\#\# Details \*\*This is a paid event, please register via our Luma Page. You need to have a ticket in order to attend this event: https://luma.com/sales-toronto-apr-22-2026 ## **Fueling the Next Wave of Revenue Leaders in Toronto!** Sales Toronto is back, and this edition is for the entire revenue team. Whether you're leading sales, marketing, or customer success, this one's for you. We're bringing together a CRO, a CMO, a Sales Leader, and a CS Leader to talk about what it really takes to build a high-performing RevOps machine, one where every part of your GTM team moves in the same direction. Each speaker takes the stage for a focused 5-minute talk. Expect real stories on why misaligned teams leave money on the table, how shared data changes the way you coach and forecast, and what it actually looks like when marketing, sales, and CS finally click. And this time, we're doing it in a brand new venue, same amazing TechTO community, fresh new energy. Great people, real conversations, and connections that move the needle.
German Conversations Toronto
German Conversations Toronto
**German Conversations Toronto 2026** This monthly event is for those of you who are not native speakers of German and would like to improve your conversational fluency. Everyone is welcome, but we suggest a language level of A2 to take part. You are welcome to bring something along that you might like to discuss, or just come to talk about whatever. We'll try to answer your questions. We used to take notes on questions asked and suggestions made and post them on-line after the event. Those previous notes are available [here](bit.ly/3Fefuba); there are some good ideas about other learning resources -- many free -- that you might want to try. **Cancellation Policy** Due to high numbers of attendees that are last minute cancellations or no-shows, e.g., up to and even sometimes more than 80% of guests registering and then not showing up, if no reason or excuse is provided for a cancellation or no show from 24 hours before the event to 24 hours after the event, I will remove the offending user from the group. **Health Policy** We want to protect your health, the health of your fellow members, and the health of the staff members where we meet. We encourage you to be vaccinated according to public health recommendations to enter the Madison Pub. \-\-\-\- **Thank you to our sponsor – Wir danken unserem Sponsor** Our group could not exist without our sponsor, Steffen Hugo. Professional Real Estate Services for Houses, Condos, Investments, Rentals. More info [here](https://www.steffenhugo.com/). Ohne unseren Sponsor, Steffen Hugo, ginge diese Meetupgruppe nicht. Profesionelle Immobiliendienstleistungen für Häuser, Wohnungen, Investitionsobjekte, Vermietungen. Weitere Infos [hier](https://www.steffenhugo.com/uber-mich/). \-\-\-\- A reminder: we are not a substitute for proper, formal instruction in German. We expect all attendees to attend or to have attended such instruction at a qualified educational institution like the [Goethe Institut Toronto](https://www.goethe.de/toronto), the [University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies](https://learn.utoronto.ca/), or the [German Saturday Schools of Toronto](https://www.dssgta.org/about-dss) (Deutsche Sprachschulen Toronto), or to have had instruction using online tools such as Duolingo. Please contact us if you would like more information on these options. We meet at the [Madison Pub](http://madisonavenuepub.com/), which has half-price wings on Wednesdays, and other reasonably-priced food and drink. **Location, directions and transport options** The pub is located just north of the University of Toronto campus in the Annex neighbourhood, conveniently close to public transit and parking. **Walking and public transit directions** From the intersection of Bloor Street West and Spadina Road, also the location of the [TTC Spadina subway station](https://www.ttc.ca/subway-stations/spadina-station), walk one block east along the north side of Bloor Street West to Madison Avenue, then turn left (north) and walk 100 m / 300 ft past the small parkette to the Madison pub on the left (west) side. **Parking** is available on-street on Madison Avenue, and in several nearby Toronto Parking Authority Green P parking lots. See the [Green P website](https://parking.greenp.com/) for more details. Caution: Madison Avenue is one-way south-bound for automobiles from Lowther Avenue to Bloor Street West. From Green P Carpark 231, take this shortcut to the pub: pass through the gate on the east side of the lot, follow the alleyway east to Madison Avenue, then turn right (south) a few steps to the pub. **Cycling** There is a Toronto Bike Share station at the corner of Bloor Street West and Madison Avenue. See the [Bike Share website](https://bikesharetoronto.com/) for more details. Google Maps link: http://g.co/maps/2ub93 I look forward to seeing everyone! Practical Philosophy Meetup - Toronto 🇨🇦
Practical Philosophy Meetup - Toronto 🇨🇦
