Everyone is welcome, but we suggest a language level of A2 to take part. You are welcome to bring something along that you might like to discuss, or just come to talk about whatever. Street Film Co-op welcomes any member to start a project. Here's info on how you can start a project or seek interest in your potential project. Please note: this is a standing meetup with info and it is not an actual invite to meet. The meetup site doesn't allow for a permanent post to be up but requires a deadline to be given. Types of projects Short films, web series, extremely low-budget features, a proof of concept short film for your feature, etc. There are no limitations on the type or length of project. Bear in mind that projects should be low to no budget. Each project will be posted for 2 months and interested people will contact you directly. Read below for more details and how-to’s. Contact the group's organizer Ian Nichol if you wish to launch a project. Create your own project description in a word doc (you will email to Ian) or email, based on past projects. Be engaging, tell a little about yourself, get people excited in your idea. Include your email and repeat it again but spelling it so you are putting “at” instead of @. The meetup site can sometimes hide email addresses in meetup posts. Keep the text re: the meetup's meeting date is just a deadline and not an actual meeting date. Paul and Chloe think Jennifer's project is fascinating, and they join the group. They gather around Jennifer’s laptop and work on the nav bar for 2 hours. Jennifer is the one typing out the code while Paul and Chloe research, brainstorm, and offer suggestions. The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. Our March speakers are Molly Gaines and Zack Parrish, co-organizers of the Secular Education Association: They will share their story of how a small group of Ohio parents grew into a national organization tracking released-time religious instruction and other church–state issues in public schools. The presentation will cover SEA’s early wins and hard lessons, what we’re seeing nationally right now, and how local advocates can play a meaningful role in protecting public education.
