great relationships! How can one get back onto a saner course of action?
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life: human relationships!
Break free from self imposed limitations
Here we will discuss:
⢠How to âeraseâ the trauma of past hurts and betrayals so that one isnât always repeating past mistakes.
⢠Why and how do the negative emotions of others affect you?
⢠Why is my partner withdrawing and what can I do about it?
⢠Why do we sometimes feel compelled to hurt the ones we love?
⢠Fights & arguments - what's really behind them?
⢠What underlies âcorrosive criticismâ or the need to invalidate self or others?
⢠How one can stably change oneâs outlook on life so they can affect positive change?
⢠Where do compulsive destructive behaviors come from and what can be done about them?
⢠How to form closer bonds & keep growing the relationships with the people you care about?
⢠How to enhance oneâs own ability to survive and create positive healthy relationships whether in love, family & friendships or in work, business or oneâs career?
Relationships can be hard and life itself IS challenging. Why not arm yourself with the knowledge and breakthroughs that have been made about the mind, mental reactions & interpersonal relationships, so that one has better awareness and control over themselves and life in general.
Learn where painful experiences are âstoredâ and how they can unknowingly affect us. You will also find out how one can âeraseâ those past painful experiences so that one is free to move forward without being tripped up by the past. Learn too, about what can lead some people to become âtoxicâ personalities and how to identify those traits in others so you wonât be tripped up trusting the wrong person.
Our free Meet-ups occur in a safe environment where one can learn, without fear of judgment or criticism, and without the recommendation of harmful mental techniques or therapies, just how YOU can get yourself onto a happier & more successful path: in love & in life.
We look forward to having you join us!

Free In-Person Meeting: Healing from Trauma and Past Betrayals
This is a free, in person meeting.