**NO PHILOSOPHY EXPERTISE REQUIRED!** **🏛️ WHAT'S PRACTICAL PHILOSOPHY ABOUT?** Practical Philosophy is a weekly meet-up that brings critical thinkers together for an opportunity to dive deep on a topic, practice communicating, and building a community. All with no ‘official’ philosophy knowledge required! 😎 Practical Philosophy is based on the idea that philosophy should be accessible to all, and not something reserved only for academics. Each week we choose a topic, and the goal is to use the conversation to develop our critical thinking and communication as we explore that topic. The goal is to help develop our Critical Thinking, Communication, and Community 🙌 **📓 HOW DOES IT WORK?** Each week, we pick one topic and discuss it. The topic for the week is shared, generally in the [Whatsapp group](https://chat.whatsapp.com/B7LyJIeBlaH5VtXkMJTTph?mode=gi_t), along with jump-off points to get the conversation going. When groups get bigger than 7-8 people, it’s important that we break into smaller groups. This way we are able to maintain a conversational flow as opposed to having our meetups feel like a discourse or lecture. **General Meeting Agenda** Each Practical Philosophy meet-up follows this general timeline: * 19:30-19:45 - People arrive and chat, get to know each other before the official start. * 19:45-19:55 - Meeting introduction, explanation of Practical Philosophy and the topic for the week, read the guidelines and the overview so attendees know what to expect in terms of timelines. * 19:55-21:15 - Break into small groups - introduce yourselves and general thoughts on the topic, open discussion afterwards. At this point the group can review the ‘jump-off’ questions as needed, but they are just there to help guide the conversation. It’s not obligatory to answer them. * 21:15-21:30 - Bring everyone back together to discuss conclusions of the topic - each group gives a short 1-minute summary. Organizer concludes the meeting and everyone takes a group photo. * 21:30 - The official meeting is over but it’s a great opportunity to get to know people in a non-structured environment, so we often stick around, chat, and get to know each other. **🧧PRICING?** Practical Philosophy is operated entirely on voluntary donations! If we are meeting in a café, buy a beverage! Donations are 100% voluntary, but they help us to bring the gift of deep conversation to people around the world. If you'd like to support, you can [donate here](https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/donation-form/donate-to-practical-philosophy)! (Practical Philosophy is a registered Canadian charity) **💛 WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT PRACTICAL PHILOSOPHY** **🗣** “I feel like Philosophy Club helps someone build their own belief system through a series of perspectives while not promoting what’s right and wrong” - Ekam 🗣 “I got hooked from day 1 (the topic was authority) and felt it was the right place for me. I feel it is a place where people can go to learn and discuss new perspectives and increase critical thinking and community by interacting with people who might challenge your point of views but at the same time encourage you to have openness and mind flexibility.” - Daniel **🤓 FAQ** * **Do I need to study or read anything to attend?** No preparation is necessary. This isn’t a study of other thinkers. We want to know what you think about the topic, not what an old philosopher thought. If you have a perspective from a religion or a school of thought to share, throw it on the table and we’ll discuss it. * **Is there a specific philosophy that Practical Philosophy is focused on?** The goal of our meet-ups is to not have dogmatic discussions, and flex our critical thinking muscles. Because of this, we want to hear from every realm of thought, and don't study a particular school. * **Is it mostly men that attend?** Surprisingly, no! Although often, philosophy is seen as a Candelabra affair in a dark room with a bunch of guys, our Practical Philosophy meetups are generally 50/50 between genders, and we don’t meet in any dark rooms. * **Can I come alone?** Of course you can, we encourage it :) * **Can I be late?** Please don't be! We do have a 15 minute grace period where we allow people to funnel in while we hang out, but after that if you arrive too late, it disrupts the flow of the conversation. * **Where do you meet?** The location is posted in Meetup and our [Whatsapp](https://chat.whatsapp.com/B7LyJIeBlaH5VtXkMJTTph?mode=gi_t) group for this location. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you join the Whatsapp group! If you want to know what other cities have a Practical Philosophy Club, you can see our chapters on our [website](https://www.practicalphilosophy.club/practical-philosophy-locations/). 🤝**POLICY** To respect our members privacy, we ask that no one privately message a member without first getting explicit consent. (This looks like speaking in person and being asked to message privately.) Contacting or texting other participants without prior consent is not permitted and may result in removal from the group. Practical Philosophy reserves the right to enforce this policy at its discretion to maintain a safe and respectful environment. **PRACTICAL PHILOSOPHY CLUB - Philosophy, everywhere. ✨** We started in Practical Philosophy back in 2021 and there are now 50+ chapters in over 25 countries, including Canada, Spain, Japan, Mexico and many more! 🗺️ **\*\*\*** **Join our [Toronto Whatsapp](https://chat.whatsapp.com/B7LyJIeBlaH5VtXkMJTTph?mode=gi_t) 👈** **Follow us on [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/practicalphilosophyclub/) 👈** **Our [website](https://www.practicalphilosophy.club/) 👈**

[POSTPONED] SG Toronto Lab: 10x Your Marketing Team with AI Agents
Most marketing teams spend hours on chores like writing social posts or sorting through lead lists. At SG Toronto Lab, you will build AI agents to handle this work for you. This is a hands-on session led by Fatima Abdillahi (Founder, Agentflow) where you stop talking about AI and start building tools that actually run your marketing. By the time you leave, you will have a marketing system that works while you sleep. You will move from being stuck in the daily mess to having a clear plan that executes itself. Participants will leave with: A clear understanding of how AI can scale small marketing teams A practical framework for building marketing workflows with AI A working AI-powered marketing workflow or agent A repeatable system for content creation, campaign planning, or lead generation Prompts and templates they can reuse after the workshop A step-by-step approach to implementing AI in their marketing process Clarity on how to automate repetitive marketing tasks Who should be in the room? Mob Programming at Mofer Coffee
Mob Programming at Mofer Coffee
Let’s do some coding together at a cafe! No more working alone in the weekend. Here, we write code together. And I mean together together. Not occupying-the-same-space-but-separate together. Here’s how it works: Jennifer brings her mobile app project, tells everyone that it is like Pinterest for recipes and she’d like to work on the nav bar. Paul and Chloe think Jennifer's project is fascinating, and they join the group. They gather around Jennifer’s laptop and work on the nav bar for 2 hours. Jennifer is the one typing out the code while Paul and Chloe research, brainstorm, and offer suggestions. If you’re feeling stuck on your own project or need a motivation boost, bring it to mob programming! Want to learn by watching how others code and solve problems? Join someone else’s project at this event! Oh and we love your half-done projects that you are a bit embarrassed to share. Absolutely bring those to the event! **Discord**: We use Discord to share screen & code snippets during the event. Also feel free to share your projects here before the event! https://discord.gg/yvAGbh4PpD **Event policy**: * We have 0 tolerance for harassment. * We don’t allow the projects that are not meant to be shared in public such as school assignments, interview tasks, or trade secrets. * The goal is to write code. We discourage you from pitching business ideas here, doing code reviews, or spending the whole event on planning what to do. * Please buy a drink, and tip the barista well.

The Story So Far: A WiA Reflection Circle
The Story So Far: A WiA Reflection Circle
A WiA Collective Wisdom Exchange At the start of this year, we gathered to look back, set intentions, and imagine the next chapter. This is the follow-up. Not a check-in. Not a progress report. A small, facilitated circle to reconnect with what you said mattered — and honestly explore what’s actually happening now. Together, we’ll explore: • What you intended at the start of this year - and what that looks like three months in • What’s surprised you, supported you, or shifted • What the next chapter needs now that you know what you know If you were at our January gathering, bring whatever you made or wrote — your word, your artifact, your intention. We’ll look at it with fresh eyes. If this is your first time, you belong here too. You’ll start where we all started: with what’s true right now. Optional art materials will be available for anyone who wants to reflect creatively alongside conversation. If you brought something home from January, you’re warmly invited to bring it back. The intention is the same as always: everyone leaves feeling more clear, more connected, and a little lighter. Space is intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate. What to Expect • A small, welcoming circle (not a large meetup) • Structured conversation so everyone has space to speak • Reflection, listening, and lived experience — not advice-giving • Optional creative reflection alongside conversation • A calm, supportive environment Who This Is For Women and underrepresented folks working in or around agile, product, technology, leadership, or organizational change — especially those looking for honest conversation and community beyond frameworks and buzzwords. Good to Know • No preparation required • If you attended in January, we invite you to bring anything you created or wrote (or something that represents your intention at the start of the year) - it’s optional but invited • Participation is invitational; listening is always welcome • Creative activities are optional

The building address is 4450 Bridge Park The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400 You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge. **Abstract** GitHub Copilot is powerful, but what if you could scale from a solo AI assistant to an entire team of specialized agents working in parallel? This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise. We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration. Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team. **YouTube Link** TBD
